Friendly staff. Nice amenities. We enjoyed the kamp kitchen and nice playground. Some tent sites were so tiny. I’m glad I paid a bit more for a larger electric site. Unfortunately my site had over 60 cigarette butts scattered around which I picked up and threw away. Overall a good stay.

I stayed at tent site 7 for 2 on Sept 5-7. Anne and Helmut were fantastic hosts. They made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to make my stay special. The facilities were spotless and the tent sites all had great shade and plenty of trees! The property next door has beautiful horses frolicking around on it... it was great to watch them play. I will definitely be staying here again!

This has been my favorite KOA stay so far. I was uncertain initially about the location, but it was close to so many cool places in the mountains and of course the city of Ft. Collins. I also really liked the layout of the campground with the playground and pool. The bathrooms were the best by far of any KOA I've been to. Keep up the good work and we'll be back!

At one time this was probably a nice KOA but it is deteriating and could use some up keep. for what the rates are to stay and outrageous high prices in the store you would think some funds would go into more upkeep. $4.50 for a bag of ice, really, a grocery store it is less than half the price. The park backs up to a cattle ranch and running ditch the mosquitos and fly's are horrible.

We were very pleased with our tent site as it was large enough to accommodate our cargo trailer and truck. There was ample shade available and a nice fire pit. The wifi was serviceable for my needs. The bathrooms were clean. The staff was very nice. Loved the location as Fort Collins wasn't that far! Will definitely recommend this facility.

The people were very nice, very friendly. However, the location of this KOA is almost unbearable. Immediately upon arriving, we were assailed by flies and mosquitos due to the horses/farm next door. The tent sites are on the border, and all night the bugs were relentless. I almost thought about leaving and staying somewhere else. I’ve stayed in KOA’s across the country and this was the worst

The bathroom was so perfectly clean. We appreciated the camp kitchen. The grounds are well-kept. We were shown right to our site. It was a great stay, thank you so much!

The employees were helpful, friendly, and the facilities fine. Unfortunately several times during our stay, once late at night, a horrible overpowering smell of what I assume is hog manure overwhelmed the camp. It was a terrible smell, I am from Iowa and am used to driving past hog confinements and this smell was worse, almost like what you would expect it to smell like inside a hog confinement.

Helmut and his entire team are top notch. Facilities were impeccably clean and maintained. Every single KOA team member I met while there was kind and extremely accommodating. Helmut, Sue and Michelle made me and my pup Addie feel at home and part of the family. Can't wait to go back!

Everything was nice, It needs restrooms near tent sites and for tent camping it was very loud because of the interstate, bring your earplugs. Noise might be ok in a camper but in tents it was loud. Over all the grounds were well kept and clean. Nice restrooms and showers. Store was nice and had everything we needed. Staff was nice and easy to work with.

The staff was nice and the building clean but the location was noisy and smelled awful. Staying in a tent next to the horses was not what I signed up for, I left a day early. Need more transparency about location and the ability not to cancel my reservation stunk. I ate the cost rather than stay another night

This was our second stay in Wellington. Tent sites are along the fence line with great view of the horses. Staff are very helpful friendly.

Was trying to find a pop, as in soda, machine and asked the local crack head, who also was living there and he told me not to trip!!! Not to impressed!!! Next to a horse sanctuary or something and apparently people live in a tent at this location. Estes Park was 100% a better experience.

There is only one bathroom and the tent sites are all so far away from it. But the flies. I can’t even tell you how bad the flies were. They swarmed us and every single food or drink by the hundreds. No amount of fly traps or fly bug zappers worked. It was absolutely miserable. We checked out only hours after we had checked in. I would never stay here again.

All I could smell was cow and horse manure. The tent sites are so close together and it wasn’t relaxing or peaceful at all. The flies were atrocious!!

My wife and I had two nights reserved on a tent site with power and left after one. Basically we were camping in a field with a feed lot for thousands of cattle.The sites are in terrible shape, the flies unbearable and smell of cow manure was so bad our gear still smells like it. We booked with confidence because it was a KOA. They need their KOA name stripped. I will be talking talking to CORP.

Family of four tent camping with two young kids. Pros: online reservation and check-in were fast. Kids enjoyed the playground. Ok: pool was very cold and filled with cottonwood tree cotton. Cons: campsite backed up to lots of horses. There were flys everywhere and the manure smell was offensive. KOA is next to loud highway. Loud garbage truck picked up the trash at 5:30 am. We did not sleep well.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here.The first time was just a random stop, but for the second trip we specifically came back here because we enjoyed it so much!Short drive to downtown Fort Collins, but secluded enough that you don’t hear highway noise.Staff is very nice.We needed fire wood after office hours and the lady working was kind enough to open back up and sell us some.Will retur

Nice clean campground. Only issue is only one dryer was functioning and we were 3rd in line. But repair guy was there in the morning when we left. Also could still here the highway at night in our tent and got a nice wiff of that "country air" in the morning. Employees were very nice.

The managers of the property are super nice and there were a lot of activities to do around the facility. The spaces for the tent-only camping were really close to each other, which was a bit off-putting. The pool was kind of dirty and the basketball court had a bunch of construction equipment (lumber) on it, to the point where it made us not want to use it.

It is a good basic campground. If I had one thing I wish that all the tent units had a grill and picnic table. Be aware that they all dont.

Staff very friendly. Bathrooms were clean. Nice setting with lots of birds, trees, and grass. Nice playground for the kids. Our camp site was big enough for our 6-person tent and car. There is an adjacent horse paddock, so the campground smells like livestock. Campgound gets noise from the highway, so bring earplugs! We enjoyed our stay.

We were in a tent spot for 2 nights, $74. Our friends in full hook ups $28 a night. Disappointed that everyone didn't have a fire pit.

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
