We stayed in cabin 505. The floor was filthy and so were the towels and wash clothes. No activities during weekdays. Beautiful scenery and was nicely decorated for Halloween. Very limited dishes and no frying pan in room. I cut my stay short and was grateful for a refund for days not staying.

Bathrooms were dirty. The electric connection designated for our site had tape around it and was not 30 amp as we had requested so we had to use one for the adjacent vacant site. The rv site facilities were below average (large drop-off at edge of asphalt, missing and uneven pavers at picnic area)

My Kabin had NOT been cleaned before being assigned to me. I didn’t arrive early. It was after 4:00 pm. I went to the office and the situation was remedied and I was given a KOA gift card for my inconvenience. Otherwise my stay here was good.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was the first KOA we have ever visited. The indoor pool and hot tub were awesome. Staff was very nice. The cabin was nice,but the floors were filthy. It would turn you socks black if you didn't keep your shoes on. Also, the bathrooms were nice, but again not cleaned while we were there. Floors were not swept or mopped. It also looked like showers were neglected.

It was peaceful. The cabin was spotless and comfortable. Overlooking the river was the biggest calling card. That and the fact that my dogs can join me for a rest.

Our stay was awesome!!! The deluxe cabin was worth it! Enjoyed sitting by the river daily and nightly with the fire pit ��

The lady at the front desk was by far one of the rudest people I’ve ever seen work at a KOA!

Bathrooms were filthy. Black puddles of water on the tile floors. Smelled really really bad. Showers were pretty gross too. Mine had someone’s chewing tobacco on the floor. Told the desk twice. Shame its a nice area.

Good location. WiFi worked. Sites were tight for camper. Bathrooms were not cleaned. Two ladies checked us in and out. One was kind. The other lady was consistently rude and abrasive not only to each of us at different times but to other campers in line. We had to draw straws to see who was going to go in and ask for an additional night. Lol… but seriously. Overall, good camping experience.

Absolutely beautiful KOA!! Perfect location. So much to see and do in the area and in the campground itself. Loved stay in the deluxe cabin with a deck that was right on the water!! Will be back!!

We Used to love this place before 2019 but sadly managment here has degraded to the point that staying here is unenjoyable.

The info on the website and the call we made prior to the visit didn't match the activity agenda. The fishing tournament was only Friday and we were told fri and sat. We were told there was no trick or treating around campsite so no need to bring stuff. Wrong, there was trick or treating.

We stayed for 3 nights and was able to participate in the Halloween fun and get some quiet peaceful time. It was a great weekend!

Enjoyed how campground was decorated for Halloween; children's activities were terrific. Did not enjoy our campsite. So much mud, little to no rock to walk on; our camper was filthy from it. An EMPLOYEE at the end of our loop had a small dog that barked incessantly and woke us up at 6:00am all three days of our visit! Couldn't sit outside, had to leave to get away from awful nonstop barking.

Wifi was spotty and the guest service lines at the front desk took too long. Other than that a great place and great location. Will come back.

The only "issue" would be the bathrooms. They were not alway clean and out of the 4 main showers in the bathhouse...only one had a shower rack that was not broken to put your shampoo and other items on. Other then that it was a nice KOA and offered many fun events.

Great camp store. The inability to make reservations for next year is a major problem, not enough office staff to meet the needs of campers. The maintenance of the cabins is lacking.

We love Cherokee KOA. Only issues we had was some of the employees in the office don't have much of a personality. Since they are the face of Cherokee KOA I think some of them need to smile more and be a little more cordial to the guests.

Toward the end of our stay, there was a Chow Chow reunion going on. They were some of the rudest people we have ever seen. Blocking the road when we were trying to leave with the camper, loud after midnight, not cleaning up after the dogs, using foul language very loud. This campground is a wonderful place for kids with lots for them to do. We will be back, but it won't be in early October

Screen door needs repair, bathroom door needs repair, furniture is very uncomfortable. Not enough cups or glasses in kitchen.

I was taken back by the mask mandate inside buildings in Cherokee. I feel that my civil rights and liberties were being fringed upon. With that said, instead of us spending any money in Cherokee, we opted to drive to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, Tennessee everyday, to spend our money, including gas. . . what a loss for your economy. . but we did love Jimmy, he was great!

Best KOA I stayed at this year. Until internet quit working. Just another campground with crappy internet. It is 2021 and no excuse. Invest in reliable internet. People want to share their experiences online with family and friends. Yours was good until it quit. The outage lasted all night. Could not enjoy a football game which is what we like to do to relax in the evening after sight seeeing.

Had a great long weekend and loved everything about the campground. Tracy in the office helped me with a future reservation and could not have been nicer or more helpful. Can’t wait to return in the spring.

Window a/c units were very moldy. We could not use them because of the smell. They need to be replaced.

We loved it! We especially appreciated the Halloween activities for the children (such as the hayride and the trick-or-treating). The campground was quite and peaceful.

We love this campground and have visited multiple times. However, The amount of dust under the beds in our cabin was very extensive and my son had an asthma attack due to the dust. I would prefer that floors in full be cleaned in-between renters and they definitely need more than the pathway sweep that was completed.

We had a great time! Our grandson really enjoyed the jumping pillow & the checker board. We were disappointed that the Campfire Grill was closed during the days we were there, but we couldn't get a cabin for the weekend. We will be back!

The Halloween festivities and activities were top notch. The KOA staff were wonderful. The campground itself was super impressive- clean, well run, thoughtful touches. However, the tent campsite we had was awful. Right by a road, port-a-potty, and very small- no privacy whatever to boot. We ended up leaving because it was too noisy (and smelly) to sleep. We'll come back- but only in a cabin!

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
