If all you need is the basics this place is fine. WiFi worked and all the hookups had no issues. But that's all this place offers. The only issue I had was showing up right at 5:00 and the registration office was already closed. How many travelers reach their destination by 5:00. Not many. 7:00 should be the earliest the office should close. KOA should mandate this or revoke their KOA status.

Great concrete sites. Clean bathrooms and showers. Had a great stay and will definitely go back again

Everything you could expect and more.

Nice park, good sized paved, level sites.

We had a good stay at the Dodge City KOA. It is convenient to all the tourist things in the downtown area as well as adjacent to the City's waterpark and zoo. All our FHU's worked well and we had a very long pull through site which was very nice. If our travels bring us this way we would stay here again.

very modern with cement pads and good access to the sites as well as a club house with lots of amenities
Nov 11, 2021
Very clean & well organized easy access sites.

The pull through sites are great, everything perfect. But the dog park steals the show! If you have dogs, this is a must stay if you are on your way somewhere, or your destination is Dodge City tourism.

For the price and no sawer on site I think the price should be less. We stayed at other camp sites for the same price with more amenities.

Very nice campground.

Great till sundown. Crazy people on very loud 4 wheeler followed by 2 dirt bikes running all over, no lights on. Entering along the tracks. You need a little authority in this place.

Everything was great—clean bathrooms, showers. Staff was very helpful. Only downside is back-in spaces were gravel and had large ruts. Made leveling a challenge.

It was very clean and the showers are a good size. The pull-through was a great size, easy to get in and out of. The location is perfect and the staff very friendly. A good place to take your children. The park is a good size and so convenient to the zoo and other attractions. Very family and pet friendly.

Nice facility. Hard to find. No hot water in men's shower at 7 a.m. Stupid water control in showers.

Clean, nice and easy cement slab pull through

A well maintained, clean, quiet place. Easy pull throughs and wide concrete parking spaces. We were in #36. Sad to say the neighbor in #34 let his dog sh** in our space. I hope not to be blamed. This is one of the best places I have stayed.

It's small but well kept.

Nice campground. Showers need a recirculating pump on the "Hot Water" side. It took almost 10 minutes for the hot water to reach the shower. A big waste of water. Other than that, camp was clean and up to date.

we arrived late, there was no one in the office but we had a paper that told us where our spot was, never saw the park attendents. Located next to railroad tracks, that was a negative, but also next to a dog park, the regular park and the zoo. A lot of traffic through campground, but all the sites were nice, we had full amenities and it was great, concrete pad, water, electricity, sewer and cable

The campground is very clean and a great location. Our site was level. However, we had no internet on our site, the bathrooms were locked, and there was no water at the dump station. The cable tv was only analog and a snowy picture. We checked in around 4 pm, yet no person on site so we had to call to get WiFi password ( useless).

We enjoyed our stay here for two nights. Sites were large and well spaced and there were good areas to walk our dog. Campground was in good proximity to town. However, the showers in the bathhouse were bad. You push a button and the water turns on for about two minutes. You cannot control the water temperature or direction. Showers were not cleaned the two days we were there.

KAMP K9 USERS: Please be aware that the Kamp K9 is the DODGE CITY DOG PARK. It is one of the nicest city dog parks I’ve visited, but their hours (dawn to dusk), policies, the dogs and their humans are not necessarily KOA related. No large and small dog separation, just one huge park with sketchy people sometimes hanging out on the far end.

Very quiet park the staff was friendly. Large dog park. The whole park was well taken care of.

Great location blocks from historic Dodge City. The staff is super friendly and the 24/7 bathrooms are clean, Would highly recommend if you're traveling near here.

Upon arrival we were greeted by “Rehne” the host . We received our check in paperwork, later she came to our site to make sure everything as OK. Several times during our stay while she was out she would check up on us. Everything was awesome, level sites, water, steady electricity, Internet, cable tv, office clean along with the bathrooms and laundry room. Plenty of sites to see in Dodge City.

Very nice place. Just wish you could adjust the hot water so very cool showers.

It would be nice if you would double stack your washers/dryers, 2 of each just aint enough.

We didn't have reservations and wanted a safe place to stay. The KOA camp was perfect. It's clean, children and pet friendly. The rv sites are a good size, especially the pull throughs. The restrooms are clean and the showers have hot water and good size. They are located closed to several attractions, especially a waterpark and a free zoo. I would highly recommend it whether you have a reservation or not.

We tent camped. They have grassy areas for tents with tables and water. The shower houses are brand new and some of the nicest I've ever seen. it takes a little bit to get hot water but be patient. They also have a great laundry room. two things that you'll want to know if your tank camping is at that area is Will lit so it might make it a little difficult to sleep due to all the light and also because it's new and in Western Kansas there aren't many trees for shade or hammocks. the place is new and in the great location and very well lived in very safe and the people are friendly who run it. I would not hesitate to go back.
