Stayed in a cabin first. Left for a weekend and came back with the RV! You are in the country next to many farming and ranching operations, so expect the things that come with that.

Nice, large campground with nice facilities and friendly staff. However, they seem to be filled with mostly long-term campers. Some of them seemed to be somewhat territorial and unwelcoming to short-term campers, such as us. Would have been nice to know that they have so many long term residents.

Everybody working here is very nice and accomodating. But this time we stayed in one of the cabins. When we were sitting on the porch swing we looked up and noticed about 500 flys above us hanging out under the roof. Pretty nasty.

Bathrooms were SPOTLESS and staff was incredibly welcoming! We will be back!

Staff were friendly and helpful, cabin was clean. Smell of nearby horses or cows was unpleasant at times, depending on wind direction.

I was given a cabin that had no heater. Didn't sleep well, it was about 45 degrees in there. I feel that I should get a full refund. Will not be back.

To many camper sites that are living there full time that are un kept and nasty. Horse ranch on site smells and brings in tons of flies. Homeless people living in tents. Old man manager comes off as grumpy. Rest of staff nice and polite.

It was a great stay. I would only suggest sensor lights in the restrooms/shower rooms so that when someone is quietly getting dressed after showering in the early morning and a second person comes in to use the restroom, the second person doesn't shut off the lights on the first person as they leave.

The KOA employees are the best, they male you feel like family, our second time there and we will definitely be back. Grounds and bathrooms and shower very very clean! Love it!

The staff is excellent, pool is nice, showers and bathrooms are clean. Exactly what you would expect from a KOA. The camp is close to a cow feed lot and the smell carried to the camp, along with the flys. We sat outside but we’re swarmed with flys all day. These things are not in the staff’s control but it made for an unpleasant stay.

Rented a cabin that was fly infested and all we smelled was some sort of animal feces—and it wasn’t horse manure. We ended up leaving and staying somewhere else.

Wasn't up to par with others I've stayed at. This year the flies were so bad we left early. I had to buy fly traps that were over priced, feel like they should have at least been supplied. Campground is too close to farm so smell is bad and only one cabin had AC as an option. Not likely to stay there again.

My family of four have been going to KOA’s for the last 7 years and this location was by far the most disappointing.Zero effort is made aside from the restrooms being fairly clean.Our cabin was covered in dust AND died flies!Little to no activities including 3 bikes 2 of which were broken.Nothing planned, no interaction.So many flies we couldn’t cook.Smells of horse poo.Booked 3 dys stayed 1 n

Our stay was great til the very end. We decided to go swimming before leaving. He arrived at the pool before me, when I got there, i unlatched the gate & went in. All was fine for about 30 mins til the man Hermit? Showed up. He was very rude & told us the sign on the gate said 12pm-8pm. the brochure said 8-8 & the gate wasnt locked. Told me it was written in Eng! Rude jerk! Don't stay here

The campground itself is well maintained and clean. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. The major drawback is being located next to a feed lot. If you are good with the odor of that, then it's a good place to stay.

I want to just say, thank you. Your a “staycation” for my family and we just love your KOA. My 8 year old cried when we left because of all the kids she met on your “awesome” playground. The cabins close to facilities, clean, great indoor “hangout” w/ tables/tv, Everyone seemed to care about our stay. We will be back. Soon. I have been to a lot of KOA’s,this is one of my favorites!!

The cabin was perfect for what we needed. However, it would’ve been nice to have a notice that the grills are NOT gas like other KOAs. The bathrooms were clean and up kept very well. My only complaint is we caught the back end of an argument between a employee and someone on the phone. They were very loud during it. Maybe try to keep those kinds of conversations in private areas?

Great campground! Quiet and nice tree cover. Staff are friendly and everything is nice and clean. We stayed in a cabin which was convenient to the office and bathrooms. There might be a bit of a walk from the further out tent camping spots.

Convenient location, and great campground, for a quick overnight stay during your travels along I-25. Cleanest bathrooms and showers of any KOA we’ve been to! Very friendly, polite, and helpful staff; especially Chris, who we thought was a great ambassador for this “kampground.”

The friendly staff were very welcoming and helpful during my stay. Everything was very clean and orderly. Although I visited during the shoulder season in Colorado I could tell the staff was still running the campground in tip top shape. I was a little concerned with what I believed to be a permanent residence on the site was very close to the cabins and did not have the same standards.

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
