We had a wonderful time! The campground was in tiptop shape, the staff were courteous, informative. Our lakeside spot, #15, could not have been a better location. Ducks and swans came to visit everyday. We highly recommend this KOA. One of our favorites so far!

The entire CG staff were awesome. The registration desk changed our site at our request to accommodate backing in our fifth wheel and moved us to a spacious site. Bathrooms are clean with hot showers. Have daily no fee honey wagon service for none sewer sites.

Great place close to many attractions, great walking trail around lakes, only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the off leash dog park was trampled to dirt.

We had a good time , my granddaughter had a great time in the events for children ,Thanks you Alex. Alex was great in the events for the children with a smile the whole time. The others that helped was good also but Alex went the extra mile..

Loved the activities. Very nice staff. It is great for our family reunions. Restrooms and area are very clean and safe. Sites a little crowded with neighbor's sewage next to our table. Small campfires space.

Gorgeous property!! Kids loved the river & playground, games. Lots of bathrooms that were clean & some renovated. The roadnoise is a little loud if you don’t have a fan but nothing you can do about that.

First time staying at Asheville East KOA, and I was very happy with the cleanliness of the campground and friendliness of the staff. The only *complaint" is that I had to back my trailer into the dump station instead of there being a convenient area to turn around and pull through. However, the complimentary honey wagon service was a nice thing to have available.

Dan at the front desk was GREAT! The place was very crowded from the moment we pulled in. It was very tight and seemed like they stacked them on top of one another. People drove very fast through the campground w/dust flying everywhere. Not a relaxing place as far as that. We backed up to the water which was peaceful. Could be a lovely spot just to many campsites to close together.

Late check in was such a breeze and so well organized. The grounds seemed clean and well maintained. Our only major dislike was just the layout of this particular KOA. The tent sites are pretty small and cramped with NO privacy or really any nature to be had. It was fine but not our style of camping at all, especially for the price.

Quite full when I arrived. No privacy at all between sites. Shower area could have some heat, showering in 40° temps was not fun! Everyone was quite respectful and helpful. Have already reserved a week for next year.

There appeared to be many good sites at the Ashville KOA. Mine wasn't one of them. Right next to busy road and train tracks.

Camp sites are a little to close for my taste. The bathrooms and showers had a nasty smell and there were only two showers.

Extremely small site. B10, neighbors awning was 4’ from my slide out. Some sites are very nice, but not in B section. We were told that B section is planned to be reworked. I’ll check it again after this work is done.

I've stayed at a number of KOAs, and this one, from location to activities to friendliness of other guests, is hands down the best I've encountered! I loved the lakes and the ample spots to set up a hammock or chair and relax. Wonderfully maintained, including modern and clean bathrooms.

From Check in to Check out every staff member was beyond helpful. The facilities are clean and the campground is very well maintained. I have been camping all my life and this campground is at the top of the list for best experience.

Everything was wonderful! Cabin was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful. Kids activities were amazing!

This was our very first family camping trip with our 8, 5, and 2 year old. It completely exceeded our expectations! The events for the kids were so fun, and the employees were TOP NOTCH! We've since joined the KOA member rewards club and are already planning our trip back! Thanks for a WONDERFUL vacation! Can't wait until our next one!

The campground itself is great! It seems since the origin owners are no longer there, customer service is not as good. They rarely answer the phone. But..When they do are fairly quick to respond to issues. The fire wood was unusable �

Love this campground! Lots of activities and clean bathhouses. Campsites along a small river or lakeside are available along with bikes and small pedal boats for hourly rental. Close enough to Asheville to stay, but far enough that you can feel like you got away. We try to come at least once a year. Bigger cabins no longer have a stove top.
