Worst shower I ever had in any campground. No pressure and the water was either scalding or freezing. Really need to fix that.

Easy to access and plenty’s of room. Good bathrooms but close to cows which was the only detraction when the wind was in the right direction

Poor scores because when we stayed there was a bad odour about our location and we were plagued with flies! The site itself was fine as was Helmut the ‘boss’.

We really enjoyed the large sites with trees and grass. It gave you a feeling of some privacy and a sense that you were camping rather than staying in a glorified parking lot like some places. We also really appreciated the private bathrooms. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice KOA, very friendly and welcoming ladies at registration office. I noticed that there were a lot of permanent residents at this park though and only about 10 to 12 sites set aside for people passing through. I wanted to stay a second night but no availability. I would stay here again when passing through if there is availability.

The campsite itself is in the middle of what appears to be a horse/cow field, right off the interstate. It smells pretty bad, there’s flies everywhere and the tent sites themselves are tiny with no privacy. This campground definitely needs some trees. WiFi didn’t work and the only way plus was warm water in the bathroom. Staff were nice, but definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Het stonk op de camping naar dode dieren en mest, het wemelde van de vliegen, de douches waren sterk verouderd, de mannelijke eigenaar was een chagrijnige vent, ‘s morgens vroeg werden we gewekt door het getoeter van de treinen, het enige positieve was de aardige vrouw bij de receptie.

Looks and functions like a typical KOA although the campground is right next door to a feedlot & livestock which causes a very concerning fly problem. AVOID renting the cabins due to the amount of flies hanging out in them. This KOA should remove these cabins to make room for more RV and tent sites or even close that location. It is interesting why this KOA is next door to a feedlot.

Our first time was acceptable. The second time had a problem. We were in A4 directly across from a dumpster. It had not been emptied and the smell was very bad. We could not sit outside due to the smell and large amount of fly's it attracted. Otherwise the facility is acceptable for a short stay over.

I had a good one night stay. Clean showers and bathrooms. Yes, there are flies. But you are in a field in Northeast Colorado. What do you expect? If you want all the comforts of home, you should stay there. Owners are great! Thank you!

I appreciated the staff for accommodating us-everyone was super...We had to move 3 times in 7 days...I thought they could have rearranged some of the people who hadn't checked in to avoid this but, I don't know how their system works. It was quite noisy by the road but... it was ok. Very nice amenities, especially for kids

Great staff. Nice clean and level sites. Full hookups. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. Needed air in my camper tires and one of the maintenance people took care of it for me. Really appreciated that. Would definitely come back.

Sometimes the wind blows in from the neighboring horse farm. The smell may be unpleasant for some. Super friendly staff. Clean park with very roomy sites. Easily able to level our rig. Very nice picnic tables. Even has a concrete loop to walk around the campsites. Excellent for all two legged, and four legged campers.

Clean and well maintained. New playground. Could use real WiFi connection that reaches RVs in the campground at least the concrete pad sites. Needs to be updated for this day and age. Beautiful view of mountains. Nice grocery store and Vet in Wellington - Rideley’s Grocery Store and Wellington Animal Hospital.

Some showers heads were not working well and one shower room had no hot water. Shower curtain was to long and I keep tripping on it. First rental car we had to return because the breaks were bad and the second car we were given also had bad breaks. Your cars needs to be better maintained. The camp grounds are just beautiful and so clean. Your employees are so friendly and kind. We will be back.

Not well maintained. Electrical issues at site resulted in host moving me to another. Great except he then assigned the site to another guest instead of fixing. Bugs everywhere, sites not level, very dated facility. Needs to be upgraded, sprayed, regraveled, tables painted and WIFI upgraded significantly. Lots of permanent residents. Do Not Recommend. Gave 2 stars since staff was friendly.

Great as a home base for CFD or an overnight stop. Not recommended for a camping experience, or a large group gathering. The other reviews that were posted are on point in regards to flies and mosquitoes. They are atrocious!! We came prepared, and did enjoy one evening outside, but they drove us indoors for the most part. The smell also gets awful. Bathrooms were best I've seen at a campground.

Staff was nice most of the time during such a busy time with Cheyenne Frontier Days. However, the power went off for a couple rows. It was in the high 90s. When we went to report it they they acted offended and were rude. Lots of weeds at sites.

People were very friendly & helpful. Sites are narrow, good full hookup, no fire ring, flies & mosquitoes were HORRIBLE! Good amenities & closeness to Cheyenne or Denver. Good place for a quick, overnight stay during CFD.

We were only there one night but was very impressed with All the amenities avaliable. Very clean campgrounds and personal were very friendly and made you feel at home.

The flys were terrible. The front desk staff was rude, (an older skinny gentleman) tried over charging me. Just didn’t have a friendly atmosphere at this KOA. We stay at KOA’s a lot. :-(

The terrible smell from the farm animals next to the camp grounds never went away. In addition, the large swarm of huge flies prevented us from having any enjoyable or fun time outside. This place needs to be closed down.

Serious mosquito infestation along with many other pests. Dead rat at my site. Worst KOA I have visited in my extensive travels. Trash appeared to have not been wmptied in a long time. Could not even go outside with getting myltiple insect bites at any time of the day.

We stay at KOAs whenever we travel, and this one was the least attractive to us of all that we have visited. The mosquitos were thick, the pool was small, but it was quiet there.

Very nice and well-kept grounds. Maintenance was mowing between the sites at 8:00 AM! Got that country smell once in a while.

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
