I liked the clean site and the paved site and the 50a hookups all the way they should be and handy. I also liked the nice people in the office and especially during these uncertain times. I don't like the dirt road going to the place but I guess they can't help that.

We stayed for one night on our way to visit the University of Northern Colorado. The property looked to be well kept, but with the pandemic, most of the facilities were shut down. It would be helpful to let potential visitors know that you have a number of people who are permanent campers.

The only reason for the 8 of 10 recommendation is that we were traveling through (one night only) and apparently only one site was available. The office wouldn’t let our friend stay in the ample overflow area (meaning he had to find another place to park which took him well into the night and following early morning).

This is an older campground. It is close to the interstate but the traffic noise is not an issue. The management is very friendly and helpful and were a pleasure to work with. We are self contained so did not use any of the restrooms or laundry facilities. The WiFi isn't really usable due to signal strength and bandwidth. We have already made reservations for another stay.

We love this KOA as it is close to Fort Collins, but not IN Fort Collins. It is also smaller and less expensive for when we want to visit family in the area. It is easy in/easy out which is important for our big rig. And, with the COVID issues going on, we were grateful for a place to stay. Thank you.

We really enjoyed the location away from people and streets. There’s a view of the mountains with beautiful sunsets. We were next to horses. Literally, there was nothing else around. It was very quiet, doves coo’ing and birds chirping. A very relaxing stay.

Nice deluxe site with plenty of space, friendly staff, but if you are needing wifi, good luck. Once you get more than 50 ft from the camper building the wifi is horrible.

Convenient location on I-25. Site spacing is tighter than we prefer and site hookup for sewer did not have screwed fittings. Due to Covid, did not like having to go inside office with multiple others inside and wait for some time to get checked in. Would prefer “after hours checkin process” to allow more social distancing.

The park itself is very nice but our space -- A4 -- had a broken water pipe! Maintenance came and inspected it but he said it would require water to be shut off for that whole section in order to replace the broken pipe. So we barely had water in our kitchen and no water in the bathroom which meant no shower or sink use. For the nightly fee of $50 we should have been offered compensation.

Feel bad for you. I don't know what came first the campground or the Feedlot. It was a bad evening when we were there and the smell kept us locked up tight. (We have livestock at home...don't mind a BIT of smell.) Glad you are making a go of it, as there seemed to be several campers that looked like long term "live there" campers. We choose not to complain...just left ASAP in the AM.

I always can count on pleasurable stays in KOA Campgrounds. I've traveled a lot the past 10 years, and know that a KOA stay over will always be a good experience.

The owner is very nice and easy to speak with, the ladies in the office are super sweet. The park is well kept. I've been here since January and love making it my home

The office facility was fine but too many permanent residents in campground. Messy cluttered sites, close together, and no landscaping. Like staying in a crowded old trailer park.

I can’t say enough about this KOA and the owners. It’s a beautiful and safe place to unwind. Super clean bathrooms and everything there is spotless. And the owner is a great great man! I will miss this place and the workers like crazy!

If you love the smell of a 20,000 head cattle feed lot every time the wind blows in the direction of the park, and your camper begins to smell like it on the inside,then this is your place. If you love high prices for lot space, then this is your place. Friendly folks in the office, but I will not stay there again.

We just stayed one night but is was a really great place. Great location, easy access from the main highway but quiet. People were very nice in the office and it was nicely landscaped. Easy access to grocery store if you need to stock up. Nice pool and laundry. Would stay there again.

The staff of the KOA at Ft. Collins/Wellington were friendly and helpful with the few issues that came up during my stay. Unfortunately, the only downside was the offensive odor from the cattle feed lot located virtually next door to the RV park. The odor is the only reason I would not stay at this facility in the future.

Greeted quickly and politely. Taken to our site and showed our hookups. Water was excellent. Bathroom and shower for men was very clean as was laundry. Would stay here again. Stayed in 25 foot motor home.

Very nice people at the front desk and on the phone late night. Quiet area. I loved the horses too. The price was a little too high just for a 8 hour stay but I’m not complaining about that because I was so tired from driving. Easy off and on from the freeway.

Very lumpy ground. Not well maintained. I had a thousand flies in my rv. Had to purchase fly strips. They should have gave the away. Will never go back.

WARNING: this campground is located next to a cattle feedlot and slaughter house. That is NOT stated in the listing. The smell is unbearable with an East wind We had to leave at 8pm only 2 hours after arriving. We told the women in office we were leaving and in the morning called about a refund. Owner named Helmut was very rude on the phone and would not give refund. No stars.

Way to expensive for a dusty spot. Felt like the owners were pushing 50amp coaches to stay in 30amp sites, even though there were other sites open. Couldn’t even keep windows open because of the manure smell. LOTS of long term rvs. I wish we paid a few dollars more and camped elsewhere. 50.00 a night for 30amp felt like robbery

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
