The only complaint is checking in to smaller cabins 4:00 o’clock is to late and the speed of getting them ready could tighten up otherwise it is always good

We love everything about this KOA. The only thing I can say is our heater didn’t work in the bathroom or living room. It was pretty cold our last day there. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

The staff checking in/Out were wonderful. Very polite and cheerful personnel, i enjoyed speaking with them every time i went in to get firewood or supplies.

The cabins were well equipped and beautiful! The campground was well maintained and being able to hear the river while sleeping was soothing! Only complaint is the ceiling fan needed severe dusting along with area behind bed. That aside it was very clean, well equipped and a real treat to stay! Will book again! We had the really nice cabins by the water!

The cabin and grounds were nice & clean. Check-in was slightly frustrating as our cabin was not ready until 4:30, but Sarah was friendly and once she received confirmation that it was ready, she was quick to get our check-in completed.

The staff was very rude and completely unconcerned with this many issues I was facing. The cabin thermostat had to be adjusted every hour in order for the cabin to be heated or it would stay off, ants infested both my cabin and my sisters cabin. I finally gave up on this place and moved to Harrah’s for the last 2 days of my birthday trip. This place used to be much better than this!

NO WIFI connection and when I told the front desk, I was told its a known issue and suggested I sit out on their front porch chair to use the internet so I can work/study. What is the point of having a cabin rental if I am going to sit out on an uncovered porch. Had to go to Cherokee and sit indoors somewhere to complete my work while I just paid to sleep in the cabin. Very disappointed!!!

We stayed in a deluxe cabin like we usually do and my kids had a outstanding time as usual! We love to fish and the KOA is a great place for it!

The park was beautiful and well kept. The staff was beyond amazing. The ladies working the desk became our friends and the grounds man Drew was extremely helpful. We ran into an issuer where we had to move from our pop up to a cabin after hours and the manager Rachel was more than willing to accommodate us. We will definitely be back!

I really like the campground at whole but the whole campground is in need of a lot of TLC. One of the bathroom did not have hot water and a number of the shower head was about ready to fall of the wall. And a lot of the picnic table needs sanding and painting. The maintenance guys need to step up and do a little bit more to make it better for the campers fell like coming back. Need to check review

Really loved the deluxe cabin. Great location. Loved that it was pet friendly and had a doggy playground. Will stay there again if I’m in the area.

We had booked 2 cabins 240 241 in Aug 2021 for opening day of trout season and you check in till 4pm Cabin 240 smelled of cat urine I went to the office to tell manager Rachel and asked her to come smell it and she frefused This cut my story off It was 8:30 till we got in the cabin my email is [email protected] if you want more info on this 241 has roaches I called the law for she was aggre

Overall a very nice place stay. Only complaint is bath houses with not very clean and toilets didn’t work or clogged/dirty and hot water wasn’t very hot but in one bath house.

Everything was great except we had ask for cabins that were side by side. When we made the reservation we were told when had the cabins we had ask for. Then when we checked in they had separated us with a cabin between us. We were in the deluxe cabins did not have enough washcloth for our stay for 3 days. We were given 4 washclothes 4 people for 3days .You don't want to use the same washcloth.

Water leak at site 377 left us dealing with a constant mud hole. Absolutely no water pressure or hot water in either shower house in spite of time of day. Overall average stay. Nothing spectacular. We have 40+ people in our party yearly. Most previous issues remain. We love the campground overall although customer service and hospitality can be lacking. Seems like staff is unprepared for events.

Unit was very dirty. Animal hair was everywhere, You should offer pet free units for people who don't like having animals inside of a living quarters. No one would answer the phone at the check in station. TV remote was missing and had to have a new TV installed.

We love staying here! We always stay in a camping cabin for the opening day of trout fishing and the big tournament. Always a great time! Can’t wait till next year.

We arrived late and was met by Patricia on the grounds while looking for our Kabin. She helped us locate our Kabin and even found us some firewood so we could enjoy a nice fire by the river after a long days drive. Thank you

Early in season and was under some construction so hard to rate. Certainly a fantastic location and views. Can tell that they are working on some updates of their cabin areas which was appreciated. Will definitely be back.

This was our second time staying at this KOA location. We love the staff, the deluxe cabins, & waking up to the sound of the river. It’s the perfect place to get away and relax. My kids (9 & 14) have had a great time both times we’ve stayed and we’re already planning our next trip.

We loved seeing all the new changes taking place at our favorite KOA!! The weather was perfect!!We stayed in a deluxe cabin and cannot wait to come back in May and bring our camper. As usual, we love seeing JoAnn P. with her smiling face and incredible personality. Rachel G. has quite the team at the Cherokee/Great Smokies KOA!!

I was a little disappointed with my stay as my son and I was coming in to enjoy his spring break. Of course we knew about the pool being down for remodeling but found out 2 days before we couldn't fish. Also the jumping pillow was down most of our stay. Would love to give it another chance in the future, hopefully when we can enjoy the amenities I paid for but didn't get to enjoy.

Toilet kept getting clogged. Ants every where on the tablet. Very strong odor in the bedroom and bathroom.

Unfortunately our cabin had mold on the pocket doors & board above the little sink in "kitchen" area. We also had ants everywhere, even in the bed, that I'm sure we're the reason for the bites on my one year old son. Told office of the mold & they said they would send someone to clean it but they never did. Forgot to mention the ants during our checkout. Cabin was cold, heat didn't work well.

No water in cabin deluxe when we arrived. Maintenance fixed 2hours later . Next morning no water again . Pipes frozen. Heat not sufficient for cabin size . Had to buy two small space heaters to help. Was told by office our campground isn’t set up for these temperatures, well maybe they should close in the winter. I’ve stayed at plenty of koa in winter time . In much colder climates (pa, NY)

Hi, we rented a deluxe cabin, we didn’t know the check in time for the cabin till the day of & we already in Cherokee, we had small children with us, & all we wanted to do was to drop off our bags in the car into the cabin, it was around 2:00pm which is 2 hours before check in time for delux cabin. We asked & the housekeep woman that was covering the front desk told us NO check is at 4:00. Call

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
