There was a Wasp nest in the bench outside our cabin. Also never saw bathrooms near cabin K307 get cleaned, they were very dirty & smelly. Cabins very close together and no access to river unless you have a riverfront cabin.

There are lots of activities for kids but not as many for adults traveling without kids. A game room or pool table would be nice. General maintenance could be a bit better as some things like swings on cabins need repair. Also we were given keys to an occupied cabin upon checking.

There were bed bugs in our cabin, on our pillows and bags. We examined each item we brought, put in trash bags, and had to throw out hair brushes & some of our stuff due to them being in it! I have pictures to prove it. I reached out to this campground manager for a refund. No one seemed to care & did not call me back. Please refund my entire stay. There are 27 google reviews just like ours!

This was our second time at this campground. Kids love camping here. They especially loved the Halloween decorations.

For starters, I walked in the office to check in and was greeted by a staff member who was not wearing a mask that said “you need to wear a mask otherwise next time you come In here I won’t serve you” I think her name may have been Kathy? She wore glasses but I know her name started with a K. The men’s room in the bathhouse was converted to a laundromat, so the men had to use port o Johns

Very nice campground! Only thing I was disappointed in was no AC in the cabins, should take out the tv and install AC unit. I plan to stay again.

My stay was pretty good been going to koa for 30 years. What disappointed in was my son and family had bed bugs in their cabin. KOA did not handle it fairly.

It was fantastic as always, I would recommend some typeof table/countertop at the water faucets to clean and wash dishes

Most of the staff were friendly this time. There needs to be a little more housekeeping for the bathhouses, especially for a holiday weekend and a fishing tournament. Overall had a good weekend!

Overall we love the place. We did notice the bathrooms were not as clean this year as previous years. We also had a cabin with a broken light. It got really dark at night and it wouldn’t have been so bad if it hadn’t been the kids room. Staff did allow us to use their lantern which we appreciated

The cabin was clean. The services that are provided are very nice. Staff are super friendly and the delivery service for golf carts and firewood were especially appreciated. There was plenty of activities to do if you'd like, or you can sit back and relax either in a hammock or in a camping chair by the fire. We will be staying next year same time! Great first KOA experience.

Probably the best KOA we have been to. Great facilities and they worked with us to move from a spot we had our pop-up camper to a cabin when remnants of Hurricane Ida were coming thru.

My husband and I stayed at this KOA three weeks ago and returned with BED BUGS. We will never stay at the Cherokee KOA again. I have called multiples times and left messages for the manager to return my call and she has not done so. I suspect its because she is avoiding the conversation regarding bed bugs. We stayed in one of the "K cabins". I wish I could upload a photo of the over 70 bites!

Well first if all the lady that checked me in was rude and I got there early to see the place and she said I couldn’t check in till 4 which I knew so we walked around the place and I asked workers where I might be at. So I went back and asked her if she could put me on the big creek side she said I wasn’t locked in or asked for it when I checked in I haven’t been here before she said wait

We paid for a deluxe cabin. Air conditioner in bedroom was froze up. They said they were full and would not move us to a different unit. We could clearly see, they were not full. The ladies at the front desk in the afternoon were not very friendly. The lady in the evening was very nice. When you pay for a deluxe cabin you would think they could let you check in early and fix the any problems

Very nice place. Disappointing to have port-a-potty that were very gross instead of the regular restroom. Also having the longest line to purchase things or check in was a bit disappointing as well. Otherwise a very nice place.

The staff at check in are courteous, efficient, and overall wonderful. My deluxe cabin was quaint, and 100 times better than any hotel/ motel available. Just imagine listening to a beautiful river within feet of the cabin with views of the mountains. Thank you KOA. Next time I'm bringing my family. And have told numerous people about what a fine time I had.

I liked our cabin. I thought it needed little extra cleaning but we were able to fix that. I wish that bunk beds were in the neck room so that we had some time in the morning to make coffee without waking kids up. TV is not needed in cozy cabin. Amenities were nice.My only complaint really is one of the bathrooms and showers need a deep deep cleaning! Please clean your bathrooms better.

The campground was as expected. The roads, the facilities, the pools, the main building, the cabins, the staff! Everything was awesome! Everyone was helpful with any questions we had. The dog park was nice. The dog poo bags all over the campgrounds is a nice touch for dog owners. The playground was well kept. Looking forward to next time.

This property is so beautiful with it being on Raven Fork River and five minutes from Mingo Falls. I would like to see more attention given to the cleanliness of the bathrooms, especially the women's showers. Also my camping cabin had some small roaches running around at night. I appreciate that we are in the outdoors however, I with some fumigation, this could easily be resolved.

We had the best cabins by the creek, and since it was during the week, few neighbors. The pool was clean and refreshing on a hot day. The bathhouses were clean and well stocked, and the design that includes individual showers and stalls made this a very comfortable place during the pandemic.

Good- cabins are mostly clean. Grounds well kept. Bad- some of the staff was not as friendly as they could be. Coffee maker in cabin but had to perchance my own coffee. Check in at 4pm is a little late. Wifi dose not reach cabins on the back side of the camp. Over all if the price for cabins was reduced it would be a good deal.

Very disappointed in overall condition of grounds and our cabin. Some sites looked to be permanently inhabited -with junk piled up outside. The pool area was full of weeds growing in planters and cracks in concrete. The pool and spa were nasty. stayed in cabin- though it looked “clean” the kitchen area had ants - there was black mold in bathroom. The bed was horrible- We won’t be back

We have been vacationing here for 10 years. It absolutely breaks my heart to see such hateful and unpleasant staff with reservations. The grills staff was pleasant.The cabin was a room camping cabin which is what we always stay in and was filthy. I’m not talking about dirt and dust that’s normal. Prior guest things were still under the beds. Hairbrush, deo etc. We had an awesome view!

We didn't like our deluxe cabin as much this time. It wasnt clean when we arrived, there were spiders inside bathroom. Also one of the ladies at the front desk was rude but the others were nice and helpful. This all adds to experience overall and I would rate my stay this time to be a 2. I have stayed here previously and really liked it. I guess the management is a huge turn on or off in any case.

Enjoyed our stay however we were suppose to be on the river. That's what we paid for. The stream was blocked off about 100 yards upstream therefore we had a dry creek bed. Not happy about that.

First time back in 20 years, had a great time. The only negative was the ponds weren't stocked prior to . our visit. It was my understanding they were stocked every Friday?? None the less we will be back.

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
