We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It was clean and well equipped. The early November weather was quite chilly, but we were cozy and warm. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable but the sleeper sofa was a little lumpy. Bathroom nice and clean. Be prepared to keep your showers brief, as they are great caretakers of the environment, and avoid unnecessary waste. Lovely stay!

The campground itself was very nice. Unfortunately the women’s bathroom was not clean at all. Toilet paper laying on floor that had been there for a while, dust piled high on things and hair in showers that was definitely there for a while. Bathrooms need some work but other than that, it was nice

We enjoyed the fall colors surrounding the park. The KOA out did themselves with the Halloween decorations & activities ; however, we didn’t have any kids with us. The park was peaceful and the neighbors were very nice. The office staff were also very nice & helpful ! If you have children, I would definitely recommend you stay here. The playgrounds and safe atmosphere are a sure bonus !

I was surprised and disappointed to be charged a reservation fee, because I requested to be located near someone. Never have I paid extra, anywhere, to be located in a site near people I am camping with. Are you trying to discourage groups? And the site I was charged to be in was literally a mud pit. I don't understand why you still have unpaved sites.

Will not stay here again. The bathrooms were not serviced all weekend. No toilet paper from Saturday to Monday. Staff rides around on golf carts and that is about it. Two female employees literally parked their golf carts beside the bath house for 25 minutes and never even went inside. Played on there phones and then left. No one checks behind anyone! It's really sad - used to be our favorite KOA.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Cherokee/Great Smoky Mountain KOA. It is located in such a wonderful, beautiful setting!

I didn't see a way to hook cable up and i did not know when trash was picked up so we ended up with trash piled in our fireplace until we left

Have been telling everyone to go here. The second time we stay I am over charged by $85 dollars compared to online with staff only saying “I don’t go by what’s on your phone” then tell me the website is always correct. Well my website was telling me $85 dollars less. They could not explain&refused to honor that I had already paid in full $408 and proceeded to take an additional $85 dollars

We were able to upgrade upon arrival. The campgrounds are very well maintained. The holiday activities were plentiful and well managed. The playground is very unique and our grands loved it. The paved streets made it easy for us to walk behind the grands while they bicycled. The check in check out process was efficient. The store was well stocked. The site was level and large with shade.

The studio cabin was not what I thought I rented when I called. Mold on ceiling. Left article in cabin upon checkout and repeatedly tried to call back and could never get through. Decorations for Halloween better this year, overall cabin stay was disappointing. KOA workers drive too fast on golf carts, dangerous for children on bikes.

Very clean but booking is not efficient and hard to get the cabin you thought you were requesting. But staff is awesome!

Everything was great except for the cable TV, the last 3 times we have stayed the cable did not work and no one ever came to fix it. But as a whole the campground and employees were awesome!

We had a wonderful time at KOA Cherokee on Halloween Weekend... our second time to visit on Halloween. Would recommend this weekend to all. We have already made our reservations for next Halloween 2022.

We werent pleased with the service we received. ladies at the front desk were rude everytime. They couldn't find the key for gas firepit & our cabin didn't have a firepit so the kids were disappointed we couldn't have a fire.rented a golf cart for 2 days but had to wait til 3pm to pick it up & return it by 11am which isnt worth the price you pay! We will spend our money somewhere else next year!!!

The campground is nice. The staff is a little cold. Came in a 40 foot fifth wheel and never could get anyone on staff to escort us to our site. Trying to find our site and kids everywhere caused us to have an accident with our camper. Everything there is ridiculously expensive. We might go back at some point but not often.

The front staff were rude. The little cafe was advertised as open but wasn't open at all. the flyer that was given out on events very little happened. I paid a lot for a golf cart that I had several issues with. I ended up walking to the office several times to get help. As no one answered the phone and if they did they never came to help. I paid a lot to stay the weekend.. this is our last visit

Very nice campground, nice large sites and a friendly staff, spent 5 nights in October and great foliage,had some rain, but that's Mother Nature, we are camping again after a 10 year hiatus and not sure if we will visit this park again because we want to see the USA, but this is a good one.

Staff wasn’t as friendly as I remembered. The campground did not do a good job about informing campers of events. Less Halloween activities than usual. Bathrooms were dirty and not well stocked. I had to bring my own toilet paper with me to the bathhouse.

We had a pull through site and the firepit was located next to our neighbors septic hookup. Super stinky and the water hookup wasn't tight so the water was shooting out around the neighbors hookup area which was close to our outside table. Site was WAY overpriced, more than a local hotel room, for what we received. We won't be staying there again.

Had a great time. Sites are spacious and well maintained, restroom facilities are great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wish you would put shower caddies in the showers, no place to put soap/shampoo while I'm showering!

Great park easy check in cabin had everything you needed. Only complaint we ask twice for the fire pit to be started by the cabins and they never did it . Other then that we really enjoyed the campground.

We had a great spot near the river. the Camping was great. Staff was very helpful. Most of the campground was kept up nicely. However, our RV water heater went out and we had to use the campground bathrooms. I was disappointed in the lack of cleanliness of the bathrooms. The road to the campground was a little winding but our big rig (41 Feet) made it to the campground, but made it fine.

bad experience because of a neighboring camper, played loud music and were outside most of the night talking and drinking. We left a day and night early. We were disgusted that we couldn’t contact management to correct the situation.I texted and they were quite understanding and refunded our nights stay, whIch I didn’t expect. We would go back again, hoping not to get neighbors like them again

Excellent park the bathroom was even heated, wifi was not very good or reliable. The office shut it down at 6:pm WHY? BUT PARK WAS EASY entrance and really nice sites

Dog baggies were out at most stations. Our water faucet had a constant drip. Soap holders in most showers were broken or missing.

Actually a 4.5. Wonderful, well maintained, friendly efficient hard working staff. Premium cabin on Raven with kitchen/bath immaculate well equipped. Loved my stay so much stayed extra day. Lost half point because spa only had barely 2 working jets but think its a parts supply issue. Close to area attractions and nestled at edge GSNP I look forward to many returns Halloween great decorations

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
