Upon arriving, the office personnel were very friendly and helpful. She took us to our spot, where we got connected to the electricity only. A few minutes after setting up, we were bowled over by a strong sewage smell. Upon further investigation, there was a large wet, muddy area on the edge of our drive. We found brown standing water that reeked. I am sure the personnel knew about the issue.

Beautiful setting in the country with shaded sites. However the sites were close together & with a big rig towing a trailer was tight. The smell of manure and the flies was not welcome. Still killing flies in the cargo trailer & the coach after leaving the property.

Helmet is is rude to customers and abusive to his employees. Park is old and run down. Badly needs repairs.

Good people, friendly and focused at checkin. Facilities need much work. Too narrow un level, trees impeding turning. Just not in $45 a night condition.

Only stayed 1 night - to he septic system smell from neighboring campers was unbearable - we hooked up for television and got nothing - Wi-Fi was non existent - a 99¢ can if Arizona Tea cost me $1.56 - I enjoy 99% of KOA's - this was not one of them.

First class place. Ample sized pads with trees AND satellite reception. We’re already making “excuses” for a return trip to the area just to stay here!

The campground was one of the best maintained I have ever stayed in. The staff was pleasant and genuinely interested in kampers enjoying their stay.

Was ok. Strong odors from both feedlot across the road but I also think from the septic system since unused pipes are only covered with vents. WiFi was worthless. Convenient location for what we were doing.

Campground Did not seem kept up well. Not sure why, but area we were placed in smelled strongly of sewer. Nice playground but mosquitoes were everywhere and couldn’t use it. Overpriced for what we got in comparison to other KOA’s that we have stayed at. Would not stay there again.

Nice park but there is a cattle operation 1\2 mile down the road and when the wind is right it got a little smelly outside of our trailer.

It was ok but they don’t have bbq grills or fire pits so you couldn’t enjoy the evening as you were inundated with flies and mosquitoes Durning the day it wasn’t as bad but the air did get quite smelly from the feed lot and horse coral Ok if you need an overnight quick stop but not a fun place to hang out a lot of extended stay from oil workers with loud trucks and lots of road noise

Nice large pull through sites. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. After reading the reviews I was concerned, but we did not have any issues with smell or noisy neighbors. It was a quiet and pleasant stay for one night of a long road trip.

Great location easy to get on interstate 25 the feed lot is a little tough some days and the wifi is hit and miss. Overall good experience

This a great campground! Big trees, fun playground, updated bathhouse, etc. Sites available for short stays.Staff knowledgeable, friendly. No problem with flies or feedlot smell. Glad we stayed there.

The place smells like a stockyard almost constantly. Location is not ideal; it's a ways away from anything to do, and there's an agriculture lot next to it that has bright lights on all night long. Water pressure fluctuates. The cancellation policies are so anti-customer they clearly show the owner/manager doesn't care how the policies impact the customer. Bathrooms were clean.

First it appears as there are a lot of permanent or workers living here. Cable wasn’t working but it did get fixed sort of, more channels over the air. Would recommend staying at the Lakeside park instead.

There were soooooooo many flies couldn't enjoy being outside, also spend lots of time swatting them inside too. Didn't matter how careful you were keeping the door shut. On top of that, the SMELL of manure was unbearable. We were happy to be leaving!!!!

the absolute worst KOA we have ever stayed at the flys were relentless. in addition the place smelled like an open sewer making it impossible to sit outside. had to call the office to have a large pile of dog crap cleaned from our site. appears like most of the sites are filled with permanent residents. the sites are cluttered with debris - appliances. the place is a mess. never again

We got in after hours and during a thunderstorm. The entrance is the opposite of what you’d expect. So we almost went in the exit. When we opened the door to lick up our packet, the stench was horrible. It smells like your staying in the middle of a cattle yard! It was awful! The staff was awesome the campground was nice with all the amenities. The problem for us was we were very close to the stables and as it got later the smelly horses and tons of flies did not allow us to be outside or have our windows open. Ft. Collins was just a stop over for us on our way to Utah.

Nice staff. Site was not to bad but we were covered up with flies. It backs up to a pasture but I’m not sure that they were the whole source of smell and flies.

Too many long term people. The place is a wreck. Dog crap not picked up. Trees block site where satellites don’t work. Noisy neighbors at 3:00 am it’s like a trailer/mobile home park!

A lot of dirt! praying that it would not rain. Unable to extend awning due to large tree branch. As usual, KOA parks tout free wifi, only trouble, it wont let you connect to the internet, weak signal, etc. Required to use cell phone as hot spot, or use your mifi, using a lot of data. Its ok to say you provide the means to surf the net, but be honest and tell people to bring their own back up.

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
