A great campground! Staff is nice. Bathrooms were very clean and heated! Large campground plenty of room to walk the dogs around the lake and along the river highly recommend this place.

We had an enjoyable stay. Staff is very friendly. The 50 amp back-in sites upfront were a little close but the rear of the site was on the green common area and near the dog park. We will return in the future.

Great place. Hard to get big campers backed in by the lake. But besides that we loved it.

We stayed in a front spot which was very close to other campers without a view. But there are nice spots by the river that I would recommend.

Great stay for us at KOA East. Loved the large laundry room-my washer was down and out. My only complaint would be trying to get in and out was a bottleneck!! When RV’s are lined up to check in, guests can not get out! Enjoyed the beautiful river running through the park.

We had a very nice spot. However, like most KOAs the spots were on top of each other. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful.

First time campers—we were thrilled with koa great campsite, we were greeted by friendly staff-they we’re always around if we had questions—they were awesome! Very convenient—felt very safe. Great experience—we’ll be back! Thank you

Disorganized, sites are falling apart, electricity set up almost broke our RV system. This place is a joke. Do not recommend, will not go there again

Your campground is very nice but WAY TO EXPENSIVE. Full hookup is nice but not really necessary since the cable wouldn’t even come in and on top of that having to pay $25 just to get spot you want. I can go to other (non KOA) and camp 3 days for the price of one here and choose the spot I want without paying extra. Sorry to say but this is my last stay with you.

Fantastic KOA-----close to attractions (Biltmore), grocery store (Ingles---the BEST), quiet, love the patio site. We have stayed there several times before and will always stay there when we come to Asheville.

It's an older KOA sites tend to be close together. Some areas within the park are nicer than others. In dry weather its very dusty. The staff is friendly and helpful. Access is relatively easy off of I-40. Very accessible to Asheville and the Biltmore estate.

This Holiday campground is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy nature. The trails around the lakes provide excellent space to walk and enjoy the scenery. The staff is very helpful and friendly. All facilities were super clean.

Although we weren’t there long, the campground is very nice. There seems to be many games to play in season. I think it’d be a great place to visit in the summer. My camper backed up to the Swannona River and that was nice to wake up to.

Love this campground! Lots of activities and clean bathhouses. Campsites along a small river or lakeside are available along with bikes and small pedal boats for hourly rental. Close enough to Asheville to stay, but far enough that you can feel like you got away. We try to come at least once a year. Bigger cabins no longer have a stove top.
