We enjoyed our stay here for two nights. Sites were large and well spaced and there were good areas to walk our dog. Campground was in good proximity to town. However, the showers in the bathhouse were bad. You push a button and the water turns on for about two minutes. You cannot control the water temperature or direction. Showers were not cleaned the two days we were there.

KAMP K9 USERS: Please be aware that the Kamp K9 is the DODGE CITY DOG PARK. It is one of the nicest city dog parks I’ve visited, but their hours (dawn to dusk), policies, the dogs and their humans are not necessarily KOA related. No large and small dog separation, just one huge park with sketchy people sometimes hanging out on the far end.

Great location blocks from historic Dodge City. The staff is super friendly and the 24/7 bathrooms are clean, Would highly recommend if you're traveling near here.

Upon arrival we were greeted by “Rehne” the host . We received our check in paperwork, later she came to our site to make sure everything as OK. Several times during our stay while she was out she would check up on us. Everything was awesome, level sites,water, steady electricity, Internet, cable tv, office clean along with the bathrooms and laundry room. Plenty of sites to see in Dodge City.

We were impressed by the large, clean bathrooms. The lots were level, and quite large. Although the office was often closed, there seemed to always be someone on the property to go to with questions. The one negative was that the washing machine I used didn’t rinse my laundry well. There was so much residue that I was forced to put them in the other washer and run a full cycle with no soap.

The campground and sites were very clean and well maintained. The laundry facilities were nice. Located conveniently near multiple attractions. The off leash dog park was convenient and large.

We had a site next to the railroad tracks. The smell was terrible. I do not know if it came from the stockyards or spilled sewage but it was not tolerable. We only stayed one night because we arrived too late to find another place the first night. Then we left.

The campground was so clean and welcoming. It was in a wonderful location and the staff could not have been any nicer. I look forward to returning and would recommend this campground to anyone.

nice clean facility. One night stay, easy to get to. Super heavy rain storm with tornado sirens going off and people running to the shelter in the down pour!

The cleanest and best organized campground I have seen. This KOA is not your typical KOA, it is modern, new construction and perfect in every respect. Perfectly level concrete pads with full hookups and plenty of grass. The dog run is about an acre in size with grass and trees. The city park next door has a playground, a complete zoo which is free and plenty of trees and open spaces.

We were coming from Colorado Springs and just needed somewhere for the night. It was very windy but that's just Kansas. :) The facilities were awesome. The only thing I would add would be a privacy fence are around the back side of the tent sights to help with the wind some. You will get a loud wake up call from the passing trains.

No internet, no cable....checked with other campers and they were having similar issues. One man had been staying there long term, and said these issues seem to come and go. We've stayed there before, but not sure we'll be back.

Very clean restrooms, level sight and right on edge of town. KOA is right next to a rail line, but really didn't bother me at sleepy time.

Made reservation, no one in office when we arrived around 4:30 pm. Called number and was put on hold forever! Finally asked groundsperson and he opened office. Couldn’t find reservation. He called someone who couldn’t verify. I showed my confirmation and finally they found me.

We stayed here twice, on our way to Arizona and on our way back home to Iowa. Nice and clean. spots were really level and easy to get and and out of.

Park is beautiful, large sites. We had a storm warning and had to go to the shelter. The staff was great at answering all of our questions and making sure we knew what to do if anything happened.

It was a very nice campground with access to a huge dog park, connected to a great park next door. The people were super friendly & helpful. There was a tornado warning the night we were there & thank goodness there was a storm cellar under to office to accomodate everyone & their dogs. The laundry room is too small--only 2 washers & they were being used to wash linens from the cabins.

Our stay was unplanned and we made reservations the night before. Originally we had a gravel site, but another RV left and we paid for the upgrade. It was a very long pull through with easy connectivity. At night we all moved into the basement/storm shelter of the club house due to tornado warning. There were no issues while we were there and the Kampground was very well kept.

We didn't stay. After a long day of driving, we had a difficulty finding the KOA. It was really frustrated navigating the streets of Dodge City, after dark, pulling a 5th-wheel. My husband did not want to back into the space I managed to get reserved. We had confused this KOA with another campground we had stayed in before in DC. We drove to Liberal to a familiar campground, easy in & out!

Very convenient to Dodge City..a walkable distance which meant I could leave my car at the campground. I was in one of the tent areas. The area was nice and large and level. While I did set up my tent, I sleep in my car. I found the electric pole much too far from where my car was parked and my solar power station inside that I wanted to recharge during the night.The shower heads could be better.

The main bathrooms were not cleaned in the 3 days we were there. The other bathrooms were "closed" because of a water leak. How long does it take to fix a water leak? Seeing from previous posts the bathrooms been closed for awhile. No staff at check in and only saw someone when we left. The dump is on the wrong side of the road

We didn't have reservations and wanted a safe place to stay. The KOA camp was perfect. It's clean, children and pet friendly. The rv sites are a good size, especially the pull throughs. The restrooms are clean and the showers have hot water and good size. They are located closed to several attractions, especially a waterpark and a free zoo. I would highly recommend it whether you have a reservation or not.

We tent camped. They have grassy areas for tents with tables and water. The shower houses are brand new and some of the nicest I've ever seen. it takes a little bit to get hot water but be patient. They also have a great laundry room. two things that you'll want to know if your tank camping is at that area is Will lit so it might make it a little difficult to sleep due to all the light and also because it's new and in Western Kansas there aren't many trees for shade or hammocks. the place is new and in the great location and very well lived in very safe and the people are friendly who run it. I would not hesitate to go back.
