The heat in the cabin did not work correctly. The gas grill was missing a knob and the beds were a bit uncomfortable. My biggest issue was with one of the employees and her attitude. I do not know her name, however, she was not friendly or accommodating in any way. This is my groups 32 annual trip to this resort and we always have issues with the office and booking. Need better service.

cabin not as clean as before. No sheets for sofa sleeper. kitchen drawers were dirty and blinds were filthy, one was broken. Took sheets off beds and discovered main bed had been peed on. Not as top quality stay as before. they do make safety sheets that zip on and are washable. keeps beds clean and safe. can buy on line.

Very rude receptionist when i was asking for help. Very dusty behind TV and furniture. It needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Heater did not work but they did provide a electric heater.

We stay in the campsites quite often it’s always great. This time we stayed in the deluxe cabin and it was amazing. Very cozy and quiet. Very clean and comfortable as well. I would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat.

Reserved 3 loft cabins, 2 available at check-in. and the 3rd 45 minutes later. All cabins were clean and in great locations. The weather was cold, and heaters in two cabins could not heat the cabins. We were provided two small space heater that helped. Brandon with maintenance was quick to respond and assisted us, pleasure to talk with, great attitude. Overall good time, things happen

Always a great stay at the KOA in Cherokee and the trout fishing is the best I’ve ever experienced you never know what you’re gonna see for wildlife and we had a beaver come up to the cabin in the river great experience highly recommended

Excellent after hours process for check in. Housekeeping staff was so nice. Just need stronger heaters for the cabin that’s all. Love coming here many times each year. Perfect cost effective getaway!

Even though the weather was super cold the deluxe cabin was super warm inside and very comfortable I do look forward staying again very soon...

Based on my planned late arrival, I attempted to reach a real person at the site and was unsuccessful on multiple occasions. Additionally, although I completed the early check-in online based on an email request, my reservation was cancelled while I was en-route. Thanks to the site not being crowded and the signage about locating a site after hours and checking in the next day, the stay worked out

The problem I had was there was no heat in my cabin and my father had cancer and we frozen in there and call front office call never went through but everything else was okay and I paid a lot for a cabin that was supposed to have heat

Sherry check in person isn’t the most pleasant. The cabin itself we love but the couch sits very low making it hard to get up after just sitting much less sleeping on that awful mattress. The bed mattress in cabin 512 needs to be replaced due to it is very uneven and causes pain and I don’t have back issues after sleeping. The toilet is like a child toilet sitting very low.

We love this KOA! Staff is friendly and helpful, the campground has plenty to do for the little ones. We always get lodging on the Raven River, and the sound from the river just brings peace. It's always a relaxing get a way! Highly recommend this KOA!

The cabin was nice and clean when we arrived. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We love the location and can’t wait for our next visit! KOA Great Smoky Mountains ROCKS!

We had a great few relaxing days here! Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Cable was not working when we arrived, and they reconnected it immediately for us. Short drive into town and to the casino. Hot tub was nice and toasty! Being able to fish right on the property was nice as well. Also everyone who works here are very kind and helpful!

Pool/hot tub water was cold and the pool area was nasty. For what is charged per night employees could clean up common areas instead of racing each other around on golf carts. We will not be back after several visits, this was worst. If you are going to advertise staying connected with your wifi you could at least have wifi that works and employees that aren't so rude.

Stayed in a cozy cabin by myself. I was in one of the most remote areas of the campground near a beautiful stream. I had never camped in this area so it was a real treat. For 3 day I struggled to build a rip-roaring fire, only to be undermined by zero-2-no-wind. But that's another story. All the staff have always been most professional and friendly. Sent a email but had no response. We were booked for Cabin 507. We departed a day early. We were unable to stay any longer as the smell of propane from the fire pit was unbearable. We were getting headaches, nauseous and our eyes would burn while the fire was going. Besides the propane smell, the heater in the bathroom did not work. Fireplace sounded like a bomb going off every time it came on.

Our stay at the KOA was great except for 1 office/store employee who was very rude when we were in need of help. Upon our arrival I noticed while being in the office/store the same lady being talked to by a manager for being rude to customers of course not thinking anything of it until we experienced it first hand. I would unfortunately avoid staying here again only to avoid the unprofessionalism

We only stayed one night but cabin was great with a great view and we slept really well. The campground is pretty impressive with all the lots and activities to do. Sad we didn't get a chance to stay a little longer but glad we got to experience it!

We arrived early hoping to get in cabin to enjoy some downtime. Lady at front desk was rude. Arrived back at 4 only to have front desk to call housekeeping to make sure cabin was ready. Bed was too hard and wasn’t able to sleep. Toilet in bathroom was leaking and one was stopped up. Standing water and mud everywhere. People parked in middle of road

Been camping for 15 years never seen the service so bad and everything in the store coolers expired sodas etc.the change machine to do laundry broken. Another big problem no WIFI thru my entire stay 12 days pitiful Muddy everywhere it was a nightmare never again!!!

The lady in the office was rude to my hubby. Our neighbor drove off and forgot something on their campsite. My hubby took their equipment up to the office and the lady was mad about it and rudely told him to leave it at their site. She then refused to call the guy and tell him he checked out without his equipment. He’s going to need that when he goes to set up somewhere.

We left a day early. The hot water was nonexistent and the WiFi only worked for one of the six days we were there. We have three different cell phone carriers and the connection was very limited. The workers weren’t friendly. That being said, it was a holiday week and off season. I would imagine it’s a lot nicer during peak season.

We had a wonderful time. Our cabin was very clean and welcoming. The ladies at the front desk were polite and helpful. We will definitely go back.

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
