First of all let me say the staff was very nice. If that is the only positive about this KOA. I would never stay there again unless I was really really desperate. There are flies flies and flies everywhere. For the most part the campground is very unkept. I would say at least 50% of the campground is long-term rentals and their sites are filled with junk. the roads are dirt and it’s a dust bowl.

Flies. Everywhere. Place smelled of manure from horses and feed lot. Dangerous showers - set the water temp but cannot stand under it because it goes cold when anyone else uses water or flushes a toilet. What are all the permanent people doing there. looks trashy. It is not enough to be the only place with a parking spot left. I will definitely not be back.

Dirty, trash bin overflowing and SO many flies! Only one friendly face. Long term campers nearby created an unpleasant environment. We won't be back.

Had no water for 2 days, still off when I was planning to leave. No anticipated day for water in B row to be restored. Grounds clean and neat. Staff courteous and friendly.

Everyone was quite helpful, however we could not get to their internet to see our emails. We had to use our personal jet pack. Staff was great. The sites were clean.

The facilities were clean and the staff was very friendly. The only downfall was the smell of cows which were very near our space and extreme amount of flies at the site which could not be helped.

I made reservations months ago. I made a mistake and five minutes later we got the conformation I saw the mistake and called them immediately l . I needed 50amp service and what I got was 30 amp. They didn't have a 30amp do I ask them to just cancel but they would not refund my money. Koa customer t said there was nothing t would do. So we stayed there when I was told there was a rate hike 1

The staff was very helpful and kind. I appreciate all the amenities available: out door kitchen, pool, dog run, WIFI, full hook-up over flow, etc.

Staff was friendly and camp store well stocked. Bathrooms clean, bright, nicely decorated. However, the strong barnyard odor and a plague of flies made it impossible to be outdoors. Swimming pool was not well maintained. Wi-fi didn't work unless you were at the office. Glad we were only there for one night.

Very friendly office staff, they went out of their way to be accommodating. Thanks Michelle for dropping wood off at our campsite on two separate occasions!

This was our second stay in Wellington. Tent sites are along the fence line with great view of the horses. Staff are very helpful friendly.

Was trying to find a pop, as in soda, machine and asked the local crack head, who also was living there and he told me not to trip!!! Not to impressed!!! Next to a horse sanctuary or something and apparently people live in a tent at this location. Estes Park was 100% a better experience.

Too many long term residents bringing down the quality. Very junky looking. Flies were terrible. No way you could sit outside. Bathrooms were so so.

Couldn’t get 50 amp @ our site. Roads through park not paved. Leak sprang under our camper had to move another site. WiFi was bad had to go to office or near to get it. Road into park gravel like wash board. Park full of flies

Staff was wonderful. Site was clean and level, everything convenient. A little hard to find it. It was raining and getting dark, maybe we missed a sign. The campground had a smell of sewer, or I could have given it 5 stars.

Flies were terrible since sites are right next to a cow pasture. Wifi at sites didn’t exist, and the long term residents of the campground made it more of a trailer park. Do not stay here.

Sites were spaced out enough to have room. Dog park was great, the horses were an added bonus. Pool was tiny and 2/6 washers broke along with a dryer. Nice place off the beaten path though! Quick trip to Cheyenne!

The campground was well-maintained and we enjoyed their poly pong. The only surprising thing was the smell, which we realized after awhile was coming from the horses that were either on the property or right next to it. I think that is what accounted for all the flies. But our RV site was large and very nice. The tent site was grassy and spacious.

It was very nice The staff was wonderful. The only thing I didn’t like was that there were alot of flies and in the evening the air smelled of cow manure from the pasture next door.

Nice place overall. Plenty of room in our space for truck and A-frame trailer. The bugs were relentless but mostly harmless. The shower facilities were clean, but the water was either freezing or boiling. Reasonably quiet.

Nice folks running this campground but having to deal with 'tons' of flies, mega horse manure smell plus the ton of mosquitoes at night was not an appealing aspect. We could not wait to leave.

First, they did not honor the rate on our conformation. When asked why? We were told that’s the price.....sorry! It’s not the amount ($5.00 a nite) but the attitude. We asked asked about WiFi and were told there probably wouldn’t be any because the park was full. Finally when we were leaving we ran over rocks placed at the turns. They ARE difficult to see and caused heart stopping BIG bumps.

Gravel road rough to enter campground. I had to clean pool with skimmer before kids swam. Water in shower fluctuated from very hot to very cold.

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
