I loved the place. The only downside was the mattress. I woke up a little stiff.

There was a Wasp nest in the bench outside our cabin. Also never saw bathrooms near cabin K307 get cleaned, they were very dirty & smelly. Cabins very close together and no access to river unless you have a riverfront cabin.

There are lots of activities for kids but not as many for adults traveling without kids. A game room or pool table would be nice. General maintenance could be a bit better as some things like swings on cabins need repair. Also we were given keys to an occupied cabin upon checking.

There were bed bugs in our cabin, on our pillows and bags. We examined each item we brought, put in trash bags, and had to throw out hair brushes & some of our stuff due to them being in it! I have pictures to prove it. I reached out to this campground manager for a refund. No one seemed to care & did not call me back. Please refund my entire stay. There are 27 google reviews just like ours!

It was nice and peaceful and it was cold at night cause had no heater but I made it...thanks for the relaxation...

Really needed a place to stay was having problems with our RV Was treated like royalty everyone was willing to help Great people great place

Beautiful location. Close to Park. Sites crowded close. Bathrooms not clean and need total rework. Hot tub dirty. We were there after Labor Day and not very crowded which was good or we would have left. There does appear work is being completed- painting, .....too little. At least pull the dead landscaping by the indoor pool?

This was our second time at this campground. Kids love camping here. They especially loved the Halloween decorations.

For starters, I walked in the office to check in and was greeted by a staff member who was not wearing a mask that said “you need to wear a mask otherwise next time you come In here I won’t serve you” I think her name may have been Kathy? She wore glasses but I know her name started with a K. The men’s room in the bathhouse was converted to a laundromat, so the men had to use port o Johns

Very nice campground! Only thing I was disappointed in was no AC in the cabins, should take out the tv and install AC unit. I plan to stay again.

My stay was pretty good been going to koa for 30 years. What disappointed in was my son and family had bed bugs in their cabin. KOA did not handle it fairly.

Absolutely love the cement sites. Grounds and non-cement sites needed attention. Would recommend more detailed grounds maintenance.

It was fantastic as always, I would recommend some typeof table/countertop at the water faucets to clean and wash dishes

Most of the staff were friendly this time. There needs to be a little more housekeeping for the bathhouses, especially for a holiday weekend and a fishing tournament. Overall had a good weekend!

Another great Labor Day weekend camping trip with 25 plus friends. Already looking forward to next years trip back up to Cherokee.

The campground is really nice but the people in the office are extremely rude I thought it was a one time thing but every time I went in even just to buy something they were extremely rude and down right hateful! I do have another reservation but I will be checking to see if the same people are they and may cancel !

My experience with staff was pleasant, another couple staying with us had issues. The staff in the office were not overly friendly they were talking with each other but not much with customers. The maintenance staff was very friendly and attentive. The facility could use some upgrading the outdoor hot tub's jets did not work and it wasn't very clean. The pools and hot tubs were all cloudy.

Enjoyed the area and the layout of the campground. The pool area needed to be cleaned up and better customer services in the office would be a plus. I made reservations foe next year while I was there.

Overall we love the place. We did notice the bathrooms were not as clean this year as previous years. We also had a cabin with a broken light. It got really dark at night and it wouldn’t have been so bad if it hadn’t been the kids room. Staff did allow us to use their lantern which we appreciated

The cabin was clean. The services that are provided are very nice. Staff are super friendly and the delivery service for golf carts and firewood were especially appreciated. There was plenty of activities to do if you'd like, or you can sit back and relax either in a hammock or in a camping chair by the fire. We will be staying next year same time! Great first KOA experience.

We had a wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend. The staff were very attentive and helped in every way they could. Lots of activities. Loved the creek time with the grandkids. Their grill food was amazing!! Try the breakfast pizza. It is a great, fun place to stay!!!

Overall we had a great stay. A few constructive observations. There were several areas that were grown up and really needed weeding or weed eating. The motorcycles there were loud (as usual) and most other campgrounds have prohibited them. The ice cream area (that also took payment for store items purchased so you didn't have to stand in the registration line to pay) was rarely staffed.

Restrooms were dirty. We had an issue with the cable tv. Reported it twice. No one ever came. Staff not very friendly. Didn’t care for all the skeletons two months before Halloween. Ordered firewood. Two hours later I walked back to the store to get it. Tried to call the office but phone said option 2 was unavailable. We have seen a decline in staff morale andknowledge the last 3 years.

It was our first camping/cabin trip. Manager an employees were very great! Even helped us with parking. We loved our stay.

The park was generally run down. It did look like there were some improvements being made, but things like mowing and putting down gravel in muddy spots and general cleanliness were lacking. Some of the workers were friendly but others were not. I will probably look elsewhere when in the area again because some of the competition is about the same.

I stayed at this campground about 5 years ago, I would not have imagined this was the same campground we stayed at this past weekend. The grounds needed mowing and weed eating, the site we booked was for on the water, but there was a chain fence all along the back, no access to water. I called the office and asked specifically about this and no mention of fence. Campground map misleading.

I thought the campground had deteriorated from our last stay. The grounds needed mowing, there was a lot of trash laying around. There were several workers visible but did not seem to be working. I feel like there needs to be some improvements made to the ground maintenance.

Probably the best KOA we have been to. Great facilities and they worked with us to move from a spot we had our pop-up camper to a cabin when remnants of Hurricane Ida were coming thru.

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
