This a great campground! Big trees, fun playground, updated bathhouse, etc. Sites available for short stays.Staff knowledgeable, friendly. No problem with flies or feedlot smell. Glad we stayed there.

We rented to of the cabins. The grounds and cabins were very clean. The beds were very uncomfortable, we even put extra blanks on top of the mattress and still was uncomfortable.

The place smells like a stockyard almost constantly. Location is not ideal; it's a ways away from anything to do, and there's an agriculture lot next to it that has bright lights on all night long. Water pressure fluctuates. The cancellation policies are so anti-customer they clearly show the owner/manager doesn't care how the policies impact the customer. Bathrooms were clean.

First it appears as there are a lot of permanent or workers living here. Cable wasn’t working but it did get fixed sort of, more channels over the air. Would recommend staying at the Lakeside park instead.

There were soooooooo many flies couldn't enjoy being outside, also spend lots of time swatting them inside too. Didn't matter how careful you were keeping the door shut. On top of that, the SMELL of manure was unbearable. We were happy to be leaving!!!!

the absolute worst KOA we have ever stayed at the flys were relentless. in addition the place smelled like an open sewer making it impossible to sit outside. had to call the office to have a large pile of dog crap cleaned from our site. appears like most of the sites are filled with permanent residents. the sites are cluttered with debris - appliances. the place is a mess. never again

We got in after hours and during a thunderstorm. The entrance is the opposite of what you’d expect. So we almost went in the exit. When we opened the door to lick up our packet, the stench was horrible. It smells like your staying in the middle of a cattle yard! It was awful! The staff was awesome the campground was nice with all the amenities. The problem for us was we were very close to the stables and as it got later the smelly horses and tons of flies did not allow us to be outside or have our windows open. Ft. Collins was just a stop over for us on our way to Utah.

Nice staff. Site was not to bad but we were covered up with flies. It backs up to a pasture but I’m not sure that they were the whole source of smell and flies.

Wonderful. Friendly staff, quiet, shaded tent & RV sites. Clean, nice amenities including a nice camp kitchen for multiple groups to use. Large store, but prices a bit higher than other camp stores.

Too many long term people. The place is a wreck. Dog crap not picked up. Trees block site where satellites don’t work. Noisy neighbors at 3:00 am it’s like a trailer/mobile home park!

A lot of dirt! praying that it would not rain. Unable to extend awning due to large tree branch. As usual, KOA parks tout free wifi, only trouble, it wont let you connect to the internet, weak signal, etc. Required to use cell phone as hot spot, or use your mifi, using a lot of data. Its ok to say you provide the means to surf the net, but be honest and tell people to bring their own back up.

Booked 2 nights and only stayed 1—-the flies the stench as well feeling like we were in a trailer park versus a campground due to the folks living there just made it a terrible experience—-staff was friendly but will never stay there again.

Cable did not work at my site. The smell of a nearby cattle stockade was not pleasant. Otherwise the staff was very helpful and nice.

We felt deceived. We had no idea the KOA was practically in the center of a cattle feedlot until we went outside for our evening walk. We had to rush back inside because of the horrible smell. I called the office and was told someone must be grinding feed nearby and it would go away when the wind shifted.

I hate to give such a low rating, but this was the worst camping experience I've ever had. The fire pit was full of trash when I arrived. The ground was lumpy and uneven. The proximity to I-25 made it pretty noisy all night, but also the nearby livestock were noisy and stunk. The flies were thick and I got bit. This campground might be okay for an RV, but I do NOT recommend for tent campers.

Camp ground for one night was OK, smell from the factory pig farm was not. The smell was horrible, took two days to get smell out of our RV. I lived on a farm in Pa. all my life, but this was over the top. Not the RV parks fault, just my opinion. Sorry !!! I still use many KOA's in our travels.

Spot was overflow area next to dumpsters. Flies were thick and overwhelming smell came and went all night . Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Pricey...all things considered.

Un level sight on rocks. Smelled like cow manure. To expensive for what you get. Other than that the water and electricity worked well. People who worked there were nice.

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
