We checked in before 6 pm. The lady at desk left before I could ask about showers and restrooms. We left camper there and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. Wasted my money.

The best welcome I’ve ever received at a campground or hotel! The desk attendant was warm and pleasant. Information for my stay was well-organized and waiting for me. I appreciated the clean grounds and fun playground. Thank you!

Great place to stay to visit Dodge City and the Boot Hill Museum. Very clean with large concrete pads. One of the best equipped parks that we have stayed at in a while.

The electric didn't work at my site. Staff had me move to the adjoining empty site where it did work. I put some of my stuff out at the site and then went into Dodge City to explore. When I returned, someone else had taken over my site! I had to call as the office was closed. The young man had me choose yet another site and he gave me 50% off my bill. So in the end I was happy.

Nice park. No pool, but water park within walking distance. Also free zoo. Be aware the dog park is shared with the public. It is quite large and has a gate on each end, but this is just something you might want to watch for. Thought we were within walking distance of the museums and attractions, but it was too hot to walk that far. Good location, though.

Very clean with friendly staff.

Everything was clean and nice. Site was fairly level. Close to activities. Wish there was some shade and sewer hook ups at all sites. But there was a dump station so not a real big deal.

This was made one of our favorites when visiting or stopping for the night in Dodge City. Spacious site was ready for my 45ft Toy Hailer. Staff was friendly and helpful. The staff take pride in their facility as everything was clean and sanitized. We will be back in a couple of months. Thank you!

Staff were very helpful & friendly. Superb city dog park right next door! Only wish there would have been some shade at my site.

Just one night, passing through. Can be a little tough to find.

Friendly staff, very helpful. No shade trees in the park. Nice concrete pads. Very easy to navigate roads. Just need shade.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating. Can't say enough good about them. The site we got was on the end so very spacious and level. There is a huge dog park (city park) with access from the campground. My dogs loved it!!! The negatives would be no shade. Weren't really able to sit outside until 8-9pm. But hopefully the trees will grow quickly.

Employees very nice and helpful too many full time clients living in campground management should have fire pits cleaned out so you could actually use them the main restroom clean the one at other end of park not so clean

the Dodge City KOA was not what I expected comparted to other KOA's I have stayed in other cities and states. The site looks good but it just was not what i expected after a 7 day stay at Amarillo Journey KOA. the space assigned did not accommodate my 37F Jayco Seneca and tow. I made the mistake in believing that all KOA's have certain standards that would meet my expectations every time.

The KOA campground was very nice with large double concrete pads. Very clean with many ammenities. Dodge City itself has missed a big opportunity to provide tourists with anything much to do. We expected swinging door saloons or more of an old west feel. The KOA there I would highly recommend.

Site had large, concrete pad. Park is next to city parks and dead end street affording quiet. Pet park is clean and huge.

a very nice and clean place to camp; good location also. It is only a short walk from the campground to the best of what Dodge City has to offer visitors.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay and loved how friendly the office staff were but would recommend some extra help for maintaining the property.

We just stayed one night but you have a really nice Rv Park!

Location to historical activities is great. Bathroom had latge puddle of water all three days we were there. Parking on gravel sites had narrow gravel area with grass (weeds) at entrance to trailer, resulting in lots of grass being tracked in.

The camp grounds and bathroom and showers were clean. Its In a good location and staff are friendly and helpful. I will be coming back and staying here again.

Lady in office was helpful. We booked full site but got water/elec. she said it was a system glitch and refunded part of our stay. Our site was cramped and dirty. Trash left in our fire pit. Very hard to level the camper. Pull thru’s looked nice and bathrooms too. Like the vicinity to town.

We didn't have reservations and wanted a safe place to stay. The KOA camp was perfect. It's clean, children and pet friendly. The rv sites are a good size, especially the pull throughs. The restrooms are clean and the showers have hot water and good size. They are located closed to several attractions, especially a waterpark and a free zoo. I would highly recommend it whether you have a reservation or not.

We tent camped. They have grassy areas for tents with tables and water. The shower houses are brand new and some of the nicest I've ever seen. it takes a little bit to get hot water but be patient. They also have a great laundry room. two things that you'll want to know if your tank camping is at that area is Will lit so it might make it a little difficult to sleep due to all the light and also because it's new and in Western Kansas there aren't many trees for shade or hammocks. the place is new and in the great location and very well lived in very safe and the people are friendly who run it. I would not hesitate to go back.
