We love it!!! It’s so relaxing and all staffs are so friendly!!!! We will definitely come back and stay at deluxe cabin soon!! We will bring our friends to hang out with us soon.

After arriving at 4pm we were told the rustic cabin 13 was still being cleaned at 4pm. They stated would let us know when its ready. I informed Sherry/Joann that every minute past 4 I expected a discount because there is nothing to clean in a rustic camping cabin. I can sweep it myself in 2 minutes and I let them know that. Poor customer service. We were alowed to check in well after 4pm.

We booked a cabin for three nights over Labor Day weekend. The first night there were issues. I went early the next morning before the office opened and met Jimmy. I explained what was going on. Then, once the office opened I explained to them as well. The whole staff was helpful. Jimmy went above and beyond making sure we were happy and still having fun. Everyone was very accommodating.

Very pleasant stay. The cabin was clean, staff extremely friendly, fishing was good. You have to love cooking trout you just pulled out of the river. Close to Cherokee and other attractions. Made money at the casino. What else could you ask for? Plan to bring the grandkids on the next visit.

the campground was empty and still they put us 1 block away from the bathrooms,, which there was only 1in the 0-150 area and they put us behind another camper with 4 dogs that barked the whole time , we left 2 nights early because our family could not get any sleep, Rachel the manager does not really know what is going on in the campground, there are employees riding around doing nothing trash out

Campground.was great but our site wasn't. It was over bu river, with alot and of people a d smells. Would go back but move away from river. Also very muddy

I like koa. Only reason why I gave it a 3 is because my cabin had bed bugs. It sucks! My family has bites all over us. I would ONLY stay at KOA if we brought our camper or if we are in a tent. Other then that..... there is alot of stuff to do for kids.

Just could not justify a "5". The park is certainly in need of some updating and repair. Perhaps forget all the halloween stuff and spend the money on landscapping. Getting to the dog park meant crossing through water and mud. We were parked next to a Harley rider who fired up his LOUD bike early and then had his friends show up for a ride. EVERYDAY!!. Not the parks fault though.

Cabin had lots of cobwebs inside. Didn't look like under the bed had been cleaned. We lost something and turned the lights out and looked for it, that's how we discovered it was not clean. We used a flash light. Would not let you check in till 4, because the cabins were being cleaned, they missed ours.

Staff was fabulous, sites are roomy and very well maintained. Bathroom showers are a bit on the small side more importantly clean. Convenient to all tourist attractions. What I liked most is that there is a beautiful river that runs along side of the campground and you are pretty much surrounded by the Smokey Mountains. So beautiful, peaceful and relaxing.

It did state that the campground was under construction but the campground could use some sporadically placed street lights so that when you are walking in the dark you can see the many puddles in the uneven streets. The campground was however decorated nicely for Halloween.

The cabin I rented had a gas grill on the patio. I had planned on using this to cook the majority of my meals. The grill worked Friday evening but would not light Saturday morning. I called the front desk to report this and was told that someone would be out to repair the grill. As of Sunday morning checkout, No one had shown up to fix the grill. I feel like I should get a partial refund.

There was no stay. We tried to cancel the reservation multiple times from the 2nd day after it was made, but management would not reply to emails, answer the phones, or return calls or texts. And KOA Corporate's only response was to "reach out to the site manager", who does not return emails, calls or texts, and doesn't answer the phone when you call their office.

Over all our stay was OK. we have been coming to the KOA for 35 years and this KOA today is not the KOA of the past. The men's restroom at the grill did not have paper towels in it the four days we were there and about half of the hand dryers in the restrooms in the last bathhouse in the back did not work.

Our cabin was not so clean- I thought I was getting river view and unfortunately all I could see was the area where people could gather at a fire pit. Would’ve liked more privacy-and a cleaner cabin.

Wonderful area, stayed as base camp for motorcycle riding the area! Loved the campground chicken! Came back on the 15th to her roosting on our camper door railing! Everyone we had contact with from staff was pleasant as well as very helpful! Especially the 2 that met us when we arrived after 9pm and helped us get into our site! Such treasures! See ya in 2 yrs God willing The Dillon's Vermont

I would give it a 5 star for the amenities and cleanliness of the park. We’ve been there a few times now. This time we had a problem with Joann at the front desk. First thing is the park was empty. I had to argue with her to upgrade us to a better cabin close by. Then she made us wait until 4 the last minute to check in even though the cabin was ready. Cleaning crew told us. Bad employee!

The bathroom smelled like urine. No batteries in remotes so we weren't able to have the bedroom fan on at night without the light staying on. Wall lights didn't work. Blanket for pullout couch smelled awful. Couch was very uncomfortable. I never received a response from my reply text regarding late arrival procedures. The staff at the cafe was very friendly. And the food was good.

Tent site very nice and clean. Bath house was not clean. Water pressure very low. Neighbors were up to at least 4 am and other neighbors fighting and screaming. Spent most of the night awake.

I absolutely love the Cherokee KOA. My only issue was the mattresses in our cabin. They were worn out and lumpy but the front desk told me they have mattresses on order but due to supply shortages they haven’t received them yet. Not a huge deal, we will definitely be coming back.

Camp ground was very clean, friendly people and easy to get in and out of. I am glad we chose the spot we had along the river, it was perfect for fishing right out our back door and gave us the (partially) secluded feel that we love when camping. We were talking about coming back before we even pulled out!

The sewer receptacle was not in a convenient place. Had to use 20 feet of sewer hose to connect.. never had to do that before. Site 277 has drainage issues. Also never had to share a water connection with another camper and we have been camping for over 20 years. Overall, the location was really neat and we really enjoyed our stay in the area.

Had a terrific time as usual. The only complaint which really isn’t. One of the showers is the women’s shower house 3 only has hot water and can scald you. It is the second one as you walk in. Other than that. Loved the site we were on. We’ll be back!

Everything was good, cabin overall it was a goos place to stay but the only thing we didnt like it was the way the did the cleaning, we found a spider on the queen size bed pillows. That shows me that they didnt check it out good before we arrive there, and thats on the bed and i have proof of it, i have pictures of it...and im waiting for KOA to do some about it, cause its not safe for people..

My family and I have been camping here for about 34 years. We enjoy the Smokies, the beautiful mountains and streams and of course the trout fishing. Although there have been many changes, some good and some not so good, for the most part this is a nice place to camp. The employees are friendly and polite. We look forward to staying again. It's one of our family traditions to come here!

As far as the campground itself, everything was great. Cherokee, the town not so. We've been staying there the last 5 years.I do wish the grill would still be open, as nothing in town was. COVID.

Cabin was NOT as advertised!! It was not on raven fork river, it was on a dried up river bed !

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
