We have stayed at the Cherokee KOA a couple of times and it has always been a good experience. The upgraded bath houses are extremely nice. The office and store are clean and organized. If you want to explore the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and surrounding areas, I highly recommend this KOA

Great location. I've stayed here five previous times - and it was wonderful. Sorry to say that on this trip I was disappointed in the "Deluxe Cabin" that I rented. Gas fireplace never worked - KOA personnel told me the propane was likely out. Cannot recommend cabin #514 - worst location. Recommend that you get a cabin directly on the river. Best part of this campground is the KOA staff.

Stayed the week of 11/5/21-11/12/21. Nice clean and well kept grounds, leaves were obviously falling but when a rv was due to come in, KOA workers were there to make sure pads were clean. Also had indoor pool, if we had known we would have used. Needed propane a couple times, someone was always there to help. Nice creek that you could fish. Would stay there again.

Very beautiful setting! Cabins clean, easy to warm. Deck was amazing to sit on and watch river. Staff friendly and helpful. Cherokee was a great central location for areas we wanted to visit. Colors are unbelievable right now.

Great campground and super friendly staff. Even though they were doing some upgrades to the park, we found it very clean and super easy access to site. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

We had issues but they worked to resolve them immediately. This is our favorite campground and we can not wait to come back after winter, already have our reservations made for next year!

It was ok. We were quite disappointed that 4 of the nights we were there the pool was closed. I even asked the office and they assured me it would be open that day. We were turned away by the evening security. It is one of the reasons we chose that campground.

Our site was covered with leaves. Couldn't even see the concrete. All of the sites around us had been blown off. Other than that, it was all good.

Great spot and great time of the year to visit. All but one of the host was more than happy to work with you to make your visit the best. Highly recommend this KOA to everyone

Love the location - right in the Smokey Mtns, close to Bryson City, Deep Creek. Great area for hiking! Great customer service. - They helped us back the camper in. Daily curb side trash pick up. Love the ponds and the river. Clean bathrooms and individual showers with a door for privacy.

We were here for my cousins 50th birthday and it was awesome time with family and the weather was a little chilly. The only thing I would add is putting lights that go from door to fire pit, overall I give a ten

The campground was dressed out for the Halloween theme, which was the best we have every seen. The staff did an excellent job with the Haunted trail and all the fun stuff with the Halloween weekend. Friendly, clean, safe and fun....Thank you KOA and staff.

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
