We love the Cherokee KOA! It's a beautiful location, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the amenities are wonderful. My only suggestion would be to clean the bath house on a more regular basis. It wasn't super clean any of the times I went in there. Oh, and the sign to the indoor pool said it closed at 9pm, but both nights we were in there, they came in at 8pm and said it was closing.

Campgrounds and cabin very clean and comfortable. Love the view along the creek!! Bath house was also very clean and warm!

It was great as always. Cabins could use a little more tlc. We cleaned the filters in air/ heating unit. Also cleaned the coffee maker. Otherwise it is a great stay. Cc old they put changing rooms back in inside pool? Thought they were there and it was a long cold walk after dark.

We had a terrible experience at check-in. They tried to give us a smaller cabin that we had reserved and kept telling us they couldnt fix it because they didnt have any available. I had requested a Deluxe but they told us corporate changed it and there was nothing they could do. Lied about cabins not having cooktops even though Deluxe cabins do. I will be sending more details in a complaint.

I always love my stay here. The cabin we stayed in 240 does not put off a lot of heat the office was great and got us a heater

Always enjoy the stay at great smokies but was totally disappointed with size of refrigerator in our cabin and had to change to a different cabin. Hope they resolve this issue of refrigerators before we consider staying again in spring of 2022.

Enjoyed the time there other then the heater not working in 20 Degree weather no space heaters available had to deal with being Cool three days. Missing remote In room received the next day but did locate in the pull out couch later

Great campground! Beautiful place and very friendly staff. Only problem we had was a broken fireplace in our cabin so it got cold at night. Probably just unfortunate timing.

We got propane and the person did not tell the office how much he put in. We knew that it was 1/2 empty. we had an idea of how much was put in. we went to pay, the person working the window got short with us and told us to go find the person who put the propane in. We walked the campground trying to find the person but we did not. We were made to fill like it was our fault. We did pay for half

I understand working on a holiday is never fun. We stayed here with a couple of other families like we do every year. This was our last. The staff in very unfriendly and rude and the late check in for the cabins is ridiculous.

We wasn’t able to check in until an hour after check in. Due to leaving I was looking under the beds Incase we left something and there was trash from the previous family that stayed . Also on website when I checked in it DID NOT put that there would be NO heat for winter cabins. Luckily family had space heaters or my husband & I would of frozen due to the lowers were in the low 30s - mid 20s

The fishing was great! All of us in our group agreed that the staff was very helpful and kept the bathhouse and bathrooms very clean.

Everything was fine except for the bed falling apart not once but twice. Even after having maintenance come to fix it the second time after spending two nights on the floor and being really nice about it with the staff, there was no offer of discount or anything. Surprising, really. Otherwise, the only disappointment was the cold showers.

Most of the workers were wonderful. I was a little surprised that the cabins did not come with heat. You had to request for a small heater and some people did not get one. Also I was diapointed in the check in time. Most KOA's is 3pm. And if you show up early and are nice they will let you check in early. But the lady I delt with was very rude about the check in time for 4pm. Overall it's great!

Our second time staying and enjoyed it even more than the first time! Great fishing spots. The golf carts make it easier to get to point A and B with kids. The kids loved the jumping pillow!

Everything was as planned. We brought our heater for our staying and we really enjoyed our family time together trusting that KOA is a good place to be while we can visit Cheerokee, Bryson, Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge as well. I highly recommend KOA campground. It is an amazing family place to stay.

We loved the area..our stay at KOA over all was enjoyable but…. Cabin was stated to be deluxe maybe but not in my opinion. Very small.. bed broke. We made do with bed for days we were there but they should update.

The staff is very friendly and helpful! Our cabin was very clean but was missing a couple of things, but the staff quickly brought them upon request. The campground itself was very clean and well kept. Our kids enjoyed all the activities they had to offer!

I was very disappointed at some of the staff. They were very rude to not just me. But several others I observed in the 15+ people standing in line. We all no and understand the stress this must put on staff. But most of us were not rude . Yet we were treated as if we didn't matter as customers. It was an experience that has caused us to consider after many years of staying here to flook for o

We loved our long weekend here! We stayed in the 2 room camping cabin and it was perfect for our family. The first night was freezing cold and it took about a day for the cabin to warm up and get comfortable but we just cozied up extra to stay warm. The bath house was very clean and the staff was so friendly. My husband loved being able to fish too! We are already planning out next visit!

Our cabin was nice and I liked its location right along the creek. The front desk check in person could have been more friendly and provided more information. If it was not for the escort to the cabin I would have never of found it or known where to park. Information about the campground was not explained to me at all. I might stay there again, but for the price and service I might do airbnb.

The only thing that dissapointed me about the deluxe cabin that we stayed in - when I booked the cabin online the picture led me to believe that we would have a river view from our firepit area and we did not.

We asked for a deluxe cabin that had bunk beds for the kids and found out we were not in one and we requested to be booked in a side by side cabin with our other party that rented and asked for the same accommodations. We had a great time and will definitely come back.

Great place to stay. Beautiful location lots to do and perfectly useful small cabin. Family loved it great for smaller kids. Only reason it was not 5 stars was small cabin had a fold out for two young kids, space was to be heated by gas logs but were not functioning at time of stay.

Great location. I've stayed here five previous times - and it was wonderful. Sorry to say that on this trip I was disappointed in the "Deluxe Cabin" that I rented. Gas fireplace never worked - KOA personnel told me the propane was likely out. Cannot recommend cabin #514 - worst location. Recommend that you get a cabin directly on the river. Best part of this campground is the KOA staff.

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
