Camper sites are too close to each other

Too many residents felt like a trailer park not a campground. The swimming area was nasty even though it was closed. Employees friendly, fflowers beautiful!!!!!!

#1-Electric service in 1st site did not work properly #2- Lost money in laundry dryer #3- Way to many full timer sites, felt like I was in a trailer court. #4- Swiming pool was discusting, clean it up or just take it out all together, sorry sometime the truth hurts, The folks who worked the office and store were very good and freindly, would give them a (A+) for what they had to work with.

Too many permanent residents making it seem like one step up from a homeless camp and feed lot smelled so bad we couldn't sit outside. We won't be returning.

It's a nice setting and staff seem nice. We reserved our spot in person, specifically requesting a certain site and were told that we would have that site. When we arrived however, someone else was in that site and were told that she was going to be staying there for two weeks and we would have to have a different site. So, that was a big disappointment.

I could only access their WiFi From their rec room. Not the fault of the campground but the flies there are awful. Bring a fly swatter

Wonderful and friendly staff. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Went out of their way to accomodate us even on a very busy weekend! Would highly recommend the location and highly commend the entire staff!

Staff work hard to ensure cleanliness and upkeep. Price is fair. But, the shift in winds brings in the smell of manure from the feed lots nearby.

We really enjoyed getting away for the weekend. It will be even better when the pool is up and running. The people working there were very nice.

Apparently KOA Journey means, dont stay there. While the sites were of reasonable size, there was very poor internet coverage and much of place looked like a worn out trailer park. There were numerous long term residents and junk campers parked everywhere. The staff were friendly enough but slow and not overly helpful.

Clean grounds but really just a parking lot for permanent residents. Fine just to park the rig for a weekend or overnight. Few activities.

Helmut and Monica are absolutely the best! They went above and beyond to find us a space for a last minute reservation on a very full weekend while we returned to Wellington for a family emergency. There are definitely prettier KOAs, but the staff makes up for any amenities that are not available. If you need a no frills, but clean and hospitable campground, stay at Wellington KOA.

Staff very friendly, site was large with concrete pad, and grass. we had a nice view with horse's. very quite.

Did not stay. Pulled in and did not feel safe. 80% long term rentals. That makes it a trailer park. Then there was the smell of the meat processing plant down the road. Don’t stop here.

There was a strong manure smell while we were there. Not sure if it was from their horse stables or the farm down the road. If not for that one rank problem I would have given this KOA 5 stars for facilities, location and sites.

My two-night stay at this KOA is the worst experience I’ve had at a KOA. My dusty dirt site, G8, had (1) a slope that required blocks under my rear jacks to get level, (2) very weak 30A electric that dropped to 108V with my one AC on, (3) WIFI so weak the network wouldn’t show up on the list and (4) the place looked like a trailer park pretending to be an RV park. For a one night quick stop it is fine since it's so close off I25. There was a lot of old RV's being stored on the west side of the property which blocked the mountain views for those parked east of them. An old school bus was towed in late one night and not the remodeled kind literally an old school bus. The staff is very friendly

The campground itself was nice--paved spot, shady trees. Our electrical hook-up was very loose so we had to prop something up to hold in the plug. Kids LOVED the playground. However, the pool is broken (not noted on the website--the kids were really bummed). LOTS of flies. But the worst part was the smell--close to a feed lot or pig farm. So bad you couldn't sit outside. Stunk up the trailer.

Very friendly at check in. The location worked well for us as we were wanting to be past Denver so we didn’t have to deal with morning traffic.

It was very quiet and staff was friendly. Only complaint was that we couldn't get the WiFi to work. I didn't complain because we were hardly at the campground and could use our data for most things. Would definitely go back if in the area again.

Didn’t realize there were two KOAs in ft. Collins went to the other one first...which was much nicer. The staff at Ft Collins N Wellington was fine just a bad location right off of 85 with strong smell of manure. But we just needed a quick over night so it worked out okay.

Staff was sweet and very helpful but the campground was not in the best of shape. Our campsite was a weed patch and for $58 per day I would expect at least a nice level gravel or concrete pad but weeds not acceptable ! The picnic table was wood And Not able to use because paint was worn and splinters were a definite possibility. Pool was green and not able to use. Unfortunately won’t go back!

I stayed for 2 and a half months and very much enjoyed my time at the Wellington KOA. The staff was friendly and the park well-maintained.

Arrived at 10pm to an overwhelming aroma of a feedlot or dairy. To find out it is just next door. I am a farmer so not a tremendous issue to me, but the family sure did not want this while on vacation. We stayed at the campground a total of 10 minutes, then left and stayed just across the Wyoming line at a fabulous place. Consider it a $55 donation KOA.

I have been stopping there yearly for 4 years. Every year there are more rundown RVs and the park shows it.

Third time here in the last few years and Always Clean, well kept grounds. Hot showers and good flushing toilets are always a Plus! LOL! Little store for groceries and souvenirs too! Will definitely stop in again! :)

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
