Easy back in sites. Very clean campground. The large dog park was great, belongs to the city but could use some benches to set down while dogs run. Would highly recommended this camp grounds easy Access.

What a nice campground in the middle of everything at Dodge City. Great WIFI and facilities. Will definitively stay here again if back in the area.

Bathrooms were closed all the time - had to ask the staff twice to open them. Staff not friendly acted like they couldnt be bothered - store and desk closed whe marked to be open

The bathrooms and showers were great. Even though its near a railroad track. It was very quiet. We walked to the information station and Boothill Museums. Very convenient. We enjoyed our stay even with the 40-50 mph winds.

Rented a deluxe cabin, unfortunately, the cleaning job on that cabin was far from deluxe. Coffee pot had a used filter left in it which molded, no lightbulbs in the bathroom (which makes me think it could not have been cleaned properly), bedding was not changed, seriously, there were hairs in the sheets, and wadded tissue under one bed. Very nice people, got a small partial refund.

Really nice, well-maintained campground. Very nice city dog park accessible from the campground. Internet access is as fast as home, which is really nice when you're needing to map routes, or find your way around town!

This campground was immaculate. Front desk was so friendly and accommodating. Truly a wonderful place to stay!

Not easy to find weaving around in the park. Good reception. Terrific dog Park. Good location and level cement pads. Dreadful Wifi. In Dodge City wifi should be much better

Office not open upon arrival (1 pm Sat), no check-in packet left in entryway. Called phone number (local hotel) posted on locked door to get site number. Never recd expected info from checkin (brochure, rules, wifi info, etc) This place does not deserve to be a KOA.

All things there we as expected, however, getting there was quite a challenge. I would have been lovely had there been signs directing us through the maize of turns and streets.

Well located, nicely laid out. No hot water in the men's shower or in the sinks in the remote bathroom, so unable to shower there.

We stopped for a quick overnight and would stay here again. The campground was right in the middle of Dodge City, and close to many areas of interest. Very convenient access to main roads. Campground was quiet, clean, and facilites were up-to-date. Pull-thrus were good-sized. There was a slight bit of traffic noise overnight, but this was expected given that the campground is in the city.

When I see so many sites where the fire pits have been run over, and not fixed or moved I cant help but question how much management cares about the campground.

This is a new park and they still appear to be working off the rough edges. Not very many pull throughs. We stayed in a back-in which was ok with us as we unhooked to go to town, but may be inconvenient for others. Call ahead or use the app to see if any pull-throughs are available. It was quiet and we had a good night's sleep. Will stay again.

It is a nice campground. The biggest issue is security. I have been to alot of campgrounds, and have not been at one that is open at the back for anyone ,and people did drive in. Mainly 4 wheeler and side by sides. Alot of noise from these vehicles during the day until finally about 9:00.

Seems to me they have let this campground slide a little. Several long term tenants and those sites have become cluttered. And they let these off-road atv’s go through the campground to access the nearby river. They drive right through one of the picnic pavilions. Sorry to see this happen.

Everything was very clean well put together the host was extremely helpful and friendly. We would recommend this to any of our friends and family to stay at the KOA in Dodge city.

Park is new. Check-in paperwork and receipt was prepared prior to arrival and check-in process was pleasant. Park was clean and neat except for a few long-term camper sites (local workers?). Those were littered with dog poop, bones, torn work boots, broken bicycles/motorcycles & grills with rotten covers. Disappointed that bathhouse in rear of park was locked. Only showers at office were open.

This is a nice facility--clean & close to downtown activities. Nicely landscaped--our site was generously-sized & close to dogpark and some community open space. Staff friendly & helpful. My 3-star rating is due to the very poor internet service. I don't expect much from campground internets but it's most inadequate.

Stayed for 2 nights. The KOA is pretty new...one of the longest pull throughs I ever had...VERY EASY! I have a very big 5th wheel (40 foot) so that was nice after a long drive. The RV Park is next to a nice park with a zoo and waterpark....Great for kids. All Dodge City attractions are probably about a mile a way. Very Convenient! Will definitely stay there again when coming trough Kansas.

The first campsite we were sent to the 30 amp service did not work and the water could not be shut off, It dripped consistently. We were moved to another location were everything worked, however in the morning when we were leaving we went to three trash cans before we found one that wasn't overflowing.

The office closes at 4 which seems quite early to me. The grounds are in fine condition

Convenient location to in town activities, good wide sites. A little close to noise from the ATV's and motorcycles playing in the dry riverbed. Laundry was only partially functional but access at Hilton was helpful. Staff also worked to adjust reservations & sites. Overall good.

We didn't have reservations and wanted a safe place to stay. The KOA camp was perfect. It's clean, children and pet friendly. The rv sites are a good size, especially the pull throughs. The restrooms are clean and the showers have hot water and good size. They are located closed to several attractions, especially a waterpark and a free zoo. I would highly recommend it whether you have a reservation or not.

We tent camped. They have grassy areas for tents with tables and water. The shower houses are brand new and some of the nicest I've ever seen. it takes a little bit to get hot water but be patient. They also have a great laundry room. two things that you'll want to know if your tank camping is at that area is Will lit so it might make it a little difficult to sleep due to all the light and also because it's new and in Western Kansas there aren't many trees for shade or hammocks. the place is new and in the great location and very well lived in very safe and the people are friendly who run it. I would not hesitate to go back.
