Great to enter the campground through a tunnel of shade trees. The property is covered in shade trees and the campground is well maintained. The staff is helpful and welcoming.

Although the park looks crowded, it is surprising roomy. Our only issue was the travel trailer next to ours left twice with two dogs alone inside. Despite calling the park number to report it, the dogs barked for hours.

We stayed here 2 different nights in a week. Both times our site was more mud than gravel or grass. Bathrooms were dirty. Shower stalls are very small. Water smelled of sulfur. Owners/workers were very pleasant. First night we had a lot of mud right outside our camper door. They filled it with gravel and that left white mud on shoes and in camper. We put down a rug on gravel to help mess.

Bathhouses need updated, pool needed vacuumed, campsites need some work to deal with the mud (plant some grass!!). Checkin/camp store was unavailable twice during the evening because the employees had left the property. Overall, it was a decent campground, but not fantastic.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

My dogs had to be dropped off and picked up from the dog groomers. Both times I was gone 7 min when I dropped them off and 7 minutes when I went to pick them up.

We stayed at several KOA's on our trip from PA to SD and the Crawfordsville KOA was by far the prettiest with the biggest lots. Flowers & landscaping were beautiful throughout the campground, the bathroom/showerhouse was very clean and well stocked. There seemed to be a lot of children's activities and a nice pool. We only stayed for one night on our way home, but would highly recommend.

The staff, facility, and location were wonderful. The campsites were tight together and made it difficult for large RV's to get in and out.

Unfortunately we were put in the lowest level tent site with utilities and it rained each of the 3 days we were there. Two sites next to us with no campers were on higher ground. We were in a mud swamp. Recommend that site be closed. Also water access was only a foot off the ground and at other sites it was about 3 feet above the ground. Bathrooms clean. Nice dog park. Friendly helpful staff.

This was not a typical KOA. Honestly gives KOA a bad name. The pool was great. But the camping spots were awful, was unable to see where to drive due to no rock or gravel or pavement. The bathrooms were gross, smelled of mold and mildew. There was no extra amenities for my kids to do which was listed on the sites and brochures. I was not impressed at all.

Extra Amenities? what is listed? we list a playground, basketball, and a pool. and we have all 3. You arrived for 1 night on Sunday after we had 3 days of non stop rain, so yes sites were muddy.

Every camp site is shaded! Staff is friendly! Campground is pretty and clean. Enjoyed the pool too! This was our second time here and would return again for a weekend getaway!

Very friendly and laid back employees. Hookups close to sites, needs more gravel on the drive threw sites, it was very muddy after a rain shower

We stayed a week and had a great time. The folks at Crawfordsville KOA were very friendly and courteous. If ever in their area again we would definitely stay with them. I liked the way they were always improving the property.

The people here were wonderful. After seeing my kids struggle to get the basketball in the normal height hoop, they put in a shorter one! The pool was small but great. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

The campers in the next row set up a LED light on top of their camper and proceeded to have a bean bag game sitting within 3 feet of our camper until 10:30 p.m. The camper next to ours had the other team sitting within touching distance of it. There was yelling, cheering, kids hollering, clapping. I called the office but they didn't show up until 10:30. We would've been better in Walmart lot.

Our quiet hours are 10pm. I spoke to you at 10pm and I told you I was starting to walk my rounds, to make sure everyone was quiet, it was 10:20 when I got to that end of the campground. And they immediately packed the game up. Father's Day weekend and it was kids and parents enjoying a game

It was a well kept, well landscaped place. All clean and attractive. My only wish for KOAs in general is more space between sites. One can, for example, smell cigarette smoke in the neighboring campsite. :-) We go camping for a bit more nature, too.

Just one night on way home to MN. Pool was great as it was very humid. Loved the camp store office and esp the landscaping. Friendly hosts!

OK if you like to sit in the shade and read a book. Not so much if you want to watch TV or use the internet. The internet signal is strong but access is spotty. No cable TV, too many trees for satellite, and no over the air signals. The site we stayed in was not very level and short for a 38' motor home towing. Be very careful parking as the roads are narrow.

We really appreciate the great service from management in accommodating our having to change our reservation. The campground is very close to the highway so lots of road noise and perhaps the rudest campers we have ever encountered around us. The number of barking dogs was ridiculous and no one tried to control them. The spots are close together for little privacy.

We stayed there before and really liked it. This time it was a quick layover…didn’t even unhook…but the fire ring had beer cans and other trash in it. Didn’t directly affect our stay, but….

We love this campground! The staff is so polite and helpful. The accommodations are well taken care of and we love all of the little extra things that make our stay special- donuts on Saturdays, dog park area

We camped here for our maiden voyage with our first camper and it was perfect! The spots were spacious, the pool was refreshing and the staff were wonderful. One staff member even went around before a storm rolled through to make sure everyone’s vents were closed and secured! Great place to stay!!

We were a bit surprised at how nice this KOA was. The sites all have individual landscaping, there are lots of trees too. The staff was very helpful and also very pleasant to work with. Have stayed at several KOAs and this was one of the very nicest.
