The only complaint is checking in to smaller cabins 4:00 o’clock is to late and the speed of getting them ready could tighten up otherwise it is always good

We love everything about this KOA. The only thing I can say is our heater didn’t work in the bathroom or living room. It was pretty cold our last day there. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

The staff checking in/Out were wonderful. Very polite and cheerful personnel, i enjoyed speaking with them every time i went in to get firewood or supplies.

The cabins were well equipped and beautiful! The campground was well maintained and being able to hear the river while sleeping was soothing! Only complaint is the ceiling fan needed severe dusting along with area behind bed. That aside it was very clean, well equipped and a real treat to stay! Will book again! We had the really nice cabins by the water!

We were given a terrible site which we then went in and upgraded, and received a nice site which I paid for the upgrade. Then went back into the office to question whether or not I received my KOA discount on the upgrade where I was talked AT, not with. She only pointed to the screen repeatedly and said the same things over and over. When I tried to explain why I thought I didn't, I just got ta

We were very tired from our long drive. Pleasant staff gave us a nice site to rest overnight on our journey. we appreciated a site by the creek.

The cabin and grounds were nice & clean. Check-in was slightly frustrating as our cabin was not ready until 4:30, but Sarah was friendly and once she received confirmation that it was ready, she was quick to get our check-in completed.

The staff was very rude and completely unconcerned with this many issues I was facing. The cabin thermostat had to be adjusted every hour in order for the cabin to be heated or it would stay off, ants infested both my cabin and my sisters cabin. I finally gave up on this place and moved to Harrah’s for the last 2 days of my birthday trip. This place used to be much better than this!

The sites on the outer edge and towards the back were not kept up and not up to KOA standards for we have stayed in many KOA's. Overpriced for these sites. Middle of the campground looked like a true KOA but still overpriced. Charging for a full tank of propane when only half empty is STEALING. Do you pay for a whole tank of gasoline when only needing half a tank? Very, very disappointed!!!!

Over all the Camp Ground is pleasurable to stay. There are some areas that need to be addressed. Our picnic table had a large hole in it. The staff was pleasant and very helpful.

We visit koa cherokee a half dozen times per year +/-. Always a pleasure.

We had another fabulous trip! We did feel bad for the KOA staff after a very rude couple in a red and black beacon fifth wheel gave them a very hard time. This couple was very rude, had just parked in a spot that was not theirs but was extreme rude to the staff. The KOA lady handled it very calmly and professionally.

NO WIFI connection and when I told the front desk, I was told its a known issue and suggested I sit out on their front porch chair to use the internet so I can work/study. What is the point of having a cabin rental if I am going to sit out on an uncovered porch. Had to go to Cherokee and sit indoors somewhere to complete my work while I just paid to sleep in the cabin. Very disappointed!!!

I would have rated it 4 or 5, but there was too much construction projects going on and for three days never saw anybody working on them, my child’s spring break starts on the 8th, but met several campers with kids already on theirs, regardless we love this KOA has everything for the entire family, hopefully the rest of the Camp grounds will be open by summer

We stayed in a deluxe cabin like we usually do and my kids had a outstanding time as usual! We love to fish and the KOA is a great place for it!

We were placed in front of the night manager who had a dog that he kept tied to his picnic table on his lot which is fine but he never picked up its waist and unbeknownst to me I ended up getting it all over my shoes trying to get my camper hooked up for departure. Also it would be great to see the fishing geared more towards the kids . Keep one pond for kids only during tournaments please

The door on the toilet stall in the bathroom closes to our site was not properly secured. it is ready to fall off. If it does it can hurt someone since it is so heavy. The showers so not have enough hooks or seats in all the stalls. Makes it very difficult to keep close dry and clean.

The park was beautiful and well kept. The staff was beyond amazing. The ladies working the desk became our friends and the grounds man Drew was extremely helpful. We ran into an issuer where we had to move from our pop up to a cabin after hours and the manager Rachel was more than willing to accommodate us. We will definitely be back!

Loved the area. Staff is excellent, responsive and friendly. Some negatives were: Our site was next to a bathroom on the other side of the fence by the main road. The garbage truck arrived early each morning and made tremendous noise lifting the dumpster. Also, we were there for opening day for fishing season and people gathered near our camp site, talking loudly, at 3:00 am.

It wasn't great. That rule about 2 vehicles per site? Max number of people? There were 10+ people and 3 vehicles at the site next to us. Not great. Also, the sewer access was missing the cap. Wonderful site in nature next to the river? Forget that, we had a lake right under our trailer as the site was flooded. The staff were friendly enough, and the kids liked the bouncy thing, I guess.

High cost and none of the Benefits of a KOA. Staff was nice, facility although under repair will still be old and worn out. Trash all along perimeter fencing. The bath house was clean. All the KOA's office/store close at 5pm - in this instance there is nothing else in the vicinity. Very disappointing,

We love Cherokee KOA. We come up every spring break. Great location and the staff is the best. Making lots of improvements, we can't wait to come back and see them.

I really like the campground at whole but the whole campground is in need of a lot of TLC. One of the bathroom did not have hot water and a number of the shower head was about ready to fall of the wall. And a lot of the picnic table needs sanding and painting. The maintenance guys need to step up and do a little bit more to make it better for the campers fell like coming back. Need to check review

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
