Was a bit disappointed in the grounds. Needed to have sites regraveled and areas where picnic tables are new grass put down where fresh dirt was. Poison Ivy was up by the office in plants needs to be removed as well in the grove of trees. Otherwise a quite camping.

The staff was great; however the tent sites were very lackluster and the bathrooms while clean had a sewage like smell. Place would be adequate if you had an RV or trailer but otherwise beware

This could be a great campground if it were cleaned up, weeded and mowed. The pool area needs some work as well. Camp store was not clean.

Lots of great shade on a hot summer day. Sites are tight. Friendly staff, and COVID-19 precautions were in place in the office.

We pulled in late and the map left at the office did a great job of showing us where to set-up. The campsites weren't the best marked, but were nice. The area that was sanded for the tent wasn't quite large enough for the tent we had with us. It was adequately clean and taken care of. We aren't a fan of the showers as part of the bathroom, we prefer them separate.

The bathroom smelled horrendously like sewage. It's also near a main road and we heard police sirens all night long. There was a playground, sort of, but it probably would have been better to not have had one at all because the condition was rough. The tent site was average to below average. We've stayed at many KOA's and this was definitely the worst one by far.

We have been several times and stayed for several weeks. Very friendly. Convenient to Indianapolis and covered bridges.

The customer service is amazing. We like that the campground is quiet. However, the pool needs updating. The sides are cracking and peeling off and the bottom has cracks that cut my children's feet. Also the ladders, to get into the pool, are unstable. They come out! Scary. The landscaping would be beautiful if it were kept up. I feel like the campground needs a little love.

Campsites are a nice size and the way they are angled makes it easy to pull in and out. Because of Covid-19, I cannot rate any of their hospitalizes or activities. The staff was wonderful. I asked for a site with satellite reception and got it. My only negative comment is the sites could stand to be a little bit more level. It wasn't a problem, I'm just fussy that way.

NOT A BAD LOCATION BUT THE CAMPSITES NEED TO HAVE MORE GRAVEL ADDED. OVER THE YEARS THE DIRT HAS WASHED OVER THE GRAVEL CREATING QUITE A BIT OF MUD. MANY OF THE FIRE PITS ARE PLACED VERY CLOSE THE RV PARKING. NOT IDEAL. LASTLY THE DUMP STATION WATER HOSE NEEDS A $2.99 HOSE END IN ORDER TO CONNECT TO THE TANK FLUSH FOR THE BLACK TANK. THIS IS A COMMON REQUIREMENT ON MODERN RV'S(LAST 5-10 YRS)

The tent area was too close to each other. Extremely close quarters for all the sites. Nothing to do. And it rained. Would have liked a refund for one day.

We did give you a credit as you left the day it was raining, we do not do same day refunds. Had you let us know in advance we could have refunded you. Same day results in a credit only.

For a pull through site it was alright a little tight for a camper the size of mine I have a 44’ toy hauler and pulling in was great but backed out due to length and tight space exiting site but the person working the desk was very polite

Peaceful campground. Sleeping cabins are great. Close to many great hiking locations too.

Overall it was an enjoyable stay. Our only issues we’re having a hard time getting ahold of the office lady and intermittent water due to work being done. It seems every time we wanted to take a shower or cook the water was out.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Unfortunately we did not know we were going to have 2 water line break on the 29th your last day here. We definitely didn't want that to occur, but as you know they needed to be fixed right away. I am happy they came same day and got it fixed within a few hours.

We were traveling home from visiting our son’s family in Maryland to our home in SW Iowa and needed an overnight stop to break up the long road trip towing our travel trailer. The facility is a very nice established campground. Excellent shade trees everywhere. Other than the COVID precautions and a little fresh construction work to provide more full hookups to more guests all is good. Excellent

Nice cabin to stay in. Had ac and tv with DVD. Front desk had a bunch of DVDs you could borrow to watch if you wanted to unwind at night. Pool was open. Nice little basketball hoop.

Check-in went smoothly. Camp site was quite and well shaded. Sewer hookup was at a slightly higher elevation from the camper site, requiring additional attention to clean-out the line prior to departure.
