Gorgeous KOA HOLIDAY! Beautiful, soothing river with ducks and geese. The BEST staff, kind & caring, who maintain the park to a high level. Would recommend to anyone. Very pleased return customer. Picture perfect/Instagram worthy.

Nobody answers the phone. We observed four people in the office actively avoiding a ringing phone — after we went to the office because nobody would answer or return our calls. I really wanted this to be a good experience. The best part was the honey pot service, very good and nice folks.

Loved my site on the lake. Shower room was so cold...showers had plenty of hot water but floor was like standing on ice, the restroom was cold as well.

The cabin was adorable and very clean. The campground itself was lovely and very inviting. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

Quiet campground. Courteous service. Only complaint is that we called several times with questions but could never get anyone on the phone. Everything worked out in the end so no problem.

We love this KOA and have stayed a few times here. This time we felt very cramped in the camp spot we were assigned. We have a 38 ft camper and there was barely any room to park our truck in front of it without being in the road. But that being said it is still our favorite place to stay close to Asheville but we will be sure to request a large site.

We arrived around 8 pm after calling to ensure a spot was available but there weren’t any pens available for the after hours check in process and the amenities such as wifi weren’t available to us since we checked in late. We attempted to call the reservations hotline for assistance several times but it was never answered. The bathrooms were also dirty. Overpriced for the cleanliness/amenities

We stayed in one of the cabins and there was plenty of room. The office and game room were fun for the kids and we also took out the bike carts. Loads of fun but haven't used those muscles in a long time. The only complaint is that we came up for our granddaughter to see snow. Wouldn't you know that the week before there was plenty and for our week none. We did find a tubing hill with snow.

We enjoyed our stay. But, we were disappointed that there was no change machine in the laundry room. The office was closed and we could not do our laundry.

wonderful stay! love the property, staff so friendly. our only thing we would change would be the price for renting bikes and boats. we would have rented briefly both of those, but in our opinion, during the wintertime, but not at the prices quoted. we think they were double what we would have paid. but no problem...we will still come back. thanks!

We stayed at your location for nearly 2 months and truly enjoyed our stay. The staff we encountered were always kind, available and assisted us when ever we made an inquiry. The bathroom/shower room was kept clean and truly enjoyed the hot water and related pressure. We look forward to returning one day to Asheville East and understand there are lots of improvements planned for the park.

only stayed one night, from out of town and had to do business in Ashville. The deluxe cabin was a great choice for us. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed in K8. Weather-decent in mid-January. Cabin door didn't fit opening very well - the cold winds blew in the first night. After that, the sun shone - the south rear window exposure warmed the cabin up nicely. Bath house doors didn't fit the frames very well - let a lot of cold air into the handicapped shower/restroom areas. The restroom/bath house is modern. All in all, a good experience.

Love this campground! Lots of activities and clean bathhouses. Campsites along a small river or lakeside are available along with bikes and small pedal boats for hourly rental. Close enough to Asheville to stay, but far enough that you can feel like you got away. We try to come at least once a year. Bigger cabins no longer have a stove top.
