Everyone was very nice and accommodating except for Michelle who was at the desk Sunday morning. I felt like she didn’t want to be bothered by questions.

Very poor site ( tree roots beside parking pad) lots of other available sites .To be fair after setting up we didn’t ask to change sights Dirty mens bathrooms ,mens showers ,stools ripped right out of the walls only one hook on the wall On the plus side it is very quiet with very little road noise

They are doing a lot of upgrades which left us without being able to review the entire park. Laundry rooms needs some updating as well. We had no cell service but was no fault of there’s. Great WiFi and cable. We really did like this park and would stay again.

One of our favs! Quiet peaceful, scenic. Only wish the indoor pool was open. We have already made reservations to stay again!

Many modifications and improvements in progress throughout the camp. Staff is exceptionally helpful and pleasant- thanks Sherri and Joanne. Very accommodating when we had to change plans.

Beautiful river site. The only negative was that we only were at to stay a couple of nights. One of our favorite campgrounds and we will definitely be back.

Enjoyed it very much. Many people using showers by where we stayed saying other showers had no hot water. Would come during off season because afraid bathrooms/showers would be so crowded during peak season. Want to bring granddaughter when amenities are open. Staff was very friendly

It was our first trip in our newly built van. The staff was amazing and very helpful! Bath houses were cleaned regularly, overall great experience! Thank y’all so much!!

Based on my planned late arrival, I attempted to reach a real person at the site and was unsuccessful on multiple occasions. Additionally, although I completed the early check-in online based on an email request, my reservation was cancelled while I was en-route. Thanks to the site not being crowded and the signage about locating a site after hours and checking in the next day, the stay worked out

Pool/hot tub water was cold and the pool area was nasty. For what is charged per night employees could clean up common areas instead of racing each other around on golf carts. We will not be back after several visits, this was worst. If you are going to advertise staying connected with your wifi you could at least have wifi that works and employees that aren't so rude.

Our stay at the KOA was great except for 1 office/store employee who was very rude when we were in need of help. Upon our arrival I noticed while being in the office/store the same lady being talked to by a manager for being rude to customers of course not thinking anything of it until we experienced it first hand. I would unfortunately avoid staying here again only to avoid the unprofessionalism

Been camping for 15 years never seen the service so bad and everything in the store coolers expired sodas etc.the change machine to do laundry broken. Another big problem no WIFI thru my entire stay 12 days pitiful Muddy everywhere it was a nightmare never again!!!

The lady in the office was rude to my hubby. Our neighbor drove off and forgot something on their campsite. My hubby took their equipment up to the office and the lady was mad about it and rudely told him to leave it at their site. She then refused to call the guy and tell him he checked out without his equipment. He’s going to need that when he goes to set up somewhere.

We left a day early. The hot water was nonexistent and the WiFi only worked for one of the six days we were there. We have three different cell phone carriers and the connection was very limited. The workers weren’t friendly. That being said, it was a holiday week and off season. I would imagine it’s a lot nicer during peak season.

Our stay was great. The only bad thing about the site was the mud. We had a concrete pad but had to walk through mud to get to our vehicle or to my parents camper which was beside us. Other than that all staff was very friendly and we would definitely return.

Every other weekend I go there for the last two months and it seem you try your best to stick me in the muddiest or worst site. Last one piles of leafs afraid my RV would clutch the leaves on fire. Even mentioned it to them and they had plenty of the same sites to move me to. I’m done with this place which is a shame I had so many good memories here when my daughter was little.

Check in was excellent, the person who check us in was great. There was only a few small issues.... 1. Cable connection was pretty bad 2. Internet was pretty much not there. 3. The person who was working the night shift could you a some more training on how to talk to customer.... she was a bit rude and really seem like she did not want to be there. Most of the staff were very nice and helpful. The indoor pool and hot tub needs work. The hot tub wasn’t hot and the jets were barely working. Other than that it was good.

This KOA is in a great location in Cherokee NC. We were very disappointed to find that the amenities (indoor pool and hot tub) were dirty and seemingly not maintained. Also we tired on several occasions to call the office but encountered an unanswered telephone and a recorded message tree that left no options to leave a message. We will likely seek a different campground on our next visit.

This KOA has rude staff and doesn’t sell propane by the gallon, but by the tank which made me not buy from them. As a VIP KOA kamper, this KOA could do better.

Extremely disappointed that the Grinch Breakfast I paid for was non-existent. No food, no Grinch, no nothing, and definitely no apology from the rude women who work the front desk here. Nice campground!

The site we were assigned had standing water when we arrived. The people in the site next to us said they had reported the problem 2 x. When we told the admin them they moved us. The shower stalls needed cleaning….the buildup of dirt behind the shower doors was just gross. The womens’ toilet stall walls had small areas of feces n blood smeared on the walls around the toilet paper.

Staff not very friendly, restrooms/showers smelled terribly like mildew, site was unlevel and has tree stumps that hindered access to camper, site right next to open gate to public parking area.

No dog poop bags in the dispensers, although it was mentioned to both housekeeping and front desk. Sites are nice but overpriced compared to other campgrounds One counter person in the office was cordial, the other snippy and sarcastic The only reason I consider KOA is because other campgrounds in Cherokee are closed in the winter

I felt lied to when I was told the pool was open then 30 minutes later when I checked in it was closed! When I asked about it the next day I was given the we don’t care attitude. We can’t guarantee you anything and we don’t care. Burned out staff need to go. Terrible customer service!!!

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
