Facility is clean, quiet, and centrally located. Our Assigned campsite was still occupied When we arrived. We had a difficult time getting A hold of someone to help us figure out which site to occupy instead. Nobody was there. We were able to work it out on the phone with a helpful person names Luis. Everything smooth from there. We would stay there again.

Checked in on 6/27-no attendant on duty. The check in list posted on the door was for previous day-it appeared that no one had been in there since mid-day on 6/26. I called the number on the door, they answered "Holiday Inn Express". The woman managing check ins was also working at Holiday Inn. Our spot was taken, had to call back. No one at office our entire stay!!!

Not bad! Clean, new, nice people and facilities. The KOA is convenient to downtown, and there is a water park next door. Nice shower stalls, but the water took long to get hot, and the person who laid the floors needed a level; The water flows away from the drain and forms puddles to stand in while dressing. It will be nice as the trees for the tent sites grow.

We stayed on July 5 and there were people all around the campground setting off fireworks - for hours! Our camper was shaking! We tried calling the office but no one was around.

I booked on line and entered my information as requested about the length of my 35 ft. travel trailer. We got to the park and was placed in a 30 ft. back in space. We called the office about it and was told to just use the grass area as needed. We noticed there were 3 pull through spaces and a large back in space were empty the whole night.

This looks to be a new campground so no shaded areas �� staff was excellent as expected � we only stoped for the night as a resting place but was happy that the historic part of town was across the street.

Would have been 5 star, but you need to check the 30 amp circuit breaker wiring on our site (#132?). Power cut out several times over night, breaker did not trip, but when I wiggled it, power came back on for a while. Other than that, great campground!

Super clean, nice park! Clean store, restrooms! Loved the large Dog Park! Check in gal was very courteous, friendly and made sure all of our needs were met for a nice stay!

It was only a one night stay, but it was 108 outside and there is no shade at all and no swimming pool so no way to cool off at all. In addition, the grass was so long, I would say at least 5 inches or taller so I didn’t want to let my dog in the grass for fear of what might be in it. On a good note, the dog park was big and the facilities were nice and the attendant was kind and helpful.

Great location. Lots of things to do around the campground. RV spots were spaced a bit farther apart so you were not on top of each other. Great dog park!

The facilities are new and nice but it feels like a do-it-yourself park. There is one big site map in the office for camper to see where the site is located but no paper site map with park info like TV channels or local info. There was no Covid 19 precautions taken considering travelers coming from states with a high number of cases. Is not up to KOA standards for customer service!

Arrived Friday at 2 pm signs on door state be back at 3 pm and a phone number to call. No answer multiple times. Wait until 3 pm no one shows up. Another rv,r waiting to called and reached someone. Get sight info. We didn't see a host till Sunday. Very nice and apologize for STATE who runs this KOA. Not stopping here again.

Overall it was accommodating, the bathrooms were very clean. There weren’t working water pumps, and I didn’t want to wash my dishes in the bathroom sink. (Since we were tent camping, it was also sad the trees were babies and couldn’t provide shade). I do not know if KOA could also do anything about the peacocks and the fireworks! There was no one attending to this location at all. Had to call the holiday Inn to get site number. No other info given. Grounds were unkept, grass overgrown to seed and garbage bins were all over flowing.

This the worst KOA I have ever been in. Office closed when we arrived at 4:00pm. Site assignment list on door was for previous day. Called number on the door. Got the Holiday Inn Express desk. Gal at desk didn’t have a clue. Just drove in and pulled into an empty site. Found one with the least amount of very overgrown grass. Garbage bins were overflowing.

There was no one in the office when we arrived and the listing of reserved spots was from the day before. After several phone calls, no one ever arrived. The grass had not been mowed in some time and the trash was overflowing. It is such a shame that a nice, new place like this is poorly managed. Otherwise, location is great and concrete spots are nice.

This was a nice campground, but it was a little frustrating that there was no one in the store in the morning prior to checkout time. We always like to purchase some items and I save all the window tags and I won’t have them from this trip. I can understand shortened hours in the time, but a short time open in the morning would’ve been much appreciated.

The park was kind of clean (trash blown around from the wind) the dog park was HUGE and the parks saving grace for me. Please beware it’s kind of a steep price to pay to sleep next to the city zoo and smell the AWFUL buffalo and bullpens and listen to the captive birds and the screeching of the Emu and peacocks.

Nobody ever in office. Grass has not been cut in about a month. Advertising a convenience store with all this stuff in it . Nothing in the store that they advertised. Won't be back

The office was closed for our entire trip, which was disappointing. The reservation list wasn't up to date on the door. We had heavy flooding in our spot during a rain storm so we couldn't leave due to several inches of standing water. And there was a loud clanking sound all night. We hardly slept.

We had a nice space. We like the concrete pads so we didn't have to spend time leveling. This space was nice and quiet and had everything we needed. We wish the office would've been open.

Staff very helpful. Grass was so tall that the seed heads had formed. It will look nicer once the trees mature a little. Location is pretty dismal.

There was an open sewer pumpout underneath our camper bedroom. The cover had been damaged by a vehicle. Really stupid place to put a pumpout opening. There was no maintenance staff available, so I had to fix it myself so as to not be smelling sewer gas all night. My stay was very disappointing - you won't be seeing me again anytime soon....

I assume due to COVID office closed. Didn’t appear to have had grass cut recently and fire ring was full of cigarette butts. Needs better fencing as 4 wheelers from adjacent park rode in and out.

Cannot believe you are allowing what was once a beautiful new campground, to look run-down, unkept, not staffed. Warped and broken tables, fire pits so over-grown with weeds no one can use them. Had to make 3 calls to the “office” only to be put on hold by a hotel operator. How dare you run the ad saying this is a “brand new campground”!! No map, not even a dumpster visible.

The very first night we were there some People in her late teens early 20s destroyed the bathroom and they were not cleaned the whole rest of the time. There was no toilet paper in any of the Stalls and half of them were Locked. We didn’t see a person affiliated with KOA On site the whole time.

We checked in @ 2:30 PM on a Friday. The store & office were locked. There was no sign on the door saying when the staff would be back to the site. The laundry room was locked. No Wi-Fi passcode or welcome letter was available. I called the after hrs # which rang @ the Holiday Inn. I was given my site #. Called back twice to get the WiFi code. Desk agent @ Holiday Inn seemed annoyed to deal w me.

We didn't have reservations and wanted a safe place to stay. The KOA camp was perfect. It's clean, children and pet friendly. The rv sites are a good size, especially the pull throughs. The restrooms are clean and the showers have hot water and good size. They are located closed to several attractions, especially a waterpark and a free zoo. I would highly recommend it whether you have a reservation or not.

We tent camped. They have grassy areas for tents with tables and water. The shower houses are brand new and some of the nicest I've ever seen. it takes a little bit to get hot water but be patient. They also have a great laundry room. two things that you'll want to know if your tank camping is at that area is Will lit so it might make it a little difficult to sleep due to all the light and also because it's new and in Western Kansas there aren't many trees for shade or hammocks. the place is new and in the great location and very well lived in very safe and the people are friendly who run it. I would not hesitate to go back.
