Railway right behind us. Not a good nights sleep

Showers were pretty bad. Not dirty but drains backed up, couldn’t find a dry spot to change. No water pressure. No way to get cooler water, too hot. But the sites were nice as long as you didn’t need a shower.

Reserved and paid for a pull-through site and did not get one. Fire ring was totally buried in the ground and could not be used. At least the campgrounds was clean and well kept.

Clean campground, really nice level concrete RV pads with grass around each site, and asphalt paved interior roads. No shade trees at campsites. Nice store and friendly staff. Campground has storm cellar under KOA store for all campers just in case, if needed. Hope it's never used! Clean laundromat. A short walk to Boothill Museum and historical downtown Dodge City. I would return again.

Just an overnight stay. It was 104 degrees out. We needed an escape from the heat. The electricity was good and the place was clean.

Staff was very helpful!! Park was always clean. It is close to attractions as well. Our only comment would be to put a KOA sign up for those who end up entering by the zoo. It is very confusing when you enter from there. Great RV park!!

Our camper was on a pull through cement space and very level. This KOA was very clean. We would definitely stay there again.

This was the second time we have stayed here. This is one of the nicest koa campgrounds we have stayed at.

We stayed right across from a pavilion near the dog park. There was a (seasonal) couple, and their guests playing cornball after 11 pm. This went on for hours. Their children were also running around playing at that time. The 2 couples drank laughed and played loud music until I finally went outside my motor home at 2:30 and told them to shut up. Apparently this KOA caters to seasonal guests onl

Office was NEVER open during our stay. Map to our site showed us going wrong way on marked road. A guest informed us of correct direction. Better signs directing us would have helped, city has recently changed some roads and GPS has not caught up.

Easy to find and get to. Very friendly staff. Nice parking spots. Good amenities. Close proximity to any needs (food, shopping, drugstore, etc.). Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent campground! Large sites with concrete pads. Clean and well kept! Laundry area easily accessible. Short distance to downtown attractions. Great friendly staff. Really nice KOA!!

The one thing they could do something about (and is the reason I only gave three stars) is clean the bathrooms. During my stay the bathrooms were never cleaned. I came in on a Friday night and there was feces on a toilet and when I left on Monday the feces was still there. My wife said the supplies in the women’s room were always low. She had to go into multiple stalls to find toilet paper.

Beautiful park, great experience, clean, concrete pads, lots of grass that is green and lush, FHU, walking distance to tourist attractions. Huge dog park- that Cody & Max thought was really cool..

Was a nice campground, but my campsite's concrete pad was covered with mud from previous occupant and I had to clean up trash as well, would of been nice if it was cleared off before I arrived

Friendly staff, huge concrete drive through sites, great dog park, great laundry facilities and quite park. Small free zoo water park and down town all within walking distance.

Great park. Large concrete pads for the pull through sites. However, my fire ring was located within 5 feet of my neighbors large LP gas tank-quite concerning. We opted not to have a fire.

Wonderful staff but for a fairly new campground the bathrooms in the back weren’t working and there was dog poop everywhere Grounds could’ve been mowed or better landscaped

We stayed for 9 nights in August to attend the Dodge City Days rodeo. This KOA location cannot be beat as most everything was within walking distance to all the events and attractions. The sites were clean and level and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Nice campground, it was extremely disappointing to see all the dead trees which it appears that they were planted staked and and ignored. The wires were not removed and the trees were choked and died. Mowing and edging was another neglected area that should be addressed. I will check out the other campsites when I return to Dodge City.

Everyone was really friendly. The grounds were very clean, the store well stocked. The laundry room was clean and there were places to sit while you waited on your laundry.

We loved everything about the camp and the location was great! Only complaint was the grass around our site wasn't mowed until the day we left and something in there was pretty itchy.

Wifi at our campsite was very weak, campsite needed to be wider so wouldn't have to go into the grass, women's restroom needs to be cleaned more often. The tampon container in the stall that I used was never emptied in the three days that I was there - disgusting. The restrooms near our campsite were locked throughout our stay. The women working in the office were friendly and welcoming!

We didn't have reservations and wanted a safe place to stay. The KOA camp was perfect. It's clean, children and pet friendly. The rv sites are a good size, especially the pull throughs. The restrooms are clean and the showers have hot water and good size. They are located closed to several attractions, especially a waterpark and a free zoo. I would highly recommend it whether you have a reservation or not.

We tent camped. They have grassy areas for tents with tables and water. The shower houses are brand new and some of the nicest I've ever seen. it takes a little bit to get hot water but be patient. They also have a great laundry room. two things that you'll want to know if your tank camping is at that area is Will lit so it might make it a little difficult to sleep due to all the light and also because it's new and in Western Kansas there aren't many trees for shade or hammocks. the place is new and in the great location and very well lived in very safe and the people are friendly who run it. I would not hesitate to go back.
