Site e6 was beautiful. However - firewood bought from camp store was green and wet and would not light. Frustrating.

The people and the campground are great. We were in A12 by the river and it doesn't get much better. The only negative was the constant noise from the highway.

Had to move spots because the staff doesn’t read the notes on reservations nor answers the phone. I went from a terrific spot at E26 to a garbage, tight one at B27. Despite my asking, the staff did nothing to accommodate us into a better spot

Amazing! We only were passing through but super friendly staff and so much to do for our littles, wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back!

We have stayed at the Asheville East KOA many times over the years. Starting with a tent, to a pop-up camper, then to cabins & now the deluxe cabins with a partial bath. The sites, cabins, deluxe lodges & bathhouses are well maintained & the entire KOA staff have made each stay memorable. We extend our sincere thanks for yet another great stay this past weekend! We happily recommend this KOA!!

Was disappointed that there are rules regarding "quiet time" and the "no alcohol" rule when there was a huge group accross from us obviously drinking all day and half the night disrespecting others stay.

Tent camping in the T section after years of tent camping in D section. A lot rougher than I expect from a KOA, restrooms have not been updated as they are in D section. Felt second class to tell you all the truth. I'll be back, but, you all have work to do if that is the new tenting section. I generally do not put my tent up in clay/mud when a gravel pad is advertised. Disappointed to be honest.

A word of warning to anyone coming from the west on Hwy 70, the Navigation button tells you to turn right over a railroad tracks. The KOA is on the left, not the right when traveling east.

This is a well run campground with very helpful staff. So many neat activities were available for the children: dance offs, costume contests, art projects, and burying a pumpkin seed one day and small pumpkins appearing the next day. The staff in charge of activities was innovative and did an excellent job. There is such an atmosphere of welcome. We will come back again.

absolutely beautiful!! Nice facility. we only stayed for 1 night and immediately booked again for this summer. Staff was helpful and very friendly.

Perfect weather. The campground is a great place to visit with plenty to do for adults and kids. Lots of activity from activities director. Still wishing and waiting for them to get the grass areas around lakes mowed/ trimmed. All areas that contain grass are still overgrown which in turn makes the campground look unkept. Wish they’d move campers from storage to site. Looking forward to 20

Property was attractive, proximity to BRP is good, cabin was cute and reasonably clean, bathhouse cleanliness and overall maintenance were marginal.

Way over-priced ..... sites are too crowded, lack of sewer hookups. The dump station is not designed for big rigs....too hard to get into it.

You put us in the row right behind the game area in front. Do you realize it is lit up all night? And you have fire pits there? We wanted to have a fire in the dark not under 5 spot light. And kids should not be playing there at night in quiet time. Shut the lights off. Maybe you would sell more firewood also.

Very clean, staff was courteous, they were decorated for Halloween and had a movie playing for kids and family. We got the very last site available - last minute. They were full and I understand why. We will be back.

I loved the place, lots of areas to exercise dogs, campsite pull through was great. Only gave 4 stars because the bathroom facility could use a little attention. It wasn’t clean. Otherwise our experience was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location with lots to do in the area. We stayed in a tent trailer on the bigger lake/pond which also gave us a back view of the river. Very pretty! Nice amenities and friendly staff

Perfect area for visiting Asheville and the Mtns!!! Loved camping on the river and walking the trail around the water. Friendly helpful staff !! Would visit here again!

Loved our stay. We don't usually go for the deluxe sites but really enjoyed the nice concrete patio & patio furniture provided. Only reason rating wasn't higher is train & siren noise (location was convenient but noisy). thanks.

Nice campground with GREAT internet WiFi service. We had a secluded camp sight. The terrain was a little uneven and we had to level but overall good experience.

No issues during the stay. We stayed in a cozy cabin. I do feel the cabin floor could have been cleaner. We swept the floor shortly after arriving and swept up a lot of dirt and dust. The location to the bathroom was great. Setup of the cabin was perfect for us. The refrigerator was an added bonus because we did not see it listed in the cabin amenities. Within 5 minutes of restaurant and coffee.

Love this campground! Lots of activities and clean bathhouses. Campsites along a small river or lakeside are available along with bikes and small pedal boats for hourly rental. Close enough to Asheville to stay, but far enough that you can feel like you got away. We try to come at least once a year. Bigger cabins no longer have a stove top.
