Cabin wasn't ready on time, not stocked, employees aren't very friendly, no amenities, pool is closed for construction which I understand but the bounce pad was closed, no arcade, no Cafe,

We have stayed at this location many times. We use this as our annual family camping trip. Each time they mess up our reservations. We always ask to be put with our family and end up on opposite ends of the campground. This time was no different, even after speaking with someone 3 different times. It definitely makes it harder to enjoy our trip when they don’t honor the request.

We were there during off season, so kind of dead. Deluxe cabins are nice!! Other cabins are okay. Employees could be nicer!

Fantastic, our cabin was perfect, clean and well stocked. The lady at the front desk noticed my hat that showed the Naval Ship I was on, ask me if I was in the service, thanked me for my service and gave a 10% discount......that my day

Very friendly staff. Very accommodating. I had a door lock issue, I saw the guys at a campsite, told them my door would not unlock. They came right over got it unlocked and repaired. Great bunch of guys! This is the best KOA I have ever stayed at! Great people!

Too many stink bugs in the room was afraid to go to sleep thought one might crawl in my ear. I killed 6 in an hour!

Cabin was in much need of maintenance and upgrades shower was impossible to regulate hot and cold water actually dangerous especially if some has children other reasons I will not mention made this stay disappointing stayed here many times never had a bad stay until now. I did email the office attempting to share before completing survey no reply

When I called to book I asked for a cabin close to my brother and sister. I gave the lady their site numbers and I was booked in a cabin as far away as possible from them. The cabin wasn’t the cleanest either, the water stopped working during our stay.

Would like to be able to reserve a specific cabin and or cabins if we were bring multiple families. That would ensure we would be together. Always enjoy staying there. We will be back soon.

We had a great stay in a comfortable deluxe cabin on the river. The cabin was well stocked and tidy. We would recommend this KOA to anyone.

Beautiful and comfortable cabin with excellent view of the Raven Fork River! It rained almost entire time of stay, so we couldn't do much outdoors, but we had a nice time anyhow.

We have been coming to Cherokee KOA every Feb. for at least 10 yrs. The last 3 yrs. have been getting a little bit worse, but this year tops it.The plumbing in our 2 cabins were horrible.Toilets stopped up every day 1 cabin we called about toilet not working for 3 days until my husband got his tool kit out and fixed it himself. It is now so overcrowded with cabins that there is no privacy

The cabin had heat but obviously the thermastat was broken so it wouldn't stay on or get above 50°. We told the office about it and they laughed and said well it is winter. But we paid $431.51 for a heated cabin. I was pretty upset by the laughter. It was very cold. It would have been one thing if I expected to not have heat.

We stayed in the deluxe cabin for the price I was expecting a little better experience cabin has definitely seen better days pretty run down infested with ladybugs stink bugs and a few cockroaches. I have been coming to the KOA Cherokee for many years they’ve got to where they really nickel and dime you for everything. I must say most of employees are very friendly very quick to respond to you

Our cabin was clean and stocked well however, the main door would not close properly. Additionally, the base in the armoire was broken and the top right drawer was missing. Unfortunately, we were not notified the game room was torn down and the jumping pillow was inoperable during our stay. We had some very disappointed boys :(

Customer service sucks, literally made us check in at 4pm. Whole freaking family rented the 3 cabins next to us with their dogs who by the way were off leash the entire time and charged at our dogs OFF LEASH. Bathrooms were clean for the most part.

The heat in the cabin did not work correctly. The gas grill was missing a knob and the beds were a bit uncomfortable. My biggest issue was with one of the employees and her attitude. I do not know her name, however, she was not friendly or accommodating in any way. This is my groups 32 annual trip to this resort and we always have issues with the office and booking. Need better service.

cabin not as clean as before. No sheets for sofa sleeper. kitchen drawers were dirty and blinds were filthy, one was broken. Took sheets off beds and discovered main bed had been peed on. Not as top quality stay as before. they do make safety sheets that zip on and are washable. keeps beds clean and safe. can buy on line.

Very rude receptionist when i was asking for help. Very dusty behind TV and furniture. It needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Heater did not work but they did provide a electric heater.

We stay in the campsites quite often it’s always great. This time we stayed in the deluxe cabin and it was amazing. Very cozy and quiet. Very clean and comfortable as well. I would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat.

Reserved 3 loft cabins, 2 available at check-in. and the 3rd 45 minutes later. All cabins were clean and in great locations. The weather was cold, and heaters in two cabins could not heat the cabins. We were provided two small space heater that helped. Brandon with maintenance was quick to respond and assisted us, pleasure to talk with, great attitude. Overall good time, things happen

Always a great stay at the KOA in Cherokee and the trout fishing is the best I’ve ever experienced you never know what you’re gonna see for wildlife and we had a beaver come up to the cabin in the river great experience highly recommended

Excellent after hours process for check in. Housekeeping staff was so nice. Just need stronger heaters for the cabin that’s all. Love coming here many times each year. Perfect cost effective getaway!

The problem I had was there was no heat in my cabin and my father had cancer and we frozen in there and call front office call never went through but everything else was okay and I paid a lot for a cabin that was supposed to have heat

Sherry check in person isn’t the most pleasant. The cabin itself we love but the couch sits very low making it hard to get up after just sitting much less sleeping on that awful mattress. The bed mattress in cabin 512 needs to be replaced due to it is very uneven and causes pain and I don’t have back issues after sleeping. The toilet is like a child toilet sitting very low.

We love this KOA! Staff is friendly and helpful, the campground has plenty to do for the little ones. We always get lodging on the Raven River, and the sound from the river just brings peace. It's always a relaxing get a way! Highly recommend this KOA!

We had a great few relaxing days here! Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Cable was not working when we arrived, and they reconnected it immediately for us. Short drive into town and to the casino. Hot tub was nice and toasty! Being able to fish right on the property was nice as well. Also everyone who works here are very kind and helpful!

Stayed in a cozy cabin by myself. I was in one of the most remote areas of the campground near a beautiful stream. I had never camped in this area so it was a real treat. For 3 day I struggled to build a rip-roaring fire, only to be undermined by zero-2-no-wind. But that's another story. All the staff have always been most professional and friendly. Sent a email but had no response. We were booked for Cabin 507. We departed a day early. We were unable to stay any longer as the smell of propane from the fire pit was unbearable. We were getting headaches, nauseous and our eyes would burn while the fire was going. Besides the propane smell, the heater in the bathroom did not work. Fireplace sounded like a bomb going off every time it came on.

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
