We only stayed one night but cabin was great with a great view and we slept really well. The campground is pretty impressive with all the lots and activities to do. Sad we didn't get a chance to stay a little longer but glad we got to experience it!

We arrived early hoping to get in cabin to enjoy some downtime. Lady at front desk was rude. Arrived back at 4 only to have front desk to call housekeeping to make sure cabin was ready. Bed was too hard and wasn’t able to sleep. Toilet in bathroom was leaking and one was stopped up. Standing water and mud everywhere. People parked in middle of road

Long wait to check in. Stayed in deluxe cabin that boasted internet and cable but both were spotty at best. Still a nice place and I would stay here again

It was wonderful until my wife slipped on the stairs going out of the cabin. The location was beautiful and we will definitely be back again!

We had a wonderful time. Our cabin was very clean and welcoming. The ladies at the front desk were polite and helpful. We will definitely go back.

Friendly staff, well maintained campground. Cabins have everything you need for your stay. I recommend this KOA. Planning to return mid year.

The Campground has always been nice. This last stay was probably the worst its ever been. The check in process was a disaster, they didn't have our cabin ready and had to wait in line multiple times. It was dirty anyways. The pool had feces in it and was clearly neglected for hours or days. The staff was rude and unhelpful. They acted as though my problems were made up and I was the problem.

We arrived hours early lady at check out was very rude and made sure to let us know we WERE NOT CHECKING IN TIL 4. cabin had only 2 spoons one bowl no bbq equipment. Last morning trash was all over the ground as no one picked it up the day before. No room service we had to ask for toilet paper and trash bags.

Clean campground and great place for kids, fishing, and relaxing! Always a great time at this koa stayed many times and can't wait to be back! Thanks so much for Joann at the check in desk, friendly, helpful and does such a good job, friendly staff

Very poor customer service. I arrived around 230pm, when I went to the check in desk. I was told which cabin I had but that I would have to come back at 4pm because that was check in time. I had to leave the next morning, I left the key in the drop box. Tried numerous times to call and let the staff know I had left, calls were rolling over to the call center. NOT ENOUGH STAFF TO PROVIDE SERVIC

Tried 2 view cabin months before ckn.Told it would cost $10 to view.Found out why they didn’t want us 2 see them ahead of time.Deluxe suite on the Raven Fork Rvr means a cabin the size of a 4 man tent with mud puddle 2 look at.Rvr is dried up on their part.Use old pictures to advertise. Cabin dirty & broken inside.Even when hazards brought to attention not fixed.Emploees enjoy lying to your face

We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of our cabin. Our shower had hair stuck to the walls, our trash can was disgusting (full of dirt and spilled substances), and our pillows and blankets had blood spots/ stains all over them. The campground itself was okay. However they have a community fire pit that runs on propane, we asked them to light it for us 4 times and it was never done.

False advertising. Stated they had all these holiday events and none of them occurred. Lady in office very rude to people questioning it as well. Longtime KOA person but won't be back to this location.

We had an amazing stay. It was our first time at KOA. We enjoyed every part of the stay. The staff, the grounds, the doggy park, the streams, the proximity to Migo Falls, the entire experience was more than we could have asked for. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying other KOA around the country.

I had one problem. I didn't want to leave at checkout. It was so peaceful there. Wished I could have stayed a few more days but my schedule wouldn't allow for it. Lol Merry Christmas! �

Our first time ever staying in a Koa was not a very good experience, the first night here 12/18/21 realized the cabin (389) was not what we rented over the phone. What we were supposed to have was a deluxe cabin with fire place over looking the river. The cabin was dirty. Floors were not mopped or swept, shower had hair and bugs in it. The front of the toilet on base had dried pee and dust collect

The staff is friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. The campground was under construction, but you couldn't even see a mess. The whole place was beautiful!!! The cabin was warm and inviting. I can't wait to come back and bring my family during the summer!!!

Office staff were unfriendly. Your campground advertised activities which is why we picked your place and then we get here told they aren't doing them despite advertising still for them. If I had known that I would not have came.

We really like this KOA and this was our second stay there. However this time the cabin and beds were not up to the mark! The sofa bed was in a really bad shape. Utensils were missing in the room. We had to go to the office multiple times to have things corrected!! The customer service and house keeping really need to up their service level. All despite the fact the KOA did not have many guest

Beautiful location for the Deluxe Cabin on the river. I wanted to give a good review but was disappointed. When we arrived the soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body gel dispensers were completely empty. The fireplace did not work and despite complaining three diff times, no one came to look at it- sad bc i paid extra for a cabin w fireplace. The floor was filthy and some linens were dirty.

Very crappy, didn’t have anything they advertised when we got there didn’t get clean towels rude employees would most definitely like my money back paid a lot of money drove over 5 hours and it was nothing that that advertised when i booked it they claim no staff to do it like promised on the web site

Finding a lot of dog hair triggering my allergies was not fun, but I survived. The cabin was not as clean as I thought it would be. Maybe replacing some utensils would help too. Bed was comfortable, sheets were clean which is very important. Over all ok I say. The area is amazing and we enjoyed ourselves.

It’s a good location in the mountains. Clean bathrooms and showers. Indoor heated pool. The registration/camp store is nearly new and has much potential.

Cabin was gross and not cleaned. Even after cleaned it was shabby and falling apart. Bed was terrible: slanted, very worn, and very loud. Very very disappointed. I posted a google review with pictures and more information.

Rude staff. The pool area was a mess. Smoke decror was beeping in cabin. Mattress and pillows needed to be burned at the bonfire.

The cabin was wonderful. However, the comforter was stained with hairs on them. The golf cart seat was torn and mildewed. The lady who checked us in was very rude to us and her fellow co workers in front of us. We enjoyed our stay and will try it again, but lowered expectations.

Comfortable beds, wish the shower heads weren't so cheap, tv went out due to a storm but only the backside was out of TV, everyone in the middle to the front had TV. Beautiful scenery

Love the indoor pool. Love the cabin we stayed in. The only issue I had was we went to the front desk asking for t.p and was told housekeeping would bring it. Later that afternoon still nothing and had to go back to the office. We stayed in a pet friendly cabin it was great besides a few of the blinds were chewed thru and a few balls of pet hair rolling in the floor. But nothing a broom can't fix.

Stayed in cabin 243. Third time I've stayed in your deluxe cabins. Beds and floors were clean. But the rest was very dirty. Blinds and windows were nasty. Dead bugs in bathtub. Refrigerator light and hairdryer not working. Overall the cabin needs a thorough cleaning. If it's a situation of lack of staffing, management should be able to correct. If it's a personnel issue, management Must rectify

Whoever took my reservation at the front desk told me that my time to check in would be 3:00 p.m. when I get to the there they said it would be 4:00 p.m. nobody tried to listen to what I said our cabin was nasty under the bed has never been swept or mopped you have one worker there that is severely overweight and you can actually see her stomach hanging below her shirt they're clothe did not look

My trip to Cherokee KOA was a good one. RV sites are large and well maintained with plenty of room between them.. Unfortunately there was a NC burning ban and we could not have a fire. The Staff was kind and accommodating. There is plenty to do for all ages, especially for the kids. I will definitely stay here again.

Everything was wonderful cabin and staff.. however..I did tell staff that our cabin everytime I'd cook or we sat down to eat roaches crawled out of wall trim behind tv seen 2 in bathroom and one was crawling from under shelf where our dishes was. Deluxe 238 was our cabin. Otherwise we will be back in Aug. We stay every August and Dec. We want same cabin but please spray .for bugs.

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
