I enjoyed the campground and all the activities very much. The only complaint I have is the sofa bed in the deluxe cabins. The mattress is awful and all you can feel is the bed framing(tubing) and the sleep is very difficult.

We absolutely love KOA Cherokee.. I do wish your bathrooms would be more handicap ( Wheelchair)accessible With grab bars I had to wheel my dad, in his wheelchair Down to the 3rd bathroom in the park. that was kinda sad.. You do have a family bathroom up by the pool but it does not have any grab bars in it.. That's a simple fix and would mean a lot. Look forward to our next camping trip

Think it’s a shame that can’t check into the place until 4 in the evening. Feel like y’all need get rid the kids playing games and get adults working at earlier time to be able to get coustmers in at a sooner time. Witnesses several of y’all employees goofing off or playing for long distance of time instead of doing there jobs cleaning cabins for the next person.

The stay Was great. The only problem was that the Wi-Fi did not work all the time. It is time to replace the mattresses.

Rented 2 cabins... A deluxe for my parents and a basic for myself, boyfriend and dog. Second year bringing my parents to your place and will keep bringing them as long as they can make the trip! Facilities are beautiful, staff are friendly and helpful and the pond is stocked! (The beds/mattresses could use some attention) Thanks for another great year of memories!

My arrival was not the best knowing I was going to arrive late and it was going to be cold I requested firewood to be delivered to my site. When we arrived not only was there no firewood but the cabin was not clean, a tobacco spit cup was left in one of the window seals and spilled on the bed. Plus the cabin was missing curtians and it would have been nice to know there was no heat in the cabin.

Complaint:Upgraded to have fridge and tv. The tv did not have a remote control. Called and attempted to fix the situation after four remote controls unable to get one to work. Compliment: Reservation staff went above and beyond to ensure my parents cabins was nearby. Thanks.

We were told that our cabin was on a creek we were not. There was a cabin behind us that was on a creek. we were unable to use the bathroom sick because the drain stopper would not go up to drain the water, brushed our teeth in the kitchen sink. The pool area needs a lot of work. Everything about the area was beautiful

We had a blast. The haunted house was amazing. My kid's met some other kid's at the playground. And the all played well. It's amazing how friendly everyone was.

Good to see improvements were made to laundry facilities and bath houses. Bath houses still need hooks and shelves in them to place items you don't want to get wet when showering.

We were stranded at the cabin due to car issues. Asked employee of we could get a jump and she said the maintenance man will come. She was suppose to tell him. We member saw either one and we ended up having a tow truck come. It would have been nice if we had gotten help.

Love this KOA. The only constructive criticism I will pass along is having a better check in/ store personal check out system. Usually long lines, and takes a while. Honestly, other then that we truly love this place

As always we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only a few issues with the cabin - only one burner on stove worked (knob was broken off the other), very limited pots/pans and dishes. Outside grill would not ignite and we had to use matches to light. We had 3 people staying in the cabin and there were only enough towels/washcloths for 2 people.

Everything we needed in the cabin was thought thru and provided, and it was very clean. The campground is run very efficiently. All the extras like firepit, Halloween decorations, movie/popcorn, bouncy place for kids, etc makes the guests enjoy the place. I would love to have our grandkids visit some day. Thanks for the enjoyable stay!

We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was great! We found the bathrooms to not be as clean as other campgrounds we have stayed at…but overall really liked Cherokee KOA

I would return but the attendants at the “check in” desks are rude, crude and socially unattractive due to the prude behavior. I was looking forward to our stay and upon the attitude from attendant, it dampened my spirits immediately. A little less attitude at the desk would be most appreciated. This was my first visit to this KOA and potentially my last.

We had a great stay at the campground. We stayed in the Deluxe cabin and it was very nice inside. The cabin was clean and we were surprised to find out we had a cabin right on the river. The staff was great and we would definitely return for another stay. My one suggestion would be to have more events for Friday guests. They had a number of things for Saturday but we were leaving on Saturday.

The view was absolutely amazing. The campsite was fantastic. Great get away for my boyfriend and I except two things. The staff was rude and impatient with everyone. I did not appreciate their attitude towards me or other people I saw them interact and talk to. My second thing is the power went out for about 6 hours. One of the staff shrugged when I asked how long it would be then ignored me.

Only thing that I have issue with is how often the bathrooms were cleaned, the men's room closest to the office looks and smelled like a toilet had overflowed recently and wasn't cleaned our entire trip.

I personally did not like the Kabin we were in.(386) It is in the back of the campground. The road is adjacent the site and two of the three days we were there the tree trimmers/tree removal folks were busy. It was LOUD. Also ordinary traffic on the road is loud. I also think the Kabin could use a good cleaning. The Windows have mold growth. No one opens the blinds apparently.

We stayed in cabin 505. The floor was filthy and so were the towels and wash clothes. No activities during weekdays. Beautiful scenery and was nicely decorated for Halloween. Very limited dishes and no frying pan in room. I cut my stay short and was grateful for a refund for days not staying.

My Kabin had NOT been cleaned before being assigned to me. I didn’t arrive early. It was after 4:00 pm. I went to the office and the situation was remedied and I was given a KOA gift card for my inconvenience. Otherwise my stay here was good.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was the first KOA we have ever visited. The indoor pool and hot tub were awesome. Staff was very nice. The cabin was nice,but the floors were filthy. It would turn you socks black if you didn't keep your shoes on. Also, the bathrooms were nice, but again not cleaned while we were there. Floors were not swept or mopped. It also looked like showers were neglected.

It was peaceful. The cabin was spotless and comfortable. Overlooking the river was the biggest calling card. That and the fact that my dogs can join me for a rest.

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
