The Kabin we stayed in was great for our family. Everything about the kabin itself was clean and worked fine. The only complaint is the WiFi was horrible. It wasn't even strong enough for basic things like pulling up a website or going through Facebook. Rather disappointing but otherwise everything was great.

The overall experience was great, the setting in the redwoods was great. However, If you have a cabin, they are directly in front of the Maintenance building. With this, there was constant noise, distraction, and activity that I did not expect to be part of this experience. I kind of ruined the serenity. Other than that, I liked the general store and the little play area for the kids.

The deluxe cabin was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The location is very close to the giant redwoods and Smith River.

The staff were friendly, the campsites nice, the camping cabin clean. The arrangement of the sites is the best I've seen; such privacy even when next site occupied. the dog park is a good size, and the large play area is very nice. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone going to the area.

Had a wonderful time in such a beautiful setting! It was close enough to Crescent City to get dinner but far enough away to be truly camping in the forest. Had time to relax and play a card game while doing laundry. There was a space heater in the cabin that made it nice and toasty. Very clean cabin and restrooms! Staff was very friendly! Can't wait to come back again!

I got in very late and was able to get into the cabin with no problems, there was no key but the door was open. We had a good grill dinner and I (dad)sat out and enjoyed a camp fire until late. We had an early escape in the morning and the office was not open but we did not have a key to return or have to settle up with anything so everything was great. Thank you and we may see you again.

Location! Our cabin at the KOA campgrounds in Crescent city California was surrounded by the giant redwoods! What a beautiful site. 24 hour laundry, outdoor sink to wash dishes, and did I mention location. The store/office hours we’re different than we expected but it worked. We had mentioned Scout discount when booking, but did not receive it. Great time discovering the Stout Grove trail

Very quiet and scenic. There was never any paper towels in the bathroom. I know that you had the blow dryer for hands but they do not work very well and dry out your skin. The mats in the cabin were uncomfortable, but other than that it was a very good value for the money and I felt safe there and enjoyed the redwoods.

Loved the location nestled into the forest with gorgeous trees & plants! The historic old growth stumps were a treat as well! The camping cabin was the perfect size. The staff was very friendly. Well organized & just the right amenities. It was very quiet & felt very safe. Thank you :)

Fantastic stay in a rustic 2 room cabin. The mattresses were comfortable and everything was very clean. We appreciated that the windows were open for ventilation when when got there. I was worried about after hours check in but everything was set up clearly at the office. A few extra links on the porch swing for those under 6 feet would increase comfort. Great stay overall! I miss it already.

Quiet and clean. Your receptionists are so friendly and knowledgeable. I didn’t have my extension cord to use my electric stove and one of the receptionists was so kind to let me borrow theirs I will surely stay there again

Had a wonderful time, the people at the front desk where helpful, the cabin was nice. My only complaint, and it’s not the end of the world is, some kids where having alittle too much fun and being alittle too loud, but that’s okay, they are making memories also. Overall, had an amazing time, hoping to come back again soon. Bathrooms where nice, showers hot.

The cabin was amongst amazing trees that were many centuries old. The sink, laundry and bath house were perfect. We stayed warm with a space heater plus our down clothing.

Check in was quick and simple. Very kind and helpful staff :) We stayed 2 nights in the deluxe cabin and it was so great! Very clean!! We didn't want to leave!

This campground is beautiful in the redwoods and close to the ocean and the smith river. The cabin was exceptional. I will be coming back!

Sorry to say, bed and sofa were very uncomfortable. Cabin was clean. Frying pan should have been tossed, bad condition, used dish sponge, couple of outlets didn't work nor the stove light. Staff were very friendly. Cannot recommend. We were 1st time KOA travelers and other 3 KOA's were outstanding. All negatives here can be fixed and it could be a very nice camp.

It all started out wrong with no linen in our deluxe cabin and woke up the next morning to ants everywhere in the cabin and talk to the front desk and said they would make it right and they were afraid that might happen in our cabin and another cause they don't know where they were coming from.Then tried to call the manager and wanted to give us a 10% discount but we couldnt store food or cook.

I had an outstanding time during my two day excursion. From Julie assisting me on the phone, answering my questions, to feeling assisted during my stay, I would recommend this KOA site to anyone traveling in Northern California. KOA Crescent City is clean, safe, tidy, with well kept grounds and facilities. A definite A+ destination.
