We enjoyed our stay. But the office staff were about as hateful and worthless as I have ever seen. They would not try to accommodate a change that we needed. They were short and rude to us. Acted like we were idiots.

We had a blast. The haunted house was amazing. My kid's met some other kid's at the playground. And the all played well. It's amazing how friendly everyone was.

I booked a full-hook-up site - the ladies in the office were very rude - they put me in a mud-hole with shared water, of which the other guy had his hose, the only way for water would be to unhook him - also there was NO dump - back to the office - the lady told me that all the empty sites closer to the shower house and pool were already booked by paying customers????? what the ---- am I?????

The staff are extremely dedicated and hard working! You can tell that blood, sweat, and tears go into making this campground run at a 5 star level. This was our first experience with any KOA and we are hooked. Campground is well maintained, has wonderful amenities, and seasonal programs were super fun! Again, thank you to the hardworking staff for everything you do!

Good to see improvements were made to laundry facilities and bath houses. Bath houses still need hooks and shelves in them to place items you don't want to get wet when showering.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The campsite was clean and had enough room for 4 adults. Our site was very close to a main road, so it was noisy in the early morning from the trucks and cars.

We were stranded at the cabin due to car issues. Asked employee of we could get a jump and she said the maintenance man will come. She was suppose to tell him. We member saw either one and we ended up having a tow truck come. It would have been nice if we had gotten help.

Camp was well maintained. Scenic views along the river. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Only improvement I would suggest is better maintenance in public bathrooms.

I loved this koa. People gentle and helpful. Enjoyed walking around and really quiet at night. But! The bathroom was a little dirty. Other than that I really liked it

Love this KOA. The only constructive criticism I will pass along is having a better check in/ store personal check out system. Usually long lines, and takes a while. Honestly, other then that we truly love this place

As always we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only a few issues with the cabin - only one burner on stove worked (knob was broken off the other), very limited pots/pans and dishes. Outside grill would not ignite and we had to use matches to light. We had 3 people staying in the cabin and there were only enough towels/washcloths for 2 people.

Everything we needed in the cabin was thought thru and provided, and it was very clean. The campground is run very efficiently. All the extras like firepit, Halloween decorations, movie/popcorn, bouncy place for kids, etc makes the guests enjoy the place. I would love to have our grandkids visit some day. Thanks for the enjoyable stay!

I really enjoyed the campground and location. We had a very nice weekend with family at 3 sites. The only issue was rude staff in the office. When checking in was treated as if I was too slow to understand as she wrote all over my map. When going up for propane was kept waiting with very limited staff in the morning. I will return some day but didn't appreciate the staff.

Very large spaces. Great staff escorted us to our spot brought firewood and we're very accommodating. Will be back again.

Beautiful veiws, nice sites, Halloween activities and movie to watch. Wonderful but price tag was ridiculous. We pulled our TT 500 miles. After gas and site rent. We really could have stayed in a very comfortable cabin. Our next trip camper stays home Again employees and veiw were great.

We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was great! We found the bathrooms to not be as clean as other campgrounds we have stayed at…but overall really liked Cherokee KOA

We loved the activities for Halloween and the clean facilities. We did have some confusion the 1st night as I’d rented a 30/50 amp site for our 30 amp camper, only to find that there was only one 30 amp connection shared between our site and the site next to us (and it was taken by the other rig). We had to boondock the 1st night, but Jimmy came to the rescue with a converter! He made our weeken

I had heard great things about your campground and our stay exceeded even those expectations. My kids, ages 2 and 4, had a blast and I was pleasantly shocked at all the fall activities! We’ll be back, for sure.

The only issue we had was our neighbors on the next tent site over. They we using very foul language, discussing very adult matters/situations and actions, that was inappropriate for children to hear. My teenager was complaining about the foul language and I can only hope that my kids, or even their own children, did not understand their inappropriate conversations. Other than that, it was great!

Only complaint is the website needs to be updated to say shuttle service is suspended. We chose there because of shuttle service and were told by staff that they have asked many times for it to be updated and nothing has happened.

We had a great time! We loved the location for sightseeing and the fact that it is right up the road from The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

I would return but the attendants at the “check in” desks are rude, crude and socially unattractive due to the prude behavior. I was looking forward to our stay and upon the attitude from attendant, it dampened my spirits immediately. A little less attitude at the desk would be most appreciated. This was my first visit to this KOA and potentially my last.

My husband and I always have a great time together. Your facilities were dirty and unkept. Your prices outrageous and wifi unusable. We will not be returning in the future.

We had a great week with you guys!!! The sites are large enough for our 42 footer. The only thing we would like to see would be more lights. It gets extremely dark early, but the kiddos still want to be out playing. Very nice campground! The Halloween decorations were great!!

Overall good location. Friendly helpful staff and well maintained grounds. However they really need to step up cleaning the bathrooms. I am positive that they only cleaned a couple times the whole week. Not enough!!!

We had a great stay at the campground. We stayed in the Deluxe cabin and it was very nice inside. The cabin was clean and we were surprised to find out we had a cabin right on the river. The staff was great and we would definitely return for another stay. My one suggestion would be to have more events for Friday guests. They had a number of things for Saturday but we were leaving on Saturday.

The view was absolutely amazing. The campsite was fantastic. Great get away for my boyfriend and I except two things. The staff was rude and impatient with everyone. I did not appreciate their attitude towards me or other people I saw them interact and talk to. My second thing is the power went out for about 6 hours. One of the staff shrugged when I asked how long it would be then ignored me.

Only thing that I have issue with is how often the bathrooms were cleaned, the men's room closest to the office looks and smelled like a toilet had overflowed recently and wasn't cleaned our entire trip.

This was the first time my wife and I have stayed at a KOA and could not have enjoyed our stay any better. We had such a great time we plan on coming back up to stay very soon.

We chose this KOA because of its location to the attractions in Cherokee and Gatlinburg. We had a large tent that did not fit on the designated pad. We were able to pitch it adjacent. The deck was nice as was the fire pit area. Bear proof storage was nice and convenient. Staff we're nice and knowledgeable. Down side of tent site was near a highway. Bathrooms not cleaned the last 4 days of stay.

I personally did not like the Kabin we were in.(386) It is in the back of the campground. The road is adjacent the site and two of the three days we were there the tree trimmers/tree removal folks were busy. It was LOUD. Also ordinary traffic on the road is loud. I also think the Kabin could use a good cleaning. The Windows have mold growth. No one opens the blinds apparently.

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
