We enjoyed the "Can Do" attitude of the administrative staff. We have already made reservations for Oct. The only thing that was more of an inconvenience than a problem. The stove area had these very small ants, that felt that was their home. If I had a can of spray, I would have fixed that small problem. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to October!! Thank You.

Stayed in cabin #3 for 2 nights. Great location, awesome view. Deck, chairs, outdoor furniture, fire ring, very nice & in great condition. Indoor of the cabin is basic but very functional and clean. Staff helpful This is our second visit to Asheville and we have stayed at the East KOA both times. Our main purpose of trip was to visit Biltmore, The amenities and campsites also seem good.

Our family (+poodle) stayed overnight in the DC-6 cabin. It was a great getaway, with a wonderful chance to relax in beautiful surroundings! The scenic Swannanoa river, neighboring lake, ducks, & geese offered much to enjoy. It was especially fun to watch the fishermen early Saturday morning, catching trout! Cabin is well appointed & included a fridge & Keurig. Staff was great. We'll return!

The staff was nice and area/bathroom are very clean. The cabin we stayed in didn’t have heat so we froze all night so that wasn’t great but when we went to check out ( only stayed one night) we let them know about the heat issues and they gave us half off for that night. All in all not bad but will definitely check that the heat and ac work in future stays.

This was our first camp ground experience and we had an amazing time. The staff was so friendly and helpful to us and we are now hooked on KOA camping and plan to plan many trips to different campground this summer. Our cabin was nice and warm during the cold weather and very clean. All facilities including the bathhouse were clean as well.

Stayed in a cabin right on the lake -they are nicely spaced apart (more so than other KOAs) great trails for walking and biking!

We arrived early and we immediately got our cabin. I was surprised at how cute it was, I loved the lake and walking trail. The ducks and geese were a bit annoying at first but quickly realized If I left them alone they left me alone and it was all part of the experience. I can’t wait to come back one day soon.

We stayed in one of the cabins and there was plenty of room. The office and game room were fun for the kids and we also took out the bike carts. Loads of fun but haven't used those muscles in a long time. The only complaint is that we came up for our granddaughter to see snow. Wouldn't you know that the week before there was plenty and for our week none. We did find a tubing hill with snow.

wonderful stay! love the property, staff so friendly. our only thing we would change would be the price for renting bikes and boats. we would have rented briefly both of those, but in our opinion, during the wintertime, but not at the prices quoted. we think they were double what we would have paid. but no problem...we will still come back. thanks!

only stayed one night, from out of town and had to do business in Ashville. The deluxe cabin was a great choice for us. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed in K8. Weather-decent in mid-January. Cabin door didn't fit opening very well - the cold winds blew in the first night. After that, the sun shone - the south rear window exposure warmed the cabin up nicely. Bath house doors didn't fit the frames very well - let a lot of cold air into the handicapped shower/restroom areas. The restroom/bath house is modern. All in all, a good experience.

Bathrooms are nice and clean. Staff are always smiling and helpful. We usually bring our Rv but this time We stay in a cabin. It was 28 degrees out and our heater did not work. � we froze our butt off.

Absolutely loved staying here. Very pretty views and cabins were in great condition. The only complaint would be that the fridge was not very cold. Other than that, had a great time!

The deluxe cabin was beyond cozy! December is a great time to enjoy a quiet stay and snuggle up after a nice walk around the lakes on the property. Cabin was clean and didn’t reek of chemicals or stuffy upon entry. This KOA is close to grocery stores and several yummy restaurants. Can’t wait to go back

Our family enjoyed our stay in one of the cabins overlooking the lake at the Asheville East KOA. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. We would be happy to stay again!

Love this campground! Lots of activities and clean bathhouses. Campsites along a small river or lakeside are available along with bikes and small pedal boats for hourly rental. Close enough to Asheville to stay, but far enough that you can feel like you got away. We try to come at least once a year. Bigger cabins no longer have a stove top.
