Enjoyed our stay, Cabin 26 seems to need leveling and heat didn’t seem to be enough to warm cabin other than that everything was great!

We did not receive the cabin we were expecting to receive. However the cabin that we were supposed to receive remain empty all weekend. Per my phone calls to change weekends the cabin we were supposed to have at least refrigerator TV and heat and air. The cabin we did stay in both doors was broken spiderwebs everywhere, no refrigerator TV or heat.

We love it!!! It’s so relaxing and all staffs are so friendly!!!! We will definitely come back and stay at deluxe cabin soon!! We will bring our friends to hang out with us soon.

After arriving at 4pm we were told the rustic cabin 13 was still being cleaned at 4pm. They stated would let us know when its ready. I informed Sherry/Joann that every minute past 4 I expected a discount because there is nothing to clean in a rustic camping cabin. I can sweep it myself in 2 minutes and I let them know that. Poor customer service. We were alowed to check in well after 4pm.

We booked a cabin for three nights over Labor Day weekend. The first night there were issues. I went early the next morning before the office opened and met Jimmy. I explained what was going on. Then, once the office opened I explained to them as well. The whole staff was helpful. Jimmy went above and beyond making sure we were happy and still having fun. Everyone was very accommodating.

Very pleasant stay. The cabin was clean, staff extremely friendly, fishing was good. You have to love cooking trout you just pulled out of the river. Close to Cherokee and other attractions. Made money at the casino. What else could you ask for? Plan to bring the grandkids on the next visit.

I like koa. Only reason why I gave it a 3 is because my cabin had bed bugs. It sucks! My family has bites all over us. I would ONLY stay at KOA if we brought our camper or if we are in a tent. Other then that..... there is alot of stuff to do for kids.

Cabin had lots of cobwebs inside. Didn't look like under the bed had been cleaned. We lost something and turned the lights out and looked for it, that's how we discovered it was not clean. We used a flash light. Would not let you check in till 4, because the cabins were being cleaned, they missed ours.

The cabin I rented had a gas grill on the patio. I had planned on using this to cook the majority of my meals. The grill worked Friday evening but would not light Saturday morning. I called the front desk to report this and was told that someone would be out to repair the grill. As of Sunday morning checkout, No one had shown up to fix the grill. I feel like I should get a partial refund.

There was no stay. We tried to cancel the reservation multiple times from the 2nd day after it was made, but management would not reply to emails, answer the phones, or return calls or texts. And KOA Corporate's only response was to "reach out to the site manager", who does not return emails, calls or texts, and doesn't answer the phone when you call their office.

Our cabin was not so clean- I thought I was getting river view and unfortunately all I could see was the area where people could gather at a fire pit. Would’ve liked more privacy-and a cleaner cabin.

I would give it a 5 star for the amenities and cleanliness of the park. We’ve been there a few times now. This time we had a problem with Joann at the front desk. First thing is the park was empty. I had to argue with her to upgrade us to a better cabin close by. Then she made us wait until 4 the last minute to check in even though the cabin was ready. Cleaning crew told us. Bad employee!

The bathroom smelled like urine. No batteries in remotes so we weren't able to have the bedroom fan on at night without the light staying on. Wall lights didn't work. Blanket for pullout couch smelled awful. Couch was very uncomfortable. I never received a response from my reply text regarding late arrival procedures. The staff at the cafe was very friendly. And the food was good.

I absolutely love the Cherokee KOA. My only issue was the mattresses in our cabin. They were worn out and lumpy but the front desk told me they have mattresses on order but due to supply shortages they haven’t received them yet. Not a huge deal, we will definitely be coming back.

Had a terrific time as usual. The only complaint which really isn’t. One of the showers is the women’s shower house 3 only has hot water and can scald you. It is the second one as you walk in. Other than that. Loved the site we were on. We’ll be back!

Everything was good, cabin overall it was a goos place to stay but the only thing we didnt like it was the way the did the cleaning, we found a spider on the queen size bed pillows. That shows me that they didnt check it out good before we arrive there, and thats on the bed and i have proof of it, i have pictures of it...and im waiting for KOA to do some about it, cause its not safe for people..

As far as the campground itself, everything was great. Cherokee, the town not so. We've been staying there the last 5 years.I do wish the grill would still be open, as nothing in town was. COVID.

We experienced a problem with the KOA customer appreciation weekend and were charged for both nights. We tried several time to talk with Rachel the GM and was unsuccessful. I even called to speak with her for two days after returning home. I still have not heard for her. There was an angry camper that expressed his anger at 5:00 am waking up everyone in the front of the campground.

The cabin I stayed in smelled really bad thank god I had a can of Lysol lavender spray the curtains also smelled and the floor was dirty the windows were filthy and the light outside had all kinds of spiders and webs and there was dental tooth pic with floss on the porch and they were used. Kinda gross. The area is beautiful they just need better maids to clean the right way.

Great place have stayed there numerous times over the last 18 years the cabin was not clean trash under the beds and on the foot board of the bunk bed just need to make sure that they are paying more attention to cleaning

Stay was nice , cabin clean ,outside deck snd window sceeens could have been leaned to rid if spider webs all over, shower handle broke but they were quick to fix Only one major issue was one staff member at front desk upon check in was very unfriendly and unprofessionally cold, all other staff members great

The scenery is beautiful. However our cabin was not cleaned at all prior to arrival and the attitude/Lack of customer service we got from JoAnn was HORRIBLE. Been coming here for 4 years. We may not be back.

Light bulbs were out in the cabin. We had one light bulb working and 2 were out in den ceiling fan/light. Same in the restroom vanity, several light bulbs out. Children's activities stopped Labor Day. Sad to see those stopped. No activities or bikes available.

staff was super friendly. The cabin was in great condition and clean. Much, much better than Yogi in the Smokies. Yes, I already made reservations for next year. I spend most of my childhood staying at Yogi in the Smokies, it's going down like a rocket. Now I can make better memories at KOA. Again thank you staff, they were outstanding

A very large corporate run KOA so it is missing the "home" feel many others have. Our stay here was quiet and we enjoyed ourselves but were very disappointed to hear from employees this will be changing from a Holiday KOA to a Resort and with that prices will be nearly doubling. With so many options in the area we likely won't be back. Double the price with so many upgrades needed is not desirable

We always enjoy our time at the Cherokee KOA. Although the campground was fully booked and we were unable to move to a campsite that had a fireplace, one of the staff members was very accommodating and letting us use the fire pit at her personal RV site. I wish the rating could be broken out by factors. I would give the campground a five stars for everything but cleanliness.

When we arrived I went to rinse out my ice maker & a nasty colored water came out of the kitchen faucet. Dog hair all over the sofa bed under cushions when we opened it up and the mattress had dirt on it. Cleaners need to inspect sofa beds & vacuum off mattress & area under the cushions. Leary of staying here ever since we got bed bugs while staying there once. Cabins are looking rundown.

as usual, the deluxe cabin met our needs. Staff very cooperative. Shower in cabin 223 drained very slowly (water accumulated over our feet during shower). otherwise, totally satisfied with accommodations. Also, map shows ponds are stocked twice weekly, which is incorrect. Last 5 visits they have only been stocked once per week.

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
