The driveway into the campground has so many potholes our RV was rocking all over the place and our site was so over grown when we put out our slides you couldn’t walk around the RV and could only hang in the front driveway part. This KOA is not maintained and needs improvements. Not sure how it got a Holiday designation. Only positive is how close is it to the Redwood National Forest

The campground was beautiful. My biggest complaint was that the office closes at 4pm- we arrived at 4:09pm. “Late” check-in was easy enough but once inside the cabin I discovered there were no linens. I have stayed at multiple koa cabins over the years and have never had to “rent” linens. There was no one in the office, no emergency number to call. Thankfully there was a housekeeper on sit

Loved the log cabin in the woods. Bathrooms were clean, and personnel very friendly and helpful.

Great location and campsite. Wish that the koa office/general store was open for more hours. Limited hours led to us having to drive into Creasant city for forgotten supplies, which was not a quick trip. Also purchased firewood was quite wet and difficult to get burning.

Beautiful environment in the park with good location to the redwoods and Oregon coast. That’s the only reason we’d recommend. The bathroom was disgusting the entire three days we stayed. Toilet paper ran out quick and was never replaced, weird brown stains all over the sink area, and doors that did not work on the stalls. That was just the men’s room. The women’s room was worse.

odd style for shower heads(PVC tube coming out of ceiling) Shower away from front office barely lukewarm.Same shower/restroom not cleaned for 2 days. Quiet campground. Suggest cleaning under beds in cabin K9 .Good elbow room between camping spaces.Driveway very full of pot holes. Short drive to ocean beaches.

We checked in at 5pm on a Saturday and the office was closed. Had to enter in our own credit card and check ourselves in and find our own slip. They office is only open from 10-4 Monday thru Friday and on Saturday and sun they are open 10 to 1. The shop is very minimally stocked. This was a great campground! There were woods, meadows, a playground, a dog off-leash area. We really enjoyed our too-short stay!

The camp ground and the staff was awesome! The only issue we had was our cable was so fuzzy we could not even watch our tv.

As we understand the campground is under new ownership. It is VERY understaffed and the office was only open 10-4, sometimes closing at 2. The maintenance staff was very helpful and did what they could but needed help. Would hate to see an emergency happen because no one was there on site if help was needed. Worst KOA experience ever and will never go back!

This was the worst KOA. To start they messed up my booking and put me as far away from my family as possible for our 5 day stay. They apologized but didn't offer any thing to make it right. The store is open only a few hours a day. The place is run down and trashy. Small sites and the pot holds are horrible when you enter. The park is the worst and missing a middle monkey bar. Never going back

I told them I have a 45' 5th wheel and was told no problem, When I arrived I was just barely able to make it around the office to my site dragging branches down the side of my trailer. Once parked in my site there were more branches rubbing my trailer. Upon leaving I was again barely able to squeeze out of the park, again with branches rubbing the side of my trailer (2020 Voltage toy hauler).

Great KOA! Convenient location and great campground. Some people mentioned the potholes...yeah, they’re there...just drive slowly.

Office closed with poor hours. Electricity was not working properly. Kept tripping the surge protector. Stayed at campsites before and after with no problem. But great location and loved the campsite in the forest.

Only thing i really didnt like about the place is that the office closes in the middle of the afternoon....WTF ??? 4pm....C'mon man...Other than that would recommend without doubt...

Our first time at a KOA, and we only stayed 1 night on our way home to Oregon from CA. The grounds were very clean, well-manicured and family-friendly. We wished we had more time to hike the grounds and explore the area more, but we hope to be back at some point.

First time we ever have been here and won’t be the last! It was a perfect amount for exploring in the woods with our kids and lots to do in the area! Beach or the redwoods, what more could you ask! Campground was nice and clean, and everyone was friendly!

Great campground to stay at as a jumping off point for the Redwoods. Some of the tent sites are actually in the redwoods! There are tent sites, RV sites and cabins, something for everyone. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful campground that exceeded our expectations! We were booked for Prairie Creek Redwoods Gold Beach campground and it was cancelled a week before due to road closure. We booked this KOA because all of the State Parks were full-We were not disappointed!! KOA campsites were beautiful and lush and the bathrooms and showers were clean! We would definitely stay here again!!! Thank You!!!

I call an reserved a site but when I arrived office was closed an there wasn't site for me yet 6 others had a site listed on door. Fortunately I found a cleaning lady that helped me. There were 5 sites listed an I took one.the next morning I was accused of making up a story an was told I would have to move not in a nice way! The only helpful person was the young cleaning person. Full of pot hole

Was very quick check in,great gift shop, lots of different maps to trails, only suggestion on that have how long each trail is. Had a great time watching the goats and looking at all the redwood trees!

No paperwork, was listed but no site map or WiFi pw. 30 amp service tripped the breaker while just watching tv. Called and left message, no return call after 4 days. Poor management and zero follow thru. I would like to have my money refunded!

I understand the need for COVID-19 restrictions however having the camp office/store closed at 1 in the afternoon seems extreme. The cabin and space were very nice and the campground was very well taken care of and we will very likely be back after COVID.

The group next to us had a generator running all night that was loud and the people running the campsite never told them anything.

Nice sites, basic amenities, good location. Not paved so it was not good for skateboarding or scooters. Nice wooded sites for tents, too.

Our stay was wonderful The staff was great. The potholes everywhere in the driveway were terrible.The driveway sits below the grade level of the main highway as well. Hard to get onto rhe highway safely.

Quiet 3 miles out of town in woods, older camp area with good wifi, and full hookups, play ground for kids.
