Beautiful area and convenient to Cheyenne and Ft Collins. Sites were decently spaced.

We had reserved and paid for 6 days. We made it through 1. It was a nightmare. Upon arrival we met the owner who was rude as if we were bothering him. He led us to our site, pointed it out and left. The place reeked of sewage and horse manure. The flies were unbearable. They covered everything and invaded every time we opened the door. This places KOA credentials should be revoked.

The customer service was lacking. Mr Bullet (sp) was a ",grumpy old man:. He was not at all friendly. Other staff were good. WIFI was down most of the time. No swimming pool. We would like a coupon for a nights stay because of these problems. Thanks. The Hopkins

Campsite C-6 was great. Trees were awesome. So many flies, that we had to stay in camper and buy fly strips. WiFi signal was weak and did not connect most of the time. Other than that, loved it.

We had to fortunately leave before our original departure date. We could not stand the flies ! It made eating outside horrible. No joke. If you like thousands of flies flying around you and the smell of cow crap...this Is the campground for you!!! Oh and the pool wasn’t running...sucked.

It was the middle of a summer and the swimming pool was being repaired and we were told it would be closed for the whole season. I also asked for a spot away from the dog walking area and we were put two spaces away from it. Don't like dogs going to the bathroom on our grasp on the way to the doggie station. Not happy with this Campground.

Place was clean, people were friendly but the flies were horrible. I guess there is a pig farm down the road.

1 star is to high a rating for this KOA. Not sure which is worse, the sheer number of Homesteading rigs or the run down, junky, trashed out rig that are allowed in this KOA. There are several campers parked full time that probably could not make it down the street if towed. Additionally the facility itself is overgrown, neglected and doesn’t look like it’s been updated in 20years. Worst KOA

Staff tried hard. Too many semi permanent visitors who abuse the campground facilities. For example park 3 cars at one site making very hard to maneuver. Lots of personal gear spread out around sites looked trashy.

Well maintained campground, perfect for families. Cabin was great! Close to Horsetooth Reservoir! Very friendly staff and clean facilities! Would definitely stay again!

In today’s environment you need to have fast internet. I had to run over to McDonalds. The one at the resort never did work for me at all.

The staff is very welcoming, nice people. Helmut immediately brought me a ladder when I had slide out issues and advised about RV repair options. Nice store and laundry with basic supplies and hardware also. Lots of flies, with junkyard views of monthly residents, and zero privacy.

90% of the people staying there actually live there. It is a dirt lot with dirt, (no gravel) , dirt lot and spaces with a strip of weeds in between. Everything is severely outdated, damaged, and not appealing. The owner said he has run it for 20+ years but it's obvious theh gave up 10 years ago.

This KOA is very clean. Friendly staff. Only disappointment was the pool was closed. Can get stinky there. Someone said something about a dog food plant?

The flies are out of control, and the full time residents make the KOA look trashy! The I-25 noise was very loud, hard to relax and sleep! Had we driven through prior to making our reservation we would have never stayed at the Wellington KOA! We are very surprised that the KOA brand would allow their name to be attached to this location!

We were put in a spot between 2 long term residents and we ended up helping them both with issues with their trailer/motor home, We had to ask people to move vehicles so we could drive out without hitting trees that had grown into the assigned parking spot.

Hosts were welcoming and friendly but the camp grounds left a bit to be desired. I understand that a lot of people are monthly residents at the camp but would appreciate staying by a tidy neighbor. There were quite a few with bottles and debris lying around.

Unfortunately, because we were staying only 1 night, they put us in the dirt with no shade. The sun coming in from the west made it really hot in our uni even with air-conditioning. There was a "Cannibus Museum" across from us and we didn't know if they were selling weed there or not. Did not make for a comfortable stay.

Wonderful visit! Staff is always so kind and helpful! Campsites are clean and very accessible. Had a two night booking, but had to leave a day early. They gave me a rain-check for my next visit... I expected that I would just loose the payment. Very awesome!!

The facilities were fine, but right by a horse pasture that attracted flies and when the wind was right, it smelled too bad to open windows. We had to eat inside the RV. Pretty views, lovely horses, clean place, but I won’t return because of the flies and smells. Pool seems nice people, but closed due to the virus, not their fault, but they should tell you in advance.

Concrete Pad was nice, power and water good. Site was nice. The flies were horrendous! I put up a fly strip and caught about 60 in an hour also the smell from the horse or cow barn was strong when wind died down.

Just stayed one night in-route, but this is a nice KOA. The grounds are well tended and the playground looked fun. Plenty of dog-walking area. Due to COVID19 amenities were somewhat limited. Probably nice when fully open.

Stayed two nights. Nice site and good facilities. Found the staff friendly and helpful. Would gladly stay there again if we return to the area.

We had a great time! Our tent site had great shade. We stayed for the 4th of July and had great views of many fireworks shows going on around the area. Nice bathrooms and showers. Great kamper kitchen. My kids had a blast on the playground and swings. Close to Poudre river for swimming which was nice since the pool wasn't open as we expected it to be since the other FOCO KOAs pool was last weekend

It was smelled like an outhouse because it’s next to a dairy farm. They didn’t clean the restrooms like they should be during a pandemic. I never saw anyone clean them.

Loved it!! Sad the pool was closed. Only thing I could recommend is adding a bathroom closer to the tent sites as the main building is the only restrooms at the campground.

The staff was the best! They are all very helpful and courteous and met my needs at all times. The park is well maintained and my dogs loved the K-9 park! Keep up the good work and we will continue to recommend staying at this location and will try to visit often!

Feedlot next door smells when wind is out of East. Mostly dirt roads but well kept. Staff good.

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
