Good stay was to close to traffic and train. Would have liked to been by river. But it was a good stay other than surrounding noises.

We had a lovely stay at the Asheville East KOA. Facilites and grounds were immaculate and the on-site team were pleasant, friendly and there when you needed them

Personnel were great, and area near the water looked good. However, the upper area for tents and vans is pretty rough. The bathhouse up there badly needs an update.

Kampground and facilities were excellent. We were in a tent site, and if the campground were full, the sites would have been too close together for my liking.

The app showed a beautiful riverside property. We arrived to find our spot full of mud, not near a river, but next to a run down trailer park. Bath houses had no toilet paper, hand soap, were freezing, and the the toilets were overflowing with feces. We told the front desk lady that we were appalled. She suggested that we come back "during summer." We immediately packed up and left. Never again.

I LOVE CAMPING AT KOA CAMP GROUNDS! They are always clean and staff is always friendly! Would recommend to everyone.

I was in the tent area. My site was equipped with a picnic table and water and electric hookups. Trash cans were readily available. The restrooms were a short walk down a hill. The campground was clean and well cared for.

Late check in was such a breeze and so well organized. The grounds seemed clean and well maintained. Our only major dislike was just the layout of this particular KOA. The tent sites are pretty small and cramped with NO privacy or really any nature to be had. It was fine but not our style of camping at all, especially for the price.

Quite full when I arrived. No privacy at all between sites. Shower area could have some heat, showering in 40° temps was not fun! Everyone was quite respectful and helpful. Have already reserved a week for next year.

This was our very first family camping trip with our 8, 5, and 2 year old. It completely exceeded our expectations! The events for the kids were so fun, and the employees were TOP NOTCH! We've since joined the KOA member rewards club and are already planning our trip back! Thanks for a WONDERFUL vacation! Can't wait until our next one!

The site was good and a fine job done on the bathrooms each day, including the showers. Unfortunately due to its proximity to the Interstate, the road noise is so loud and pervasive, that you really have to be dead tired to sleep past the constant drone...as well as the railroad "wake up call" . The grounds are well kept up and enough playground stuff to keep kids happy..plus a gro store close

I enjoyed my brief stay at your campground. Showers were hot and the WiFi was very fast. Only issue I had was that I-40 was easy to hear from my camp site. I would stay there again.

Was disappointed that there are rules regarding "quiet time" and the "no alcohol" rule when there was a huge group accross from us obviously drinking all day and half the night disrespecting others stay.

Tent camping in the T section after years of tent camping in D section. A lot rougher than I expect from a KOA, restrooms have not been updated as they are in D section. Felt second class to tell you all the truth. I'll be back, but, you all have work to do if that is the new tenting section. I generally do not put my tent up in clay/mud when a gravel pad is advertised. Disappointed to be honest.

Everyone is very helpful and friendly! I stayed in the tent area with my travel trailer, and it seemed that the bathhouse was a bit more dilapidated than others on the site. But I felt safe and enjoyed my time!

Tents are very close to each other. D role is close to the busy street so you can hear noise. Visitors made noise and strong smoke smell from fire pit until 1:30am midnight.

Stay was great. Bathroom showers need to be thoroughly cleaned! Showers were a little gross by zone T. Bathroom stalhs ran out of TP and paper towel holder empty for awhile. Will come back, hope showers are deep cleaned soon!

Nice level lots. Good views. Lots of family activities (movie night, craft time, icecream, bingo). There isn't a ton to do close by around the area but we didn't need to leave to keep ourselves entertained. The grounds are fun to explore and keep little ones busy. This is our second visit in 3 years and will most likely come again.

Great site convenient to both Black Mountain and Asheville. Hosts are super friendly and welcoming. Hot water was abundant and campsite / area was clean. Also very dog friendly which is a big plus for me.

It was totally wonderful! The tent sites (T section) we stayed at were spacious, nice and flat, and had the easily accessible water and electric hookup as promised. The bathhouse was a little dated, but perfectly clean. (What impressed me the most was the shower curtain liner actually being clean. Love this campground! Lots of activities and clean bathhouses. Campsites along a small river or lakeside are available along with bikes and small pedal boats for hourly rental. Close enough to Asheville to stay, but far enough that you can feel like you got away. We try to come at least once a year. Bigger cabins no longer have a stove top.
