Great location near redwoods and beach. Quiet, with nice, shaded sites with mature trees and grass. My pull thru site was level Would give it a 5 except for big dips in driveway and one of three toilets were out of order in the women's room.

Great campground, friendly and helpful staff

Overall the site is fantastic. The main entrance was quite rough with large potholes, and we found it difficult to find our site as many of the road signs seemed to be missing. Once we went in and out a couple times it’s pretty easy to navigate, it just wasn’t obvious for us at first. Our site was number 110 and was very nice and we truly felt like we were in a redwood forest.

The employee’s were super nice!!! We asked about mowing our spot and they were there within minutes!! Front desk personnel were very polite and helpful!!! The whole campground was very clean!!!

It was a nice two nights. We didn't use the rest rooms so I can not comment on that. We were in a 40 Motorhome class A and it was easy to get in and fit into our spot. We were a little closer to our neighbors then we wanted to be but it all worked out. We would stay there again.

Sites are small for RVs but worked out fine. Helps to have nice neighbors. Ours was tight, picnic table in bad place/ full of bugs. Every single day the "grass" mowers were out. Constant Noise. Fellas didn't seem to care how much dust/dirt they blew all over towards sites. Big thing: FIX THE BIG POT HOLES COMING INTO THE CAMPGROUND! Tent camping in the trees looks good. Great play area for kids.

Very nice campground, quiet in a natural setting. Thought they had a problem with the cable tv but it turns out it was my new trailer. I went to the office to tell them they had a problem and an employee followed me to my trailer and tested the cable and it worked. Instant service. I ended up hooking up directly to my tv and it worked fine Great service. Used the laundry mat and it was just fine.

I am simply flummoxed that this KOA, like many others, has the most horrid and virtually non-existent WiFi in all of present day campgrounds. One cannot perform trip planning, no checking of weather or road conditions, no banking, no email, nothing. WiFi is not a “luxury”, but a real need for travelers and their families. I do not understand why KOA does not understand this need.

Staying here, you get the feel of being in the redwoods. The park is on the small side which is a special treat where some of the bigger parks has all the extra people and noise that goes along with it. Staff is friendly and always willing to help and give suggestions. Staying here you won’t be disappointed.

Every thing was fine. The main negative was the condition of the driveway. Way too many potholes. That really is the impression of a property and that impression was very, very poor. Once that's addressed my rating would be higher.

All good except for the potholes in the driveway

Great staff and beautiful campground.

Loved it! Best KOA ever. Wonderful tent sites and well spaced RV sites.

Beautiful setting! Phenomenal customer service! This was our favorite spot so far on our Hwy 101 RV trip. It’s like staying in an enchanted forest!

Very enjoyable stay. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Quiet campground.

Entrance to the campground filled with potholes, need to grade the dirt and maybe add gravel. At 5 mph your camper is tossed everywhere. Also, grass around campsites needs cutting. Our small dog was covered from height of grass. There is no reason why the grass would get so high and it makes a big difference to being able to sit outside and enjoy. No guide to sites.

Not happy that, at 10am, the only person that could pump propane hadn't shown up for work. Had to leave without filling.

Very nice and well maintained. Trash area was always attended to and bathrooms were very clean. Staff was very helpful in suggesting activities.

Very, very nice campground. HOWEVER, the drive really needs to be fixed!

We stayed for three weeks in May in a pull-through site and loved every minute. It was quiet, convenient for visiting places of interest and the staff were very helpful and friendly. If we return to this area, we shall definitely stay here again.

We bent the step on our trailer getting out of your driveway. It is in bad condition and needs a bit of attention. I’d feel safer with a light or two on in the camp itself at night.

The entrance to KOA is terribly pot-holed - easy to bottom out a trailer. Filling with gravel would be an easy fix. It's a discouraging way to begin a 4-night stay. Site A4 is too small for a 23 ft trailer. The back of our trailer was 3 ft from the picnic table of site A5. Fortunately no one was in A5 during our stay but it would have been a real issue for anyone in A5

This would have been a 4 except potholes oon entry and exit and grass needing mowed. This is a beautifull park with some cool features.

Friendly staff. CLEAN. Quiet and beautiful

Fix your potholes in your driveway.

No sewer at campsite. So in staying 3 days we had to be very cautious with gray water. Road In and out of campground was very bad with potholes. To be fair, mgt was going to fill with gravel this week, but while we were there it was bone-jarring. But management was very pleasant and helpful, bringing filled propane and wood to campsite.

Everything was clean and cared for. Our neighbors who were very close to us smoked at their table and it wafted into our Windows. Very unpleasant. The campground says “no smoking within 30 feet of buildings” It should be that way Next to the sites too.

What a beautiful...surprise! Redwoods in the park & to the East - ocean to west! The community has made some great stops along the way. We sure hope to get back! Friendly staff, neat, clean and spacious spots! Wish we could of stayed more than two days!

Only an overnighter but very pleasant, quiet, with friendly, accommodating and helpful staff.

This is our favorite campground and cannot wait to come back

Amazingly beautiful campgrounds with old growth redwoods. Large private sites. The bathrooms and showers were dated and not as clean as they should be. The access road to the office full of potholes. Our site’s power was faulty and so unusable. We had to switch sites.

The campground is conveniently located to visit Jedediah Smith Redwoods and close to grocery stores & gas stations. Spaces were tight for our 41’ fifth wheel mostly because of huge bushy low trees next to us which we couldn’t get by. The entrance sign is small and hidden behind bushes and the entrance is filled with deep potholes along with an unnecessary speed bump.

beautiful setting in the redwoods, clean quiet, gravel pull through wasnt perfectly level but very close. stayed overnight in a travel trailer. JO

Almost everything was great, especially the WiFi. The initial entrance to the campground was terrible though. The road had many big holes it. So many you could not escape them!

Besutiful park! Love the trees between spaces, not only for privacy, but the wonderful smell every time we stepped out. Redwoods everywhere made for a fantastic walk or run. Only issue was the sewer connection was too high, making it hard to empty. Otherwise a wondrous stay!

Very nice oark in a beautiful setting. Close to many beaches between Crescent City and Brookings, Oregon. Only downsides were big potholes in entrance and the dog park had not been mowed recently. I would definitely stay there again.

Really nice campground! The redwood trees are great to walk thru. Washers & dryers really need updating.
May 02, 2021
Enjoyed our stay didn't use any of the offered facilities but the park was nice. Do need to fix those pot holes though.

We love the Crescent City/Redwoods KOA - we have visited many times! However, this past stay we were disappointed that the dog park had been overlooked. The rest of the park was very well maintained and groomed, but not the dog park. It hadn't been mowed or cleaned up and the poop bags were empty for many days. It didn't feel safe to take the dogs in there. Otherwise, love this camping park!

It was fine. Staff shortages makes it hard to get personal service because of limited office hours. The location is beautiful and it’s kept tidy. It’s centrally located to all state and National parks as well as airport.

Perfect and beautiful lot B3. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of their area.

The pot holes in the driveway entering this campground were very big and deep. It was painful entering. We loved this camp except for the pot holes. We hope they will be fixed soon.

We were just there overnight. In space 404 we had great WiFi, which has been rare in our experience.

Wonderful KOA. Staff is very accommodating and competent, the restrooms were clean and functioning, the sites or well-maintained. And nicely positioned with privacy. I totally enjoyed myself there! Thank you guys. Highly recommended. The info sheets of interesting things to experience while in the area along with the directions - superb. Stout Grove. Fern Canyon. Thanks Leslie Julie Steve egg man!
