Nice crew of employees, Poor WIFI otherwise it was a OK place to stay. Next to a livestock field.so smells could get strong. Also flies and Mosquito can get out of hand.

Very poor internet, got heckled by staff while in the lounge trying to use internet. The mosquitos were overwhelming. Campsite was exposed and depending on the wind, we could smell sewer or old garbage. In the Kamper’s kitchen, only one burner worked in the stove we tried to use. All this being said, the restroom facilities were kept very clean.

While the staff was friendly and the KOA quiet, the campground was infested with mosquitoes and flies that drove us to stay indoors or leave altogether. They said they had free Wifi, but only in the rec room and then we couldn't even get a connection. Only one of the two showers worked in the ladies restroom. We would choose another place to stay next time.

We came to meet up with friends. Our stay was good. Although we didn't try the pool and other things offered we were comfortable. The misquitoes were the biggest problem. I don't know if you can do anything about them though.

I came in late and it took me a bit to figure out what to do to check in since the office was closed. I thought the place looked nice. landscaping was pretty, no trash laying around, campsites were clean. The bathrooms were always squeeky clean no matter what time I used them even after hours. only drawback were the swarms of mosquitos, flies and the occasional smell of cow from across the road

Very nice campground. Well maintained. Friendly, helpful staff. Peaceful setting. Cable good. No wifi reception.

The only thing was all the flys and mosquitoes. They were very bad. Staff was wonderful and grounds and bathrooms clean. Seems like it could be sprayed or bait put out for the flying pest.

Location is not the best; 20 mins from town. Lots of flies and mosquitos because of the feed yard to the north and horse pasture with standing water to the South. Staff is wonderful!!!

The cabin was great and the facilities were better than expected. They even provided a cooking area under a pavilion that was complete with sinks to clean up afterwards.

It was our first family camping trip. The site was well sized and the staff very friendly. The bathrooms were clean and I was glad we could access them all night. You could maybe fix the grills so they are more level at the sites.

Campground was family friendly and clean. Restrooms were maintained and the showers were warm and clean. Close enough to go to the city and hiking.

Location was easy to find. Owners of property were very nice and bathrooms/laundry kept clean. They do have a small pool we did not see anyone use. However the odor from a feed lot and the cattle manure from close by the property was horrendous during the time we were there. Along with the flies and mosquitoes being so bad, we spent no time outside the camper.

Nice Campground. Staff was awesome and very helpful. Everyone there was courteous and very nice. Really really nice. One problem: no service for the cell phones. Internet was spotty. Other than that, it was good.

Nice campground. Loved the pool and hosts were very nice. The Verizon reception was awful and internet off and on. Surprising as Verizon is usually everywhere. Thunderstorms created tons of mosquitos, but I would stay there again.

Worst Camping experience I’ve ever had. Disgusting putrid smell of rotting sewage made us leave at 3am, satellite shows stockyard and 3 sewage ponds within 1/4 mile, not normal farm smell. Full time residents make KOA seem like trailer park. Substandard KOA, there are much better options, AVOID. KOA should revoke franchise, this does NOT hold its own to other KOA

Great park, nice staff. Only problem was flies and mosquitos were really bad, could not go outside and enjoy the weather.

Mosquitoes were HORRIBLE. Too far of a drive to Estes Park/RMNP. The place itself is ok. It was so busy the staff kept the laundry room open all night, which was a blessing.

Literally next to multiple farms. The stench was horrible had to keep cabin windows closed. Did not like the fact there was no code at night, allowing anyone to access the main building area. Bathrooms were dirty ...just old.

We were a family of six that used a tent with electric spot. Our reservation and check in was done with ease. We were aware of the mosquitoes so we came prepared. Beautiful property with plenty to do with kiddos. Our kids love the old fashioned playground :). Close to many hikes and adventures. Would definitely come back again! Thank you!

this is a full timer park with a few over nighters scattered. When I asked what the "Journey" part of the name was, I was told its a KOA for one nighters...just a baldface lie.

I was not happy with my stay at all at this KOA. We stay at quite a few KOA's and this one has been the worst. The smell of sewer/cows was overwhelming at times. There are also quite a few permeant residents living there. That brings the look and feel of the place down.

Great place and great people. Had no problems at all! Will definitely be back and will recommend to others. The addition of fire pits in the electric tent sites was a great addition. People at the front desk were very helpful when my family decided we wanted to stay another day and they found another spot for us unfortunately we had to move but it wasn’t a big deal. Great place! Thanks!

We didn't spend much time at campground as visiting family in Windsor. But like the clean atmosphere and friendly worker who checked us in and helped us parking camper trailer.

The staff is excellent and the campground is well taken care of. The main detractor is more the location of the campground than anything. It is located near a wetland and the mosquitoes were quite overwhelming at times. This is to be expected when camping, but the part of the location that was hard to deal with is the atrocious smell from the animal stockyard it is next to.

One bathroom facility for the entire campground is an issue. Bathroom facilities and “rec room” need some serious updating. Everything is old and worn.

Showers were great! Washer/dryer in site. Folks in the office were super nice. There was horses. The kids loved the playground. They were as accomidating as they could be to get our party as close to each other as possible especially for a holiday week.

Stay was wonderful, even had enough voltage to run the Air conditioner, We find in a lot of Campgrounds which we have stayed in, when it is hot and everyone is running their A/C, we find that many times the volts drop to less voltage in which to safely run the A/C. I am happy to say, we now stay in KOA campgrounds if we can because we don't worry as much about the Electric problems that other camp

Very grumpy employee verbally accosted my wife and I. MOSQUITOs thickest I've seen--need to spray. Showers so hot it was dangerous. Burned my hand fending off hot water when toilet flushed. Need cold water not in line with toilet--DANGEROUS. Could not influence, but stock yards less than half mile away. Normal wind made for strong smell.

We pulled in exhausted and almost in tears due to a broken down cruise America rv. The staff were so kind and helpful in getting us a space to rest for the night as well as helping us to refill our water because we did not have a hose. Thank you so much for your kindness we really needed it.

Just stayed overnight but was impressed with staff as friendly,helpful & courteous. The park,amenities and facilities were very well maintained. Best KOA of the last 5 we have visited.

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
