Check in and out was very easy. Cabin was clean. We had vehicle trouble and had to add an extra night on our stay. Front desk clerk was very helpful in making this happen for us.

I have stayed at the Cherokee KOA several times, but this was my first time paying for a nice cabin. There was no wifi and the front office didn't seem to care about the issue. The front office associate also made us put on masks (we are vaccinated) when we came in, but only one of the staff members in there wwas wearing a mask!

In valley....great to see sun peek over.....paved roads and camping area for 2 vehicles, nice bathrooms facilities, clean and heated. Staff friendly and helpful. Fishing avaliable. WFI was among best I have experienced camping with good cable TV. Beautiful area.

Great park and very responsive staff. Lots of room for our motor home and vehicle. Very family friendly with lots of events for children. Loved the trick or treating the kids did Saturday night, especially since we don’t have little ones anymore. Already made our reservation for next year. Camped with

We stayed here in May and my rating was a 10. This was a second stay and it was disappointing. When we arrived the cable box was dismantled. The sewer cap did not screw on our hose so the guy there brought a rock to lay on it. It was unsanitary. The WiFi non-existent. Needed it to look up where to go. Once we drove up to office we could get a signal. great location but above was disappointing.

Check in was at 4pm. The desk clerk said our cabin was ready. When we went to cabin the cabin had not yet been cleaned. When we arrived back at 7pm the room seemed clean. However I had to wipe down the toilet myself!! It had never been cleaned. There was unine under seat when lifted left from previous guest . Also one of the rooms had dirt on inside of sheets so I doubt they were changed. Not happ

Everything about our stay was great! The only exception being the cabin (260 I believe) behind our spot (377) was a bit close. The renters had to park directly behind our camper and walk almost through our campsite. I know some sites can be small and leave little room for privacy yet I wonder if there is another solution to this particular cabin. Possibly move the parkin spot to the other side.

Loved our stay. Beautiful area and very friendly staff. Only thing I was very disappointed in was closing the indoor pool for the Halloween events. When someone only stays the weekend usually they enjoy the pool or hot tub on Saturday. The main reason I booked this koa was for the indoor pool and we weren't able to use it. The events weren't even blocking the pool entrance so I'm not sure why

Phone service is poor. Needed to change my reservation which cannot be done online. Tried several times and 20-30 minutes on hold required to get through. Needed assistance on site twice, once for campground sewer blockage and once for cable. Phone option 2 for assistance on site doesn't work, just takes you back to menu. Back to reservation line for 20 minute hold. Internet service spotty.

Had a good time, campground was fine, clean, friendly staff. One very minor complaint, the four days we were there the dog poop bag supply container was empty.

We love the area. We’re able to see elk (a whole herd) and enjoyed the beauty all around! The campground was very crowded with sites a little too close together for us.. We are not fans of all the ghost/skeletons/ spiders and webs/ graveyard scenes/ witches etc. and this campground was full of it! Why not just decorate with A more peaceful harvest theme???

My card was charged multiple times without my approval. My card was charged for 3 cabins even though we clicked pay a different way at check in, it was still charged. The office staff was rude. I am a returning guest to this koa and it was an awful experience this time.

What a WONDERFUL experience! The campground was beautiful - surrounded by running streams! Its a beautiful location surrounded by amazing views just moments away. We hiked several of the trails in the Smokey's and WOW...just WOW!! Will will definitely be coming again!

were do i start. i payed for an upgreaded cabin heres what i got no frig no tv. no where to get water no parking. faceing the back of everyone eles no where for the kids to play but in the creek. had to walk though othere ppl camping place to get to mine. it was the worst place ever and i could have stayed in a hotel for way less money.

It’s always great. Disappointed that there is a minimum night stay. That makes it hard for families who can’t pull kids out of class. So you end up paying for nights you Can’t use

My parents and my family stayed at Cherokee KOA this past weekend. The customer service in the store was lacking. On several occasions they were quite frankly rude. Something needs to be done about the WIFI. I understand that this is "camping" but not being able to even make a phone call was a problem as my husband and I work remotely.

Loved our stay! Hard to leave! The staff were all so kind!!! Love that this KOA supports children w childhood cancer. This coming from a mom that had two children with childhood cancer. Thank God they are both married now and one has a baby! I know doing this sort of fun thing for these kids is wonderful! They can feel normal and have fun! Thank you again for doing this! We usually love the KOA, but this time was different. We chose a cabin with a pull out bed, and when we took the cushions off there was dog hair and children shorts in the couch. The mattress protector was filthy.We had to wash all of the dishes before we use them because they were covered in food or dirt. My son got up Saturday morning and had a flea on his neck. I enjoyed the campground and all the activities very much. The only complaint I have is the sofa bed in the deluxe cabins. The mattress is awful and all you can feel is the bed framing(tubing) and the sleep is very difficult.

Site 277 was dirty. Sewer hookup design was awful requiring 2 hoses to reach. Ridiculous to have to pay extra to lock in that site.

Please stop forcing 3 and 4 day weekend reservations. This is already one of the most expensive KOA properties listed. Yes, they offer alot and I agree they should charge. But when its impossible for working families to make reservations, because some weekends are up to a yr in advance. Not everyone has the luxury of just taking days off.

We absolutely love KOA Cherokee.. I do wish your bathrooms would be more handicap ( Wheelchair)accessible With grab bars I had to wheel my dad, in his wheelchair Down to the 3rd bathroom in the park. that was kinda sad.. You do have a family bathroom up by the pool but it does not have any grab bars in it.. That's a simple fix and would mean a lot. Look forward to our next camping trip

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
