Very nice place. We are used to more "state park" type camping so we were wondering if it would be as enjoyable. The staff is crazy nice and they really take care of you here. We were so pleased and will most likely be returning in the future. Great place to camp!!

I used to enjoy staying at this campground. Now it’s almost impossible to back into a space because other campers are allowed to park in such a way it blocks the ability to safely back in. The campsites are muddy and in need of being traveled or tarred. I didn’t appreciate my hoses and my feet getting dirty while setting up. I would think for the $$ you charge you could afford to grav

Nice location and the staff was courteous. Sites are small, ordered fire wood which was never delivered after 4 requests, I carried it myself to the site, and bathhouse was small with low water pressure and ran out of hot water. I’ve been at better KOAs

Too short. This KOA has a park like atmosphere. As soon as we pulled in I knew I should have booked more nights. Who knew?

Beautiful campground. Disappointed that I paid for a patio full hook and couldn’t use sewer. Two times I was told they were sending someone right away. Finally stopped guy picking up trash and He said, “use it, just dump slow.” Had to swap sites with in laws in order to empty black tank when we were leavings When addressed with front desk, nothing offered except we can send someone to look a

All in all this is a gorgeous campground and maintained. Our ONLY issue is that our site had dog poop on it from previous camper UGH! PLEASE pick up the mess your pup deposits! My only reservation about staying here again is having dog deposits greet us...that was nasty. We ended up having to clean up...:(.

Everyone is very helpful and friendly! I stayed in the tent area with my travel trailer, and it seemed that the bathhouse was a bit more dilapidated than others on the site. But I felt safe and enjoyed my time!

Friendly staff, plenty of activities. Good location. this was our first trip to the area, and we spent most of our time away from the camp (Biltmore etc), but our time at camp was very nice and relaxing. We will be back.

This is my second visit to this KOA and it was even better than the first. We loved our cabin and our stay. My 2 and 4 year old had the time of their lives. The staff was wonderful and considerate. I was walking back to my cabin with my kids in the dark and an employee offered us a ride on a golf cart, which we happily accepted.

Tents are very close to each other. D role is close to the busy street so you can hear noise. Visitors made noise and strong smoke smell from fire pit until 1:30am midnight.

Stay was great. Bathroom showers need to be thoroughly cleaned! Showers were a little gross by zone T. Bathroom stalhs ran out of TP and paper towel holder empty for awhile. Will come back, hope showers are deep cleaned soon!

This was our home base for the Mars Hill homecoming weekend. We had a great campsite E15 Will be back next year. We just love this campground. Second time this year staying there. Management please get some magnets with your logo

We really enjoyed the family friendly activities planned. Our kamping kabin was clean. Staff were friendly. The location is beautiful.

Beautiful location!! Love the river and the ponds. Very clean facility. Great communication with staff. Only negative, as a camper without access to a bathroom in my pop up we’re the long walks to the bath house (depending on your site location). But that WILL NOT STOP us from coming back!!

Nice level lots. Good views. Lots of family activities (movie night, craft time, icecream, bingo). There isn't a ton to do close by around the area but we didn't need to leave to keep ourselves entertained. The grounds are fun to explore and keep little ones busy. This is our second visit in 3 years and will most likely come again.

We love the Asheville East KOA however we were not in love with our campsite this time. We stayed in site B37 and the camper next door to us had a large dog who’s owner did not feel the need to pick up feces.

Nice and quiet every one was friendly. River was very high from all the rain. Will definitely recommend it to anyone.

We had a blast! The only suggestion would be to have someone answer the phones for questions or even for an emergency. I call multiple times the day before I arrived and during my stay. The door knob wouldn't open so I was locked in the room for 2 hours until it finally opened. I called multiple times, left a message even called the 911 number with no avail. Other than that, we loved it!!

My wife and I made a last minute reservation for this past weekend, and had a wonderful time. I can see all the improvements that have gone on over the last few years, and they are all top notch. The staff was very pleasant, and we wished we could have participated in all the activities onsite. We cant wait to visit again

Great campground, everyone was friendly and helpful. This place is clean and well kept. We stayed in Oct. of 2021 for a week. The owners are awesome. Definitely will be going back. Thanks for a great week in tbe mountains.

We had a great time here. The park is clean, and it appeared to have everything working for the guess. It would be nice if they could upgrade and install mini golf or jumping pillow for the kids like other koa has. Tim B Kentucky

Bathhouse was OK nothing special. There are some back in sites that back right up to a lake. Well-stocked store with nice staff.

I have spent the night here several times as I am on my way to/from my brother's place in the Georgia mountains. Good location. This is a large and well maintained KOA. Staff is courteous and helpful.

Love this campground! Lots of activities and clean bathhouses. Campsites along a small river or lakeside are available along with bikes and small pedal boats for hourly rental. Close enough to Asheville to stay, but far enough that you can feel like you got away. We try to come at least once a year. Bigger cabins no longer have a stove top.
