We really love this KOA and stay every year. The update in the bathrooms is great. Our only problem is connectivity. This year the WiFi was down 5 out of the 10 days we were there. As ATT is non existent in the area, our only means of communication with each other and our family is wifi calling. A more robust system is really needed in this day and age esp with so many people working remotely.

Think it’s a shame that can’t check into the place until 4 in the evening. Feel like y’all need get rid the kids playing games and get adults working at earlier time to be able to get coustmers in at a sooner time. Witnesses several of y’all employees goofing off or playing for long distance of time instead of doing there jobs cleaning cabins for the next person.

Great KOA. Family oriented. Only one issue. Shower/Restrooms need major cleaning/disinfectant throughout. Maybe cleaned several times daily.

We are rookie RVers and have just purchased a used RV. From beginning to end, our time at the Cherokee campground was positive, The staff were friendly and accommodating. The grounds were well kept. Our check-in and check-out was easy. The hook-up was easy. For the campground itself, it was very family friendly with many amenities. We were very happy with our choice to stay at Cherokee KOA!

Staff in office. Rude. Unfriendly. Staff on golf carts no smiles no waves, nothing. Dog park filled with dog crap. No bags the entire stay. Large piles everywhere. Disgusting! So many people wirh 4 or more large dogs. Motorcycles making noise past midnight! We paid for a premium lot, 146 right on top neighbors sewer. 3 feet between us. Multiple cars per site parked everywhere! Avoid this place.

It was very good. We had a good time with a long time friend next to us. We've made reservations for next year in hopes of catching the fall colors a week later next year. The price is a little bit on the high side. The price on the firewood is especially too high also. The internet connection is horrible and this is my biggest complaint. Otherwise, it's a great campground.

The stay Was great. The only problem was that the Wi-Fi did not work all the time. It is time to replace the mattresses.

Rented 2 cabins... A deluxe for my parents and a basic for myself, boyfriend and dog. Second year bringing my parents to your place and will keep bringing them as long as they can make the trip! Facilities are beautiful, staff are friendly and helpful and the pond is stocked! (The beds/mattresses could use some attention) Thanks for another great year of memories!

Fall is my favorite time of the year, & this year we decided to stay at the KOA Holiday, in the beautiful Cherokee Smoky Mountains. Beautiful Fall colors & we enjoyed our stay this KOA campground.

Great camp! Friendly staff, BUSY place. FUN place. 1 irritation: Option 2 (to reach staff) on phone tree doesn't work. Staff said "Been like that forever. Call the after hours number." Uh, here's an idea: Fix it. OR change the recording to say "To reach local staff, please call xxx-xxx-xxxx." Just doesn't make sense for a highly organized well-run camp to have this inconvenient glitch.

The campground and facilities were great and it had a load of stuff for kids to do. The staff on the other hand were not very friendly and knowledgeable about what was going on. The wifi didn’t work for the first two days and sparingly started working the third day. I ask the staff a few times about activities for kids and they just said we don’t know what they are.

My arrival was not the best knowing I was going to arrive late and it was going to be cold I requested firewood to be delivered to my site. When we arrived not only was there no firewood but the cabin was not clean, a tobacco spit cup was left in one of the window seals and spilled on the bed. Plus the cabin was missing curtians and it would have been nice to know there was no heat in the cabin.

This campsite is great! As a retired couple, we appreciated the bigger size of the campsite and the ease of moving our camper in and out of the site. We enjoyed the many ponds within walking distance of our site. There’s a lot to keep the kids busy, as well. There’s an indoor pool and kids were enjoying just safely riding their bike around the park. We will definitely be back.

Overall great time would definitely recommend to friends ….. $9 firewood on the other hand is a little outrageous and nobody is ever at the concession stand.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. My parents had an issue with their cabin and Rachael the manager went above and beyond to fix it. The grounds were clean and maintained. We had the best time and Will hopefully come back again! We have already recommended this campground to several family and friends!

Complaint:Upgraded to have fridge and tv. The tv did not have a remote control. Called and attempted to fix the situation after four remote controls unable to get one to work. Compliment: Reservation staff went above and beyond to ensure my parents cabins was nearby. Thanks.

Had wifi at site first 3 days. Had to go to office the last 2 days. Kids are allowed to play unsupervised at playground until after 11:00. Very noisy.

We were told that our cabin was on a creek we were not. There was a cabin behind us that was on a creek. we were unable to use the bathroom sick because the drain stopper would not go up to drain the water, brushed our teeth in the kitchen sink. The pool area needs a lot of work. Everything about the area was beautiful

Well kept. Excellent Halloween decorations! Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Only negative, The premium pull through site we had, had very little privacy and close to our neighbors. Would have been better spread out. Had a good stay.

Loved the Halloween decorations and festivities! JoAnne in registration is awesome, makes you feel so welcome! Our grands had blast, such a kid welcoming campground!!

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
