HORRIBLE “RESORT”. This campground is in the middle of a cow/horse pasture. The smell of feces and the flies generated by such are unbearable. Mostly full timers and trashy surroundings. No effort to keep up the park. Low branches everywhere that hit your RV. Raw sewage around the sewer hookups due to not having a cap on the dump holes, just open vents. Plug ins are worn out. Other than the owners being nice, the horse smell is awful, the flies were horrendous, all of the broken down rvs made us question why we stayed here. Will never be back...Do Not Recommend

I liked the concrete pad on our pull thru site. Our site was next to a stable for rescued horses. We liked seeing the horses, but the smell was somewhat strong. Wifi was very weak and could not stream. Most KOA's I've stayed have much stronger wifi. We didn't use the facilities at the park, but restrooms looked clean. Friendly staff when checking in.

This is a worn down trailer park which is downwind of a horse coral. The smell and flies were horrible. There are a handful of nice size spots with trees but the smell and flies and broken down junky trailers make this a definite no return.

The grounds have the potential of being really nice. The issue is most of the sites are rented out as seasonal or permanent homes. A lot of these sites are horrible looking with everything under the sun stacked outside. The smell of manure was really bad. I'm from the country but this was bad along with an extreme amount of flies. Internet was excessive from the office only.

It was clean, the flowers were beautiful, the people were kind. The flies, however, will bring you to your knees. There is no sitting outside, and you have to make an organized effort to get out of your door and shut it before flies invade from the cattle and horses next door.

nothing spectacular about it. Used the showers they are a little lacking in pressure. A lot of flies due probably to the horses on the property.

We were forced off the road due to high winds. It was early morning and they rented us a space. Not only are they accommodating, very friendly but very helpful. The part itself is beautiful, clean and well maintained. We give them an “A+”. Thank you.

The staff is friendly but the park is filled with long term stays that have all kinds of junk around their RVs. It's pretty far from anything as well. I'll go back to other KOAs in Ft Collins next time.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Facilities are clean. I was a little worried about the reviews about the next door feed lot but turns out it is a horse rescue. Does smell a bit when hot. But it adds more to see while at camp. Very pleased with my first stay.

For the price they have no sewer hook up. No cell service or WiFi. Very hard to get in and out of your spot.

very nice campground. only bad part was the flies and smell from the beautiful plow rescue horses. clean bathrooms and a very friendly staff made our stay comfortable. hope to see you again next september.

Very friendly staff, clean facilities. Maintained and level spaces. Unfortunately just pretty close to an interstate with lots of large truck traffic. Was pretty loud at night because we have a soft side pop up camper.

RV Park was run down. Smelt like horse s___ when we arrived. Dont know if it was fertilizer or what. Service itself was good. Wifi did not work as advertised.

Stayed for 1 night. Facility is well maintained. Campground is well laid out. Sites are reasonably level and shaded. There are rescued horses on site which are cared for by a separate party. Only real downside is there are a lot of flies that probably attracted by the horses.

One of our pet peeves about a number of Campgrounds is when your driving all day and ready to get a good nights rest you have to take an hour to get leveled. We definitely had that issue at this location and the surprising part it was a cement slab. We were put at a site that had a view of the neighboring horse area which provided a hoard of flies. I’m sorry, I normally don’t go negative but you need to know this. Our site and those around us were infested with flys by the dozens. It was disgusting. We were next to a horse corral. Between the flys and the smell we stayed inside the trailer. If there were any other camping options we would have left and argued about the refund nd later. The site itself and hookup was ok.

our space was near a horse feed lot and flies were terrible. We could not eat outside or even sit outside with out being covered with flies.

Some things are out of their control like the manure smell and the fly swarms there are things you can control. There was no water pressure at any time of day on a full hookup site. I resorted to filling my water tank. That took over 4 hours for 40 gallons. Further there a number of resident campers there that do not maintain there sites well.

The campsite is great... Flat, level, very clean. Staff is A+. BUT THE MOSQUITOS ARE TERRIBLE. Couldn't sit outside unless bug sprayed from head to toe.

It’s a nice park. Mesquites are a nusance there. Some little things are in need of maintenance or replacement. The staff are nice and amenities are good.

The camp is clean. When we left interstate to turn into the camp, we drove over such a washboard gravel road that several things in our camper fell out of closed cupboards in spite of it being a short drive. As we explored the camp site and grounds, there were swarms of mosquitos that came out of the grass. Lastly a hog confinement or feed lot less than 200 yds. away made the camp stink.

I was in camp A-5 there was a dog left outside a trailer at A-7 that was barking all the time. When I told staff they did not care and would not stop the barking dog. Will not stay in park that is noisy with barking dogs

What a joy. Starting with our group reservations the staff was very helpful. When we arrived the check in was easy and the staff kept the entire facility clean additionally they were able to meet all of our needs. This is a quiet peaceful location with a pool and well stocked store. Bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. I am going back I really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice facilities for groups. Great, friendly hosts made up for weak, (non-existent?) WiFi and sketchy cable TV. Flies and mosquitos are great advertisements for bringing plenty of bug spray. Thanks to Helmut and crew for great customer service!

The Camp was great, the staff was excellent, but the flies, mosquitos and smell left a lot to be desired.

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
