IOverall the property was good. The faucet in the tub could use some updates/repairs. Water pressure very low.

Unit was filthy appearance was run down you walk in the front door of the paint is peeling the railings are bent and one of the deck spindles was tilted cigarette butts and dog poop surround the premium cabin walls were filthy vinyl peeling up in the bathroom shower barely usable Only Koa I would not recommend that we have stayed at in the last five months!

We stayed in a cozy Deluxe Cabin that had a large refrigerator, stove with oven and microwave. It came with 2 queen beds and the linen and towels along with soap and shampoo and a love seat with a small table with leaf's you can open up. Only 2 table chairs and one bar stool type chair along with dishes but that was limited to One Coffee Cup so only one of us could drink coffee at a time.

We tried calling the regular number and the after hours multiple times with no answer. We had no heat, room was 50 degrees when we woke up, only a gallon of hot water, dirty floors, dirty walls, hair and stains on all the linens. The receptionist said the manager would call us and no one has called. I would like a refund for my $180+ I spent there, I should have stayed somewhere else for less.

we absolutely loved the pet friendly cabin. We only used it for a single night during the new year winter storm (traveling back from the holidays) and it stayed cozy and quiet and warm despite the wind and below zero temps. Adorable and great first time experience using a KOA

The campground was so clean and welcoming. It was in a wonderful location and the staff could not have been any nicer. I look forward to returning and would recommend this campground to anyone.

Stayed in Cabin 2 and it was filthy. Contacted cleaning lady and she did sweep and scrub the floor at my request. Overall condition of the cabin was awful. Bath tub grain had water standing in it. The floor in living room had a huge hole. The rug had dog pee stains on it, broken mini blind in living room. The smell was discus ting inside the unit. We stayed there in 2017 and would not recommend.

Very nice location and ownership- the staff was awesome! Renee and Eric were THE BEST!! The cabins need some care & updating. The smoke alarms went off (several times) with simply opening the oven door- no smoke present. Believe the propane set it off. Cabins need-Dish cloths & towels, sheet pan, lg bowls to heat in MW, door hinges need oil & the plumbing fixtures need de-limed.

The cabin was nasty, needing cleaning and maintenance. Sheets were stained, couch had not been pulled out or cleaned since built. Had to leave and go to a motel. My $400plus was refunded but our first day of vacation was ruined.

The newest facility I’ve been to, it’s so nice! Love the giant dog park! A bench would be nice in there. We love fires, and would have liked someplace on the property to enjoy one… we stayed in Cabin 9, and the only complaint was about the water pressure, I didn’t wash my hair because I didn’t think I could get the shampoo out.

The cabin was decent, though the stove/oven didn’t work right due to some issue with the gas output and no matter what we cooked on the stovetop, and no matter how low we could get the gas burner, it set all of the smoke alarms off. Otherwise, staff was very friendly and helpful and we had great customer service from them.

It could have been better. There were no blankets for the fold out sofa, there were no toiletries like shampoo or body wash, only one small tiny trash can in the bathroom. Disappointed with the amenities.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and did some exploring in Dodge City and the surrounding area. The KOA fit our needs perfectly.

Rented a deluxe cabin, unfortunately, the cleaning job on that cabin was far from deluxe. Coffee pot had a used filter left in it which molded, no lightbulbs in the bathroom (which makes me think it could not have been cleaned properly), bedding was not changed, seriously, there were hairs in the sheets, and wadded tissue under one bed. Very nice people, got a small partial refund.

It was exactly as advertised. You’d get 5 star but the shelf in the one bedroom was a hazard if someone got out of bed in the middle of the night as it was in the walkway and at eye height.

Stayed in a cabin. The office staff was terrific. The cabin was nice, but it would help if it had toilet paper and perhaps some soap and dish soap. We stayed just 1 night, so we didn't have dish soap with us (thanks to covid, we travel with pretty much everything else!). The setting was convenient and quiet and the sunrise was beautiful on this flat campground - we got the full horizon view.

We didn't have reservations and wanted a safe place to stay. The KOA camp was perfect. It's clean, children and pet friendly. The rv sites are a good size, especially the pull throughs. The restrooms are clean and the showers have hot water and good size. They are located closed to several attractions, especially a waterpark and a free zoo. I would highly recommend it whether you have a reservation or not.

We tent camped. They have grassy areas for tents with tables and water. The shower houses are brand new and some of the nicest I've ever seen. it takes a little bit to get hot water but be patient. They also have a great laundry room. two things that you'll want to know if your tank camping is at that area is Will lit so it might make it a little difficult to sleep due to all the light and also because it's new and in Western Kansas there aren't many trees for shade or hammocks. the place is new and in the great location and very well lived in very safe and the people are friendly who run it. I would not hesitate to go back.
