The bridge across the freeway from SB I-25 to the campground is under construction and is only about 10 ft wide! The road from I-25 to the campground entrance is badly wash boarded and extremely rough on vehicles and rigs. The entrance is confusing as they've implemented the British traffic system of driving on the left. Too many permanent residents with too much "stuff" stored outside their RV's.

The facilities, people and sites are nice. Problem was mosquitoes, I-25 noise and strong horse pasture smell.

I ask for 4 nights in a pull-thru site but was told all they had available was a back in site. But every night there I observed 15 or more pull thru sites available. The back in site was between TWO full time residents when I also saw multiple back in sites on the opposite side of the campground that were not occupied each night of my stay. The grass was dead because they never water.

Beautiful park…but could not sit outside because of flies & mosquitoes even using Repel! Unbelievably affected our stay. Staff was friendly & had great little store with anything you could need! Would never go back however, because they acknowledged their worst year ever for flies/mosquitoes but did NOTHING to help that situation. Fly & mosquito traps & deterrents for big areas…NONE!!!

Front desk staff were excellent and very friendly. The park had cement pads and sites were good sized. My only complaint is out of their control, the flies and mosquitoes are unbelievable. The smell of manure is overwhelming. It may have to do with the horse pasture right next to the line of tent campers.

While the park is a very nice place to stay with room between sites, the flies and mosquitoes are terrible. There were 2 bags in the tree next to us were filled with flies. Every time we opened the door more flying bugs came in. When I was throwing the garbage away I was talking with another guest and she also complained about this issue. Would stay again if this issue was not there.

There appear to be people who live there full time. There is one tent site that has 3 tents (one with an air conditioner) and 3 vehicles. Those sites are an eye sore. Not what I expect from a KOA. The cement pad of our pull through site wasn't close to level. The front entrance sign is confusing. The entrance is on the left side. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The office personnel were amiable but the real reason we chose KOA is because we needed WIFI and although advertised as having WIFI it was basic and not really functional at best. First site had slight signal. We moved to another site and had more signal but still cut you off. I missed my zoom doctors appointment because of this. Lots of full time residents with crap all over.

The folks are great � The spot was good too. There are a couple of negatives that may be out of the staffs control that impacts them negatively: 1- the flies! Holy Cow!! There are soooo many flies. �� 2- the road leading to the campground is horrid. My class A rattled horribly regardless how slow/fast I drove. 3- no restaurants deliver food there (save Domino’s pizza)

The road in was extremely washboard. Once on our site, the flies and mosquitoes were horrific to the point that you needed to bathe in bug spray in order to go outside. This made hookup and disconnect very difficult.

This was the worst KOA I had stayed at. Grass was too high which allowed the mosquitos to thrive and when we went to hook up we’re eating alive still have welts 2days after my stay. No wonder no one was outside enjoying a campfire you were trapped in your camper

The staff was very professional and explained all the amenities available. As usual we were led to our site and helped to get our fifth-wheel lined up to all the hook-ups. We enjoyed the coffee that is made fresh each morning. At night it is peaceful and the mornings are full of other great people that stay at the rv park. We have stayed there many times

Horrible. Strong manure smell and the mosquito and fly situation made it impossible to sit outside and not healthy for us or our dogs!!! I was told... nothing they could do about that. The description in the koa campground directory is very misleading... fantastic views... not.

It’s an RV park with a lot of permanent residents, old broken down vehicles, skirting in dis-repair, and a few available KOA sites that are extremely un-level 4% or greater. It’s situated just off the interstate (not terribly noisy) sandwiched between a feed lot on one side and horse stables on the other. The smell at times was atrocious to our entire party. The mosquitoes were horrible.

The smell of the processing plant next door was unbearable. The flies and mosquitos were the most insects I have ever seen in my life. We will not be back. Your team was friendly.

Only stayed one night as we were traveling thru. Lots of horses penned next to the camp so flies were a problem. Also bad mosquitoes and we were there in Aug.

The owner was very understanding when our rig broke down north of Cheyenne. He worked with us on a day to day basis regarding our reservation.

We were not happy with our site. Our neighbor had dog feces all over the area and it was old and smelled terrible. The weeds had not been mowed in some time. This created a terrible mosquito infestation. The only thing good about our stay was the politeness of the staff.

My encounter with the workers was pleasant. There is nothing they can do about the smell from the feedlot. There should be more mitigation for the swarms of flies and mosquitoes. The campground was clean. There are long term tenants who should be in an out of sight area. The only reason we won’t be back is because of the clouds mosquitoes that you can’t escape. We have stayed here before very disappointed this time. There were many long stay campers which isn't bad however the condition of their sites were very unsightly. cars broken down/ motors out on the ground, motorcycles apart, refrigerators outside on the ground several of the RVs have seen their better days and probably won't even start.Was not the quality i have come to expect. will not return

Friendly helpful and easy on and off freeway.. There are a lot of permanent residents. A very basic camp ground with a pool. Town isn’t far away.

Thankfully we were only there for one week. Treated rudely when asked to trim a tree that was going to damage our RV, Dog park was not maintained - meaning there was dog poop that never got picked up the entire time we were there.

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
