Our stay was short but very nice and relaxing. We stayed on site A-6. Right on the creek. We liked it so much we booked a week in June so we can enjoy the creek with warmer temperatures. Rented the 4 wheel cart to ride around the campground. Was very pleased and will definitely come back.

We love the campground! This visit was disappointing due to our lot location! It’s very well maintained and the people are very nice! We ran out of propane around midnight and it was bitter cold, unfortunately the emergency phone number provided us was no help, my 8 year old and I sat in my car for a couple of hours in the heat while my husband and oldest son finally tracked down some propane!

We have stayed here fir years and always enjoy our visits. The bathroom upgrades this year were a welcome surprise. Great stay! Will be back!

Extremely nice campground with a super friendly and professional staff! The creek and lakes are beautiful! Plus, the overall cleanliness and site maintenance was spectacular. The only negative was traffic noise. However, our site’s close proximity to the entrance, the main road, and interstate could be the main reason for this one negative. Sites around the lake are probably more quiet.

Very relaxing, but so cold outside. We always enjoy staying here. Very nice and well taken care of. Just wish there was more space between sites.

This was my second time at this KOA and it was just as wonderful as it was the first time! All of the staff were friendly, the cabin and facilities were clean, and communications regarding check-in/check-out were clear. I will definitely be coming back!

Great facility and location. Wonderful property. Would have scored a perfect 10 but they didn't have firewood. Would definitely stay here again.

A great campground! Staff is nice. Bathrooms were very clean and heated! Large campground plenty of room to walk the dogs around the lake and along the river highly recommend this place.

It is such a beautiful place and the staff are so friendly. We stayed in a camping cabin which was very clean. It was very cold in Asheville while we were there so we used the heater in the cabin, it warmed it up quickly. Loved our stay!

Our cabin was very clean and so was the property. However, I tried 7 times (with phone records) to call and come a night early after receiving a text. Nobody answers the phone and the people there are very rude. Nobody is friendly at check in or check out and has a bad attitude when have questions. I’ve stayed 3 times and this was the worst experience, I’ll not be back due to the employees.

We had an enjoyable stay. Staff is very friendly. The 50 amp back-in sites upfront were a little close but the rear of the site was on the green common area and near the dog park. We will return in the future.

We stayed in a front spot which was very close to other campers without a view. But there are nice spots by the river that I would recommend.

Great stay for us at KOA East. Loved the large laundry room-my washer was down and out. My only complaint would be trying to get in and out was a bottleneck!! When RV’s are lined up to check in, guests can not get out! Enjoyed the beautiful river running through the park.

We had a very nice spot. However, like most KOAs the spots were on top of each other. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Disorganized, sites are falling apart, electricity set up almost broke our RV system. This place is a joke. Do not recommend, will not go there again

We are in love with this campground! It is so, SO beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We rode bikes, the golf cart, fed the ducks. The campground was clean and well kept. We will most definitely be repeat customers!!

Very lovely setting . Cabin was comfortable. BDeck was great. Our only suggestion is to not have a camp site so close to the right of the cabin.

Your campground is very nice but WAY TO EXPENSIVE. Full hookup is nice but not really necessary since the cable wouldn’t even come in and on top of that having to pay $25 just to get spot you want. I can go to other (non KOA) and camp 3 days for the price of one here and choose the spot I want without paying extra. Sorry to say but this is my last stay with you.

Fantastic KOA-----close to attractions (Biltmore), grocery store (Ingles---the BEST), quiet, love the patio site. We have stayed there several times before and will always stay there when we come to Asheville.

Love this campground! Lots of activities and clean bathhouses. Campsites along a small river or lakeside are available along with bikes and small pedal boats for hourly rental. Close enough to Asheville to stay, but far enough that you can feel like you got away. We try to come at least once a year. Bigger cabins no longer have a stove top.
